This was better than I thought. It’s a tiny little place, so if you’re coming with a party of 6 or more, will be tough. We were a party of 5 and actually walked by and were going to pass altogether. We decided to head in and were pleasantly surprised. We got the large beef hot pot and the large Thai seafood hot pot to split among us. When they brought out the food, I was worried that it would be too little. The waitress suggested we only turn on the portable burner for the seafood and eat it first before going to the beef hot pot. Great call by her! Given that the beef had a much bolder and heavier flavor, it was a nice transition from the seafood to the beef. Had it been the other way around, probably a very different review. The ingredients were brought out on a tray. It looked fresh and well presented. I liked the seafood a little more than the beef. I also got the corn milk. It tasted fine, if not a bit too sweet for me. It tastes just like another corn dessert(chè bp). I took a couple sips and passed it to my wife. Our friends also enjoyed the hot pot. We found out after the meal that one of our friends actually doesn’t like hot pot, but really enjoyed it. Service was very friendly. Prices were very reasonable. Under $ 40 for the five of us!

The service was horrid, my husband and I walk in the server pull a table apart from another couple to seat us. I ask can we seat at the corner please, the reply was that is a table for four and walked away. Just a note the restaurant has at the time five patrons that is including my husband and I. The food was ok at best. I would never recommend this place or ever come back.

Always come here for a cheap and filling lunch/dinner with Lau Duoi Bo. It definitely fills me and my boyfriend GENEROUSLY. Love the variety of vegetables and proteins you get on the tray. It doesn’t look like a lot but trust me, you will walk away more than satisfied. The service is kinda off, they take your order and bring your food out and that is basically it. You even have to pay at the register yourself. But no big deal for me.

I and my friends had lunch here yesterday. We ordered bun dau and Thai hot pot. I love them all and especially their corn milk and mung bean pandan drink. Their menu is very simple(they have only 2 kinds of hot pot). I think they just focus on phở. Anyway this place is my new favorite so far.

Not sure about others’ experience but mine was good. Phở is flavorful and yes, it’s worth your money. The menu doesn’t have many items but I prefer top notch quality with short menu rather than the opposite. Will I come back? Yes, definitely. Fod was good, price was good. No complaints.

love the the oxtail hotpot and the Thai hotpot here. Thai tea float was yummy too but they don’t always serve it.

Cute, cheap restaurant. The decoration is simple and clean. The Phở is absolutely fantastic when considering the Q2P ratio(quality to price). The tai beef is eh to me, but the broth and portion is pretty awesome possum. The hotpot is a greattttt deal. Could easily serve three people(the large size). Very filling. Will definitely be back here with a date. Service was a bit lacking. Not very tentative, but understandable.

I came here yesterday for brunch and went back again the next night because of their flavorful Thai broth and unique corn milk drink. But service was so subpar I would never come back again. The 2 stars were for the two items mentioned above and it would be a negative 2 starts for 0 service and unsanitary bowl and server. I gave them 1 star in total because I can’t grade them as 0. My first visit was on Thanksgiving morning and the restaurant was fairly busy with a group of people waiting outside. I came in with my sister and since it’s our first visit, I decided to order several different dishes to try. The girl who took our order forgot one of my sister’s dishes. Then we didn’t get our water which we requested after we placed our food order. When the guy brought our bowls to us, one of the bowls had a small bug inside(health department, please come check this place out). Then when the waiter replaced our bowls, his bare fingers(no gloves) were touching the inside of our bowls. He was just at the cash register, touching God-know-how-many-dirty-bills. I looked at my sister in disbelief. Then when the plate of items for our hotpot came out, mind you, the girl forced us to order a big size hotpot(because it’s Thanksgiving), there’re hardly any seafood on there for a big portion. And worse of all, the vermicelli was all chopped up ready to be fed to a baby and not adults. Problem with that was we can hardly pick up those pieces of vermicelli with our chopsticks. Same thing for the Bún Đu Mm tôm aka vermicelli with shrimp paste sauce. Vermicelli was so minced up, it couldn’t be picked up by chopsticks. And I had been using chopsticks since I was 3. But as a foodie, I can almost forgive these horrible things for the unique corn milk and flavorful broth if not for my 2nd visit which was just hours ago. So when I came yesterday, the place took credit cards. When I went back today, TODAY, I didn’t expect them to change to CASHONLY. And they ran out of their signature corn milk drink which was their only saving grace. On top of that, the hotpot they brought out was so hot yet no warning to the customer, the girl place the pot lopsided so I had to try to move the pot to the center and got a burned finger. Did anyone come by to check to see if we need water refill or what not??? Nope. Were there a lot of people in the restaurant to account for the lack of customer service??? Nope. Never going back here again. Please save yourself the trouble. Go to another place. Ph C Hà Ni has similar dishes for less and service is much much better than this place.

After visiting Quan Moc a couple times with my mom, I come to realize that the food they give you is inconsistent, especially the hotpots. Of the four times I came here, I would order the same dish(Thai Lau Hotpot), and all four times, the meats and veggies for the Hotpot would change. The first time they gave me beef, and the second time they gave me fish… You get the idea. If you’re going to be ordering Hotpot, it’s a surprise every time. I often asked the waiters what meats/veggies accompany a particular pot and they would never know. It’s like playing a game of roulette. As for their corn milk, nothing too special. Tastes like corn that has been buttered milked. I also tried their milk tea which was okay; however for the price and portion they give you, it’s not worth it. If you want milk tea stop by almond haus instead because to be honest it tastes exactly the same, just larger portion for a better price.

Cute lil place! My sisters and I had late lunch here the other day. I must say I’m really impressed with their Bun dau and phở tai! 1st time trying bun dau. and I’m impressed:). Their fish paste and tofu were fresh! Phở broth is supper yummy. just the way I like it! And they offer the big noodle which is a plus:) absolutely love the corn milk! Missing a star since we asked for 5 specific items but they either run out or no longer available on the menu:((overall, I had a great experience here at Quan Moc:) I’m definitely bringing more friends to try other dishes: P

We ate lunch here earlier today. I didn’t know what to expect with the mixed reviews. I wanted to try it out for myself. It was a small spot that house’d the original location of Kickin’ crab. The service was good. We were seated quickly and ordered right away. Food came out quick too. We got the Oxtail sate hotpot, phở tai, phở chin, and corn milk. The oxtail sate hotpot was similar to a plate of shabu shabu. The broth had a lot of flavor. You get a good amount of food for 9 bucks. Veggies, beef, meatballs, noodles, and baby corn. There was also a dipping sauce that was delicious! Phở tai here is only 5 bucks. The broth was really good. The meats were okay. Corn milk — I’ve never had corn milk before but it’s similar to the corn dessert the Vietnamese eat but without the corn kernals in it. Not bad Recommendation: Phở and Oxtail sate Hot Pot

This place is brand new barely a few weeks old but they have raised their prices for their menu. I came here due to Unilocal’s 4 stars ratings and saw that popcorn chicken on the menu was $ 2.75 but now went up to $ 3.25. ITWASNOTGOODANDWASVERYSALTY!!! SERVICE: their service was alright, it wasn’t like a «WOWME» experience so it was ok. FOOD: so I’ve tried out their popcorn chicken for $ 3.25 — NOCRUNCHINESS — The popcorn was more of a seasoning instead of both crunchiness and seasoning. —-IT WASTOOSALTY: yes their seasoning for their chicken was way too salty. Every piece I bite into had all tasted like I was eating a spoon full of salt. I barely tried a few pieces and had to throw the rest away in the trash. Usually I don’t wanna throw food to waste but when all I can taste is salt, there is no way I can eat that. DRINK: Corn milk drink — $ 3.25 —this drink was very unique, it was like you were eating chè bap(cut sweet corn with coconut milk) but u get it in a drink. — it was good but it had a SMOKEY taste in the drink which I don’t understand why it tasted that way. Maybe their corn was BBQ or burn??? OVERALL: very limited on food and drink selections. This place is more of a food & snack restaurant instead of a boba/tea place. The Popcorn chicken seasoning needs to be less salty please.

Love the restaurant’s décor! Looks very clean, cozy, and bright. Had dinner with my sister here on Tuesday’s night the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. The menu price is inexpensive compares to other similar restaurants. Our total came out to be $ 23 plus $ 5 tip! We ordered: 1. Thai Hotpot: The veggies and meat were very fresh, but the broth was not as flavorful compared to Oc & Lau or Quan Ngo — 3.5÷5 2. Thit Cuon Banh Trang(Pork Spring Rolls) — I enjoyed the quality of the pork meat and dipping sauce, well balanced flavor. — 4.5÷5 3. Milk Tea/Thai Tea — The teas weren’t too sweet, but came in very cute mason jars. — 4⁄5 Will try their corn milk(sua bap), bun moc, and papaya salad next time!

Service unprofessional and the restaurant smell strong. I had the nasty Phở Bap Bo ever. The soup not warm and the meat not fresh. After 15 mins lunch time I got back to work and the oil smell from the restaurant still stick in my clothe, my hairs! Never come back! So scared!
