The severs had me so stressed out I didn’t know if I could stand to stay and eat! They were visibly arguing, rolling their eyes… Not sure what’s up but it was extremely uncomfortable! They were polite to me, and the food was good, but my experience was tainted by the feud going on behind the bar!

Website showed hours until 7:00PM. Showed up at 6:10 on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, only to be told that they closed at 6.00. If you plan on giving this place a try, I would confirm their hours before you make the effort.

Finally got a chance to try this place i had bookmarked a while back. I get to galveston fairly regularly and this will certainly be one of my go to places. I had the noodle salad, my husband the smoked chicken salad. These were absolutely great. All the food i saw go by was super looking and this is the point of this review… everything here is clean tidy well thought out and beautifully executed. I cant wait to go back here and try the soups sandwiches… though the noodle salad thingy was so terrific, just dont know . Bread btw very good and toasted served with butter flavored. Thanks to the waitstaff for helping me decide and given a chance to choose the prickly pear tea, say yes

Anyone else feel like the veggie sandwiches(can’t comment on the meat) are empty? Like one pepper and one piece of tiny tofu or one thin slice of eggplant… where’s the rest? I’m left with bread and a hint of other flavor. Put more in there please because what is there is delicious! Salads are great, soup is great, iced tea is great! Just make the sandwiches with a little more filling!

We had the turkey sandwich with chipotle cream and the eggplant panini. Both were excellent! We also had the prickles pear ice tea which was also very good!

They have lots of vegetarian and vegan soups, salads, and sandwiches. The service is good and the food is filling. The only cons: The place is sort of small and the food is a bit pricey in my opinion. Expect to spend $ 9ish dollars on a sandwich with a side salad.

The interior is trendy, quiet and clean; the wait staff is very friendly. The food is pretty common tasting, nothing to write home about. The salad was sour so we asked for chips instead and the obliged. Sandwiches we had: Cuban, Turkey with Bacon and white cheddar, hot and cheese. The bread is crisp and similar to croutons. The whole meal for my family of 3 cost $ 30 not including tip and I felt this was not a very good evaluation as we left still hungry. If you are looking for a cute and hip place with cutesy and hip food this is your spot. If you’re looking for dive in make your taste buds sing and an atmosphere to match this is not the place for you.

This place is a absolute gem. When in Galveston EATHERE. I am confident you’ll be pleased. Sundried tomato spread: outstanding! Filled with flavor. Greek feta, roasted red peppers, tomatoes, cucumber & olives and the vinaigrette: outstanding! Sitting here salivating just thinking about how delicious this salad was. Service: outstanding! All smiles with a genuine desire to make your visit a good one. Prices: a bit little high. I’ll chalk it up to the gourmet ingredients Location: very odd. Says the visitor of one hour, in the middle of the day, during the week.

The restaurant is quaint and the wait staff is friendly, but the place is very tiny and seems to stay busy so keep that in mind if you have more than 2 people in your party. The food was just, okay. We ordered the black bean soup which tasted more like chili and I ordered the chicken and sun dried tomato panini which was okay but I wasn’t impressed by it and wondered if I would have been happy ordering another sandwich.

Overall I was extremely satisfied… My mom & I had just come from the beach & this was one of the higher rated places near us with vegan options. Really cute interior, fairly small but that’s expected in a joint like that. Super friendly, helpful & knowledgeable staff. Being vegan it was nice to see meat substitutions in some of the plates.

WOWWOWWOW. I just had the best sandwich of my life: the Thai beef and radish. Perfect in every way. I also had the chocolate mouse, tri color. Simply phenomenal. The service was over the top. Go here if you can.

Visiting Galveston and was interested in trying this place. It did not disappoint, the sandwich on a gluten free bagel was very tasty and perfectly toasted. Very contemporary and still cozy atmosphere. Loved it.

Came here for Saturday lunch: black Angus roast beef salad with Thai peanut dressing for me & grilled chicken panini for hubby. Great presentation, panini good, salad could use another element of crunchiness besides the tomato(maybe pear, apple, or pickled daikon radish). Staff was friendly & attentive. Clean & fresh décor. Would come here again to try other dishes.

Everything is good here. I got the ratatouille panini. Excellent! Also love the little toasts with blue cheese spread that they serve as an appetizer. A very welcome change of pace from the fried seafood fare that pervades the island. There are vegan choices if you prefer. The atmosphere is classy and servers are great.

We are vegans. The food was absolutely delicious. There are a few vegan substitutions you can do on the sandwiches. They were both awesome. Both soups of the day(Tomato Fennel and Sweet Potato) were vegan and delicious. The staff was very knowledgable and warm. The building is an old building… it has modern remodeling that keeps the integrity of the original structure. It’s just beautiful. It’s calm and warm and comforting and clean and modern all at once. And the food was probably one of the best vegan meals I’ve ever had out. We stayed in Galveston for only 2 days and ate almost every meal here or with their take out. Unbelievable. Vegans/Vegetarians: you need to come here if you’re in Galveston!

We came here for lunch after a walk on the beach. Loved the environment and then service was great. They’re so friendly. The food was PERFECT. I had the smoked salmon salad and the flavors were absolutely beautiful. The dressing was delicious. I felt healthy and satisfied which is hard to feel in a small beach town. Definitely will go back.

I came here for lunch with a coworker and immediately remembered being here for lunch a couple of years ago. It’s a small, quaint little place with a varied menu of sandwiches, paninis, and salads. My coworker told me, which I remembered, that the sandwiches and paninis are mostly bread with little filling, so we each ordered a salad. He got a fancy kale salad and I got the sobu, which was arugula, noodles, seared tofu, carrots, and snap peas with a ginger miso dressing. It takes awhile for the food to arrive, so beware. While we were waiting, our server brought us some toasted bread with a blue cheese cream cheese dressing, which was good. The presentation is beautiful, but the salads are small for the price($ 10) and hard to eat. My salad was more noodle than salad, which was disappointing. Our server was nice, so there’s that. I just wasn’t really impressed and I remember having the same thought the last time I was there. But the place was clean, and the food was fresh and healthy, so it gets an extra star for that.

Super cute little spot. They brought out some little crustini type bread with a delicious bleu cheese butter spread. Delicious. The tomato soup with sour cream was super yummy and very thick. I ordered the ahi tuna salad. The ahi tuna tasted very fresh & basically melted in my mouth. At first I ordered the prickly pear iced tea and although several of my lunch companions liked it I didn’t enjoy it. The regular iced tea was much better in my opinion. I really liked how cute this place was. They seem to have a good attention to detail. Our servers were very friendly and made sure to keep all of our drinks full.

Wow! Cowabunga dude! Amazing! I was walking around searching on Unilocal.i wanted a sammie and something fresh! I hit the jackpot on this cute little gem. I sat at the bar because I was having a «me» day and I was greeted by all the smiley faces that work there… The menu is a great size and offers a ton of different things. Fresh ingredients is always a plus to me! If I had more people with me… i so would of ordered a ton of different things to share. I got a complimentary appetizers, Bleu cheese spread on little mini baguettes! Super yummy! Now let’s get to this beast of a sammie! Thai Beef, Carrots & Daikon Radish : W/cucumber, Sriracha mayo, cilantro & sesame dressing Kettle Chips were super dope! It is served on Cuban bread and a side of kettle chips(made in house) or side salad. You can have this sandwich on a Gluten free Bagel as well. Also if you are Vegan you can get marinated tofu and soy mayo! I literally could not stop or put this sandwich of amazinginess down. I believe the owner was there and I as she walked by I told her! She was very pleased! Try the foodies from here! You will not be disappointed! Amazing staff and super cute! Have a glass of wine and chill out from busy Galveston! Monday — Saturday 11am to 7pm
