I received a free facial coupon since I get instyle magazine sent to my house. I called to set up an appointment for my mother & I. One facial is free (with the coupon) and the other is free if you make a $ 20 donation, not bad at all.
We arrive and are greeted by the young woman who set up the appointments for us. The store is very nicely decorated and there is a large selection of products for any and every issue that could possibly be wrong with ones skin.
Another woman begins my mothers facial. She asked her what issues she has with her skin. She explains that she has dark spots. She begins the facial as the masks sits she gives her a massage. For the second part of the facial she uses the enbrightenment system (for the dark spots). Also they do their facials in the front of the store not in a private back area just a heads up in case that will bother you.
Overall, the customer service was Excellent. We will surely be returning.

Aveda is much like Origins or Whole Foods – it’s for specific products but has a very zen-​yoga-​rainforest vibe. The sales woman was cheerful and knowledgable. She greeted me as soon as I walked in. As I dug out the postcard I’d received in the mail, she called out Happy Birthday! and brought me over to a table to go through essential oils to create my FREE birthday gift.
Something free from Aveda is no small deal. Their shit is expensive!
While I sat with my experiment, two women were getting advice on facial scrubs. The Aveda Gal was explaining that if you use St. Ives scrub, it creates tiny tears in your skin because the scrub doesn’t dissolve. The product that Aveda sells is like 45 bucks. And that’s why I slowly rip my face off with St. Ives.
But as for the birthday gift, I could choose from lotion, body wash, massage oil, bath salts, or perfume. I got a lotion. In a large bottle. She mixed the oil and lotion right there in front of me. It smells delish and it feels smooth and not oily.
So on the plus side: great service, great products with healthy ingredients, everything smells so yummy
On the minus side: expensive, EXCEPT when you get FREE stuff!

Shocked that 2 reviews* already existed for this joint, I checked in and scooped up a free sample at this spot. The extremely friendly staff likely attributed to this; with no gripes, I gotz no reason to knock ‘em down a peg.
*A 5 in a mall & no LI orangeheads (not to beconfused with Jersey meatheads).

Came here with my girlfriend to claim our birthday gifts from aveda and some free samples as well.
The sales person, Sonia, was very helpful. She sat us down, gave us some exfoliating salt for our hands and showed us different products we could use for our hair. I wasn’t planning on buying anything, but Sonia showed me some styling wax/​gel for my hair that wasn’t sticky, and brought some.
They are always kind and helpful when ever we visit here.
