I was excited about this store opening inside Roosevelt Field Mall until I actually went inside the store for the first time. My customer service experience at this location was terrible! I went in yesterday(02/10/2016) around 6 – 8PM. There were two girls and one boy working at this time. The whole time I was inside the store(mind you I was the only customer) they were busy talking nonsense by the mirror as well as busy applying makeup on themselves and one another. They did not bother once to ask me if I needed helped let alone acknowledge my presence. Did I mention I was the ONLY customer in the very small store? I actually came in with a list of 8 products I wanted to try out. I was able to find a couple on my own and add them to my basket but was unable to find the others. The employees could clearly see this but did anyone bother to ask if I needed assistance? Nope! They clearly get paid for standing around, gossiping with one another as they try on ELF products in the mirror on their own faces as opposed to the assisting a customer. I was so upset at their behavior I just left the basket I had products in at the store and walked out. I will not be returning here again. Unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. I hardly leave reviews on Unilocal but this experience was horrible.

I have never seen a stand alone E.L.F Store! I love this stuff, it’s cheap and it works pretty good. Doesn’t get any better than that. I picked up a large brush and a nice palate for $ 20.

During my first visit, I bought a couple things and had a good experience. However when I went to return the unopened eyeliner the next day, the customer service representative was very rude. She immediately accused me of opening the product and saying I can’t return open products even though I said I didn’t use it at all. She just gave me a condescending smirk as if I was lying to her. I only bought the eyeliner because of a recommendation but I realized I had mistakened it for a another brand when I checked later that day. To me, it was pretty obvious that it wasn’t opened. Especially since the other two products that I actually did open, I had to rip the package apart because it was hard not to. So if you plan on returning any cosmetics that are unopened be prepared to be scrutinized here.

YES! ELF has a store in Roosevelt Field Mall. If you like make up you don’t have to worry about blowing your budget at Sephora or Mac anymore! ELF stands for eyes, lips, face and also cheap but good make up! You can find ELF in various stores like K-Mart and big lots but this is the first stand alone ELF store I’ve noticed and I’m excited for it! I got a box of ten nail polishes, a lip brush, lip exfoliator and a small to go pallet for my friend for $ 22. They have pallets of 144 eye shadows for under $ 20. Besides buying a make up kit at Ulta I don’t think you’re going to get a better deal elsewhere. They even sell make up tool belts for professional make up artists. This is a must go to place for any girl or woman who would like some beauty on an extreme shoestring budget. You get quality make up for a very reasonable price!
