I was really surprised when I stepped foot into the restaurant because of how clean and nice the place was. If you’re looking for some delicious, filling, yet inexpensive banh cuon, this is the place to eat. Portion was generous. Best banh cuon in the OC. Love this place and I’ll definitely be back. I highly recommend this place if you are a fan of banh cuon. This place accepts CASHONLY, so don’t forget to bring your cash. Location: Corner of Euclid and Business Center Pkwy(between Hazard Ave & Westminster Ave). Go to the end of Business Center Pkwy. The restaurant is on your left.

Odered 5 lbs of banh cuon to go. Less oily, thinly layers, one of the better place than Tay Ho and Tan Hoang Huong. The nuoc mam is just right, not too sweet nor too sour. Very decent price for church pot luck or party. Have to order ahead to prevent long wait time.

This is our go to place for banh cuon! We always buy it by the pound, it’s so cheap. Everyone is pretty nice as well.

Wanted to try this place out since we’ve been eating at the usual spots, Tay Ho and Phở Tau Bay Ltt Restaurant. For the typical lunch rush, it was pretty dead inside. We were skeptical but decided to try it anyway. What we ordered: –Banh Beo: this is a popular Vietnamese dish. steamed flour pancakes topped with dried shrimp and fried shallots. Presentation wise, it looked ok, taste and texture, not good. The rice flour cakes were made way too thick and it became a weird hard but soft texture. I was expecting it to be thin and soft. Extremely disappointed on how this came out. You get a total of 15 pieces and my sister and I even had left overs, we usually fight over the last one. –Banh Cuon Nham Thit + Thanh Tri: or the #2 on their«Main Course» menu. Both my sister and I got this dish. The banh cuon that’s filled with meat was decent. I didn’t touch the plain banh cuon it just wasn’t great. The egg rolls were extremely oily, they basically quarter a full eggroll. I ate one piece and left the rest. The bean sprout cake, also wasn’t great either. By the time we left, I basically had a full meal left. So why 2 stars, the service. The service was pretty decent for a Vietnamese restaurant. Would I come back, maybe. I guess I can give this place another chance.

We eat out a lot, but I hardly do reviews. This time I feels the need so that others do not make the same mistake. This was my first time eating here and bun rieu is usually my favorite. A friend told us about this place. They were planning to eat Banh Cung there and said this place has bun rieu on the menu so I figured I’ll try it and we ordered it to go to bring home. I’m sorry but this place has got to be the worst place I’ve eaten for bun rieu. First off, the broth looked too«orange» to be freshly made. It did not even remotely taste like real, authentic bun rieu. I’m guessing they use those instant powdered«flavored» bun rieu seasoning to make their broth. It was pretty bad. I usually cook bun rieu so I know what real bun rieu cooking taste like, this was so sodium based and artificial. This is so not right, charging customers for powder base cooking, we could do that at home too. Second, I tasted the«meatball» like rieu pieces(3) they had. Oh my goodness, it was gross and horrible. It tasted like spoiled food. I had to spit it out because it was inedible. Seemed like they served old and spoiled rieu. I was a bit upset and felt ripped off. Of course all I could do was throw it out. I don’t know how their other food item taste like, but their bun rieu is NOT bun rieu and they’re serving powered flavored broth. They should not even have this on the menu if they’re not really cooking it for«real». If you like bun rieu then this is not the place for you. These people do not know how to cook this course and will serve you powdered flavor and seasoning which taste really bad.

Okay customer service and okay food. I prefer the ones without the meat. Their nuoc mam is good. They are very nice people. I work nearby so I had banh quon here more than once.

My parents and now my go to place for banh cuon! Too bad they always close so early bc I can’t get my late night craving fix from here! I usually get a few pounds or more ordered to go early for pick up to bring to my parents in LA. If you do come here, don’t forget to get the boy bean pandan with mung bean drink— BOOOOMB!!! I like it better than 7 leaves! And, it’s cheaper! lol The customer service here is always great! Just try to come early bc this place can get busy and they close early, too! But I will be back! THANKS!

Greatest banh cuon I’ve ever had, took it to another level I thought that banh cuon was boring and parents force their kids to eat cold or old banh cuon.

It’s inside of a shopping plaza so it’s a bit difficult to find. They make these noodle wraps with either pork or shrimp. I had both and enjoyed the pork over the shrimp. No Phở here.

My togo order review: Normally I go to Tan Hoang Huong for my banh cuon but after viewing pictures on my friend’s fb wall, I decided to give it a try. First of all, their prices are a bit cheaper than Tan Hoang Huong & some other places but cash only. Secondly, their banh cuon is thinner than other places’ & there are blackpepper on their banh cuon nhan thit. It spices up the taste for some people but others might not like it. They don’t include bean sprouts like Tan Hoang Huong Lastly, it’s near by my house, fast service & friendly atmostphere. I like the restaurant decoration & the service overall.

You know that friend you love, but who never returns your phone calls? It’s time to take that person off speed-dial and replace that slot with Banh Cuon Luu Luyen’s digits. I am not kidding. Eating in is great, but I also call in to-go orders all the time here. It’s fast, pleasant, convenient, but most of all, consistently DE-FRIGGIN-LICIOUS. Everything is well-packed, and nothing spills in the car. I especially love the perfectly fried onion pieces that garnish these excellent banh cuon; they offer a very lovely texture contrast and additional burst of flavor. Also, you have to applaud the their deliciousness despite the fact that they are VERYMINIMALLYGREASY. This is a very big deal! Seriously, guys, I get more transfer of oil from touching my forehead on a hot day than from touching these amazing banh cuon on my plate. Other places make very thick banh cuon, or very oily ones, but you will NOT find any of that nonsense here. The skill in making thin banh cuon is a delicate craft, which Banh Cuon Luu Luyen has obviously mastered, much to everybody’s benefit. There is no better banh cuon in all of Bolsa.

My mom saw this restaurant’s advertisement on the VN channel and she wanted to check it out because she loves supporting new businesses. We went for lunch on a Sunday. The location is very hidden, it is in Diamond Plaza but not really because the parking lot is closed off from Diamond Plaza. And the surrounding businesses aren’t restaurants but other stuff like a cosmetic school and insurance company so it doesn’t really draw people here. But once you find the place, parking is very easy to find. And there was no wait for a table. The ambiance was very quiet and they had a TV showing the world cup games. I got the #1 and my mom got the #4. The #1 is pretty much a combination of everything for banh cuon, the ground beef, shrimp, tofu, pork, etc… it was a huge plate and I couldn’t finish(it was my first meal of the day, too). We also order some food to go and it came out while we were eating so we didn’t have to wait extra or anything. The total for 5 orders of banh cuon came out to about $ 32, which is a really good deal, considering the amount of food they gave me for 1 order. Their hot green tea was yummy, too! Everything is clean and the bathroom was clean, too. I would definitely come back!

So much better than their big name competitors! Banh cuon is one of my favorite foods so I was really excited to discover Luu Luyen. I was one of the first persons in the restaurant during lunch hours but it filled up quickly after I sat down. I got the«dac biet»(a little bit of everything) and the serving size did not disappoint. The flavors were great and all of the ingredients tasted fresh. Really one of the best banh cuon restaurants I’ve been to. Service was friendly and efficient. I really look forward to coming back and trying out more of the dishes. I’m docking one star because the restaurant is really hard to find. It’s in a plaza with various other businesses. However, parking is ample.
