One of the BEST ways to spend your time in Galveston. If you’re not into fishing, it’s still worth a walk out onto the (very long) pier. I’ve spotted sea turtles and dolphins multiple times. Hold on to your hat, though it’s usually very windy! Fishing gear available for sale or rent in the general store downstairs.

It’s not worth going fishing here, because too many people, pay is high. People cut lines, the catch of the day is only few here and their. You will be their whole night or day to catch one large fish. Forecast of catching fish is incorrect, one out of 20 people might get lucky. I would not even give them one star, but I had to write a review. I will not pay to go fish at this pier ever again. Not worth it. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL
