the staff at this location in galveston have never disappointed. they go out of their way to help… and offer suggestions but, yet don’t bug you or impose.
i have bought many items from pier 1 over the years all from houston locations… home accessories, furniture – ratan hutch, dinning glass top table.
all of which have lasted the test of time.
since living here in galveston the last 3 years, ive been getting new home accessories… a one of a kind bohemian lamp [see photo]
in march 2016, im going to buy the carmen couch in ecru [off white] — its on SALE— $ 899 to $ 799. [photo upon purchase]
BONUS and FYI — when you open up credit… you get $ 10 [in store cash] for every $ 100 you spend — SCORE! so, guess what i did?!!

Andrew is a wonderful employee! I came in looking for a wall clock that I saw online and it mentioned they had it in this location. Andrew checked the system and it did mention they had 3, so he started looking around. He must’ve been looking for nearly 20 minutes. For all eternity, he couldn’t find it, so he thought that maybe even though the system recognizes that they have it, it might be broken and towed away.
I wanted it as a mother’s day gift so he assisted me in ordering it directly through their computer which gives me free shipping. I had some other complications (specifically, I just moved to La Marque and our address is basically non-​existent, so I wanted it delivered to this Pier 1 location instead) that he worked around on. The shipment arrived later than he expected, but still came before mother’s day.
What a helpful employee! Some others wouldn’t have even bothered to look more than once if they couldn’t find a specific item through this wiiiiide store.
And as for storewise, this place looks like it’s getting smaller since they have so many things in stock. It does make for a fun time to look through and shop.

Ask for Ray… Great taste, stay on budget. Refrersing to encounter real customer service. They are open late, the HANGING CHAIRS take me back to r the Seventies !!
