We used to enjoy staying here but it has gone waaaay downhill. Our room was dirty and dingy and the overgrown shrubs outside distracted from the partial view of the ocean. The gate thing on our door was broken and that was annoying. The laundry facilities were not in working order. They charged $ 10 to park. They no longer serve breakfast which is one of the reasons we enjoyed staying there. Pluses are that it’s cheap and within walking distance of walmart, the beach and Golden Corral restaurant. Unfortunately we probably won’t be staying there again.

We’ve stayed here 4 times for an annual weekend party. If it wasn’t for this party and the special rates we get, this would not be a venue I work recommend or stay for a vacation. I’ve read some of the other reviews and would add that much of the property us is in disrepair. It is close to the beach, however, this is not one the best beaches on the gulf. With the tanker traffic in and out of the ports the water is dirty and so is the beach. The kitchen mix small and sparsely equipped. We had 4 plastic drinking glasses and one was cracked. Had 2 knives. Neither was serviceable. Furniture is old and antiquated. Pool areas are in reasonable shape. Frig is small and it has a 2 burner range and no oven. Bathroom could use renovation. TV in bedroom is flat on the wall and viewing from the bed is at a 160 degree angle. Really not functional for viewing. The elevators are dirty and the walkways to the condos is on need of repair. Recommend that you seriously consider other properties before selecting this one. Not a good value I stay at a condo on the beach in Siesta Key Florida each year for half the price of this place and Siesta Key us the #1 beach in the country.

The location of this condotel is perfect! It is right by the beach! Wal-Mart is walking distance so if you need stuff it is so near! The price u pay for this unit is the same price you would pay a regular hotel least here u have a kitchen, fridge, microwave. It is not a luxury hotel so If u want luxury go down the road and pay the extra hundred dollars difference to demand the luxuries that u need. The furniture is old but who cares? I’m here for the beach! This place is practical for a family with kids. Balcony has a great view too! I just wish the pools opened earlier and closed later. Will definitely come back again!

On the outside, this«hotel» is quite beautiful, with nice architecture and an overall nice atmosphere. It is in a great location, right on the beach. BUT the outside looks are very deceiving. My family and I came to stay here after winning a free 2-night stay at a «luxury, well-known resort». And all I can say is, resort should most definitely NOT be in the description. The floors are cracked and old and seem to need a cleaning/be completely redone. The elevator is ancient, and there are these metal gates in front of every door that make the«resort» look more like a done-up prison. Their 6-person rooms are absolutely tiny. I would say they’re about 2 times the size of a cruise ship room. There’s only one bathroom, one bedroom, and then 2 bunk beds and a sofa couch that are all very small. It is pretty tight for space, and the decorations leave much to be desired; all the furniture looks very, very old and make me question the cleanliness. I don’t think the hotel is in disrepair or anything(which is why this is 2 instead of 1 star), but renovations are most definitely needed. Tl;dr: Do not judge a «resort» by it’s cover.

Was booked by an independent company. There are several groups who rent condos out here so every one is different. My review is for the condo unit, not the company who shall remain nameless. We enjoyed our stay at the Victorian. In general it is very centrally located to everything important. It’s right on the beach, there is a big Wal-Mart next door for shopping, It’s a short drive to other beaches, attractions etc. I admit I was put off by the metal gate on the door. Give it a seedy look — but they are on the inside where you don’t see them on the street. Once inside though, the condo was what one would expect. Had good living space and kitchen space, but the bathroom and bedroom are super small. The company that booked us had done a great job remodeling it and everything was great. One thing I will mention is that the bedroom was very bright even with shades and a curtain because of hallway lighting. For a light sleeper like me that is a problem. Check-in was fast and easy. Wifi worked in a snap, no problems. Could use more handicapped parking. I would happily stay here again if I can book through the same company.

We were booked here by Silver Leaf. From the outside the Victorian looks very nice. Check in went well. Once we got to the room, we found the entry with a metal gate. The door was hard to open and close cause it drug the floor and door jam. Room was clean but smelled musty. Once we unpacked and started to shower, we found that the AC drain drained right into the tub. The kitchen did have pots and pans if you wanted to cook. The bed was terrible! Old and we fell into the middle. Felt like I needed a rope to pull myself up out of it. The bunk beds were coming apart. The WIFI was nonexistent. I will NEVER stay here again.

Our stay at the Victorian was very pleasant. The amenities there are nice: 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, tennis court, barbecue grills, nice common areas. The staff is friendly and helpful and no one can complain about being right by the beach! I wish that the pools were open a little later(10 pm is when they currently close. although that might be changing to 11 within the next few weeks from what I heard). Plus being next to Walmart makes grocery shopping for your condo pretty convenient!
