Local donut shops over hyped donut shops, always! They even have lotto tickets. This is a convenient place to grab a snack after shopping at Marshall’s. Unfortunately, I did not try their donuts because I wasn’t craving sweets. I did, however, try the ham and cheese croissant. It was okay. I liked the croissant itself but not so much the ham and cheese. Next time, I shall try your donuts D K!

Despite living near big name places like Krispy Kreme and M&M’s, I still much prefer this local shop. The owners may seem unfriendly at first, but they’re very kind and sweet people once you start talking to them. This shop has a lot of regulars and it’s always nice seeing familiar faces here throughout the day. I think their donuts are fairly priced and have a good selection. I personally like the glazed blueberry donuts here better than the ones at M&M’s and you don’t have to wait in line for them either! On my most recent trip, I saw that they added a few more«trendy» donuts to their selection, my favorite being a fresh strawberry donut! It’s nice to see fresh and seasonal fruit being featured in their donuts and this one did not disappoint. The strawberries were perfectly tart and sweet, without any unnecessary syrup, and balanced out the sweetness of the donut nicely.

As Unilocal’s rating comments puts it «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» Places like this are the reason I started to go vegetarian. The«meat» looked a bit sketchy when I purchased a ham and cheese croissant. It was very light, rubbery, and very salty. I’m not sure if it was properly cooked or was actual meat. The people who served me weren’t mean or anything, but they did not really address me at all. They just asked what I wanted and the price. No real interaction. It might be one of those places where they care more about the regulars? Not sure, overall, not a fan of this place.

Got an 16 oz ice coffee that didn’t taste much like coffee at all, more like cream and sugar… I took a sip and threw it in the trash. So for a bad ice coffee, and a small milk I paid $ 4.10 I think that is a little high compared to most donut shop. Their donuts are just okay nothing to wow about, same o donuts, not much selection. No maple bacon bar, no bleberry glazed. King’s Donuts on Garden Grove Blvd is best so far in the Garden Grove area.

Stopping by a Marshalls, Joshua saw this shop and begged me to grab him a donut… or two. Pretty decent, but we got there at noon right before they closed, so the quality of the donut was obviously not as fresh. But Joshua quickly ate one and saved the other for dessert…{sigh} I spoil him, yes I know. We also ordered the Oreo cookie shake. Joshua didin’t like it al all. After a couple of sips he gave it to me and said«Mom, it tastes like coffee!» And it strangely did. However, since I’m a huge coffee lover(in all forms) I took a sip and found it really, REALLY good! It wasn’t heavy on the«coffee» and it wasn’t super thick and heavy on the tongue. I’m heading back there if I ever have a craving for a coffee smoothie… I just have to remember it’s the Oreo Smoothie… or was it shake?

Always a pleasure coming here. The couple who own it are always very nice and have an upbeat smile and attitude. Takes me back to my childhood when the owners/runners of the donut shops wore the same attitude. Thus, making my donut choosing and smelling experience that much better. I never go less that half a dozen or more than two dozen(yeah, I know — I DON’T EATITALL at once! HAH!) and the donuts here are A-OK! More than that actually… the, what they call, «Michael Jackson’s» are amongst my favorite, top five! I usually get 3 – 4 of those in a bunch. Anyway. The coffee is great too and sometimes I get that to dip my donuts in. Check this place out and if you’re really the«sweet tooth» type and like to live dangerously, there is a Cold Stone Creamery RIGHT next door. Hehe. NOW! You didn’t HEARTHATFROMME. Also, don’t blame the extra five pounds on me either. You KNOWYOU want to, even if I hadn’t said anything. You find it when you always look for it(generally speaking, when it comes to ANYTHING).

Not a great place. I only come because it’s close to work. They have blueberry doughnuts now. Everyone finished it before I could get to one so I’m going to assume it’s good, dunno.
