Walked in on a spur decision to get a tattoo. It was my first one and not anything big, but I was anxious! The guys here made my nerves totally go away and put up with my constant questions and over thinking. I’m sure I should have annoyed them because I was annoying myself! But they were WONDERFUL. Joe did my tattoo and it’s great. The setting is clean and the atmosphere is fun! Highly recommend Aasylum for anything you could possibly want!

I was on a girls weekend with a friend and made an appt here to get matching bff tattoos. These guys were straight up awesome… my friend was super picky and anxious and she was even annoying ME lol but they NEVER made us feel like we were being annoying or silly or stupid. We brought our idea and the artist sketched it out (really wish I could remember his name bc he was awesome and SO patient with my friend! He’s doing his apprenticeship at the shop) and kept working on it till it was perfect. Joe tattooed us and was hilarious… he kept it real and answered all of our questions (and we had a million) and was just a huge sweetheart even though he looks like he could kick your a**!!! The whole experience could not have been better and I just love my tattoo! Highly recommend!

Staff was friendly and very professional.
My work was done by a gentleman named profit. He looked at what I wanted and made it better. Excellent work, a true artist.
Prices are very reasonable.
I will travel the 4 hours back down here for my next tat.

Don’t pay attention to the one star! Aassylum Tattoo is the only place I’ll get tattooed. Mel and CK do superior work, I will say, based on the work of other artists in the shop they are all five star. I cannot stress how professional and all around awesome this shop is. If you want or need any body art done COME HERE!!! If you’re curious then just stop in.

Be very careful at this shop, got my daughter a naval piercing here while on vacation and should have known better when the girl came in from smoking and was being very rude, plus she didn’t even bother to wash her hands before gloving up, then she used an eyebrow piercing for the belly button jewelry. Had to go to a professional shop outside of Austin to have this removed and the proper one put in its place. To far away to demand refund.
