Okay I just visited this week. Besides the fantastic views, I really enjoyed my meal. I had the special. It was fried flounder(I usually get blacken) on top of a bed of grilled vegetables and dirty rice. It was extremely good. I will return. The crab balls and Bloody Marys are great also and don’t forget the french fries my favorite; they do something special with them. They were crispy on the outside and so tender on the inside addicting. Yes, we did have to order at the counter but after that our waitress brought our food to us and also checked on us so I think they’re getting away from that total do-it-yourself format. Everybody was very friendly and accommodating. So relaxing.

The view was excellent nothing like eating in the open air with the gulf breeze blowing on you. Not sure what happened but shortly after putting our order in the waitress came back and asked us to remind her of our food order. When the drinks finally came they were completely wrong. We sent them back. Finally 45 min after sitting we finally got our correct drinks followed within 5 min by our food. The food was good and so were the drinks but the bar and wait staff seemed a little frazzled.

Hey y’all, if you want to have the best experience in your life, go to this place, I had a goat salad and it was the best, we ordered crab balls for the appetizer and they were not fishy but fresh and flavorful, will be back tomorrow! Shot out to the friendliest server Alex W

As noted previously, Jimmys is on the west end of Seawall, almost to the Miniture Golf place. We ate inside here June 11, 2016 and enjoyed the breeze and casual vibe. Food was tasty, I had the turkey burger, but for some reason didn’t settle well on my tummy??? I had a Mojito that was a bit underwhelming. A true Mojito, has almost ½ a glass of spearmint(this had a third of mint) and was not very strong, tasted ‘watered down’. Drink was $ 10. I would’ve gotten a much cheaper beer if I didn’t detest the taste so much, but so it goes, it’s all good. I’d bypass the mixed drinks… but food and location are great. Fun fact: bring your restaurant receipt ‘downstairs’, give to the Pier gift store cashier, and you can enjoy a complementary stroll along the long… pier. Saturday Night had a full deck of folks tryin’ their luck for fish: D

DONOTEATHERE… The restaurant is infested with roaches and they still expect you to pay for the food after roaches crawled into my plate!!! Heck no!!!

Shrimp and Oyster plate was very good, as were the grilled chicken plate and the fried fish plate. All the vegetables were extremely fresh and tasted great. My 2 complaints were: — The Onion Rings just weren’t very good in my opinion(maybe they’re better fresh at the restaurant) — I placed our order for carryout and part of our order was calamari. When I picked it up however, the calamari wasn’t ready and we were told it would be 30 minutes until it was ready. So, we cancelled that off our order(pretty disappointing). However, when we received all of the other food, it was all lukewarm at best. I don’t understand how you can miss the first thing on the order but have everything else get cooked early and then not kept warm. Overall, the food was really good, the management of it just lacked a bit.

First of all the interior is clean and beachy-feeling which was nice. Great view of the gulf and fairly attentive waitstaff. Being a vegan, I ordered the bean burger, but to my disappointment, I was told they were out of the bean patty. What I wound up with was a big green salad with cranberries and walnuts which was a generous portion and the greens were very fresh. It was $ 8 and was good but not memorable. My husband ordered the fish tacos fried and rated them a 3.5÷5. French fries were a little odd and not very crispy. We left satisfied and would possibly return to give it another shot.

Jimmy’s is a little further down the seawall from the pleasure pier, hotels, etc. And that’s a good thing. There is a fishing pier and gift shop but the food is why we come. We’ve been about 5 – 6 times and never had a bad meal. Sometimes they have specials like the seafood stuffed pablano pepper I had a few months back. I asked for it this time but they didn’t have the ingredients. Oh well… They always have fresh fish and that’s what I ended up getting. I had the red fish with rice and dry slaw. The dry slaw was just as it sounds. Coleslaw without the mayo and vinegar. It looked a little odd but with the fish it really was amazing. I asked for the fish to be blackened so the cool crisp cabbage paired perfectly. The rice was cooked well and had good flavor but the fish was the star of this show for sure. Mama had fish tacos with rice and beans. Again fresh fresh fish cooked perfectly and what appeared to be house made tortillas. Bonus on this one is that there is sausage in the beans. Andouille me thinks. Very good dish but mine was better Nice view, cold drinks, and great food. Perfect spot for an island lunch or dinner. Thanks Jimmy’s!

Gave this place 5 stars in the past, but the prices now are outrageous and the food quality hasn’t improved. I’m sad to report this because I really enjoyed this place every previous visit.

The only good thing about this place is the view. The food is very average and over priced and the service is terrible. Our waitress was very rude and pretty much only saw her when she brought the food. Since we had a group of 7, gratuity was included so she didn’t feel the need to ever check on us or give good customer service. We had to go up and refill our own drinks ever single time and she even looked at us and didn’t say a word. Not to mention, when we left(of course the exit is through a gift shop) we wanted to walk on the pier and we got very rudely yelled at because apparently you need a ticket. Paying 150 $ for the meal doesn’t grant you access to the pier. Def won’t be returning.

Amazing view! I had a large party and the restaurant accomudated us well thank you guys. The waitress was nice and got everyones order right. The reason I don’t give it five stars, the burger tasted dry. But it was worth it and Id return.

Come here for the view, the food is okay. This place has a full bar and a great view of the gulf. Come here about 30 minutes before sunset. Customers of the the restaurant receive free wristbands to walk the fishing pier. Burgers were large and juicy. The bacon and avocado burger hit the spot. Carnitas were also good.

Once through the gift shop and up the stairs we were treated with a panoramic view of the gulf with the added interest of the fishing pier. Because of the wind we chose to eat in the semi-enclosed portion rather than out on the deck. The prices are reasonable, but keep in mind you’re also paying for the view. My wife and I both ordered hamburgers which were cooked medium well instead of medium as we asked, but they were still juicy, meaty and flavorful. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft and light inside. Many of the menu items are sourced locally. Great place to enjoy the sea breezes and good food.

No crowd today, but it was cloudy and cooler. Got right in. Service was a bit slow to begin with; took a while for drink refills. Food was good. They had a slightly different take on normal burgers(different spices) and they make a lot of things there locally. One thing to note. Be careful where you park. We parked a bit too far down and realized on the way back to the car that we were in the town’s paid parking area but luckily hadn’t gotten a ticket.

Cool factor is the balcony overlooking the actual pier. Great view while having a brew or cocktail. The thing is that’s a dive. So expect that and be OK with it. Standard beers. quickly mixed juice based cocktails. I appreciated the late night hours.

Not entirely impressed. Clam chowder was good, service was horrible. The fried pickles were good, my husbands Burger was dry and overdone. I ordered the fish of the day and it was ok. When my meal came, i got no silverware. Had to chase my waiter down for a set. Didn’t feel welcomed.

food is great! Small menu with burgers tacos and fun appetizers I loved/tasted the Greek lamb burger will definitely come back for one again, the tacos barley had 3 little pieces of meat in each one. for paying 10 $ for 2 tacos you’d expect a decent about of meat, but not here. Try something else on the menu instead(: Atmosphere is so cute, I love the soda selection they have. Wait time for the food isn’t long Friendly staff **but use the restroom somewhere else before coming, the restroom was unacceptable. Toilet paper and paper towels on the floor and sink. Toilet dirty. Sink is filthy. Had to go to wait till I got back to my hotel to use the restroom. **

Sweet spot! C’est vraiment cool comme endroit. Je recommande la pêche du jour qui est exceptionnelle! La terrasse est calme bien que la route soit proche. Le service est agréable, pas formel, plutôt décontracté. Les gens sont sympathiques.

Today is my first time here and I love it… it’s always relaxing to come out to the beach and fish. Everyone is so friendly here including staff. We even had a little boy approach us and give us a fish. Very generous people… they have a small shop with a restaurant to dine for lunch or breakfast. I’ll have to update my review once I experience the food here. It’s 12.00 per person to enter the pier to fish. The ticket is good until 5 am… if you plan on taking vacation it’s a great way to fish all night long. They have restrooms too.

Don’t know what the negative reviews experienced, but mine was fabulous. 4 stars because we had to pay for parking. Not so bad for $ 2 for two hours, but it was a hassle to pay by phone. Had the bacon chicken philly cheesesteak & the fries. Was very tasty. Big enough for two if you’re not a big portions eater. I’d come back again.
