Checked out menu prices on Unilocal and then call to place an order. Be advised that menu prices on Unilocal are incorrect once I called the store they advised me that those prices are incorrect and more than what is stated. Site definitely needs some updating

Great food at a great value. This place is small and can get slammed so the wait can be very long, which may include waiting once you actually get a table. Best pizza in town.

My girlfriend and I had the vegetarian pizza with a side salad. The delivery took over an hour, and we were not even a mile away. The pizza is interesting — it has fried tofu, which I have not seen on pizza before. To my surprise, it tastes great and adds a little more substance than your average veggie pizza. They pile on the onions and mushrooms, which is fine, but they did not put enough sauce. The crust tastes unusual, but it did not effect the overall quality of the pizza. The side salad is puny and pathetic — one slice of tomato and two onions with a couple of handfuls of iceberg lettuce. If the delivery time improves and the sides get better, this place would have my vote.

Recommended by a relative. Had Grandchildren who wanted pizza so we went. Ordered two Medium Pizzas, one Cheese, one half Pepperoni and one half Sausage. I ordered a Kid’s or Senior sized Spaghetti and Meatball Entrée. I asked if Meatballs were Homemade and the waiter said yes, in house. The Pizza came, the Cheese was inhaled. I tasted it, OK… nothing spectacular. The Sausage was not the traditional crumbled type Sausage, but slices of meat. Needless to say, the one who ordered that half, wouldn’t touch it. Pepperoni was finished off by the Grandchild who ordered the Pepperoni. My Spaghetti and Meatballs were lacking in sauce(really dry to amount of pasta), bland in flavor and Meatballs had a lot of filler to them; 3 of us tried them and all agreed. Wouldn’t return unless everything was closed and would order pizza as a last option. Wait staff was very attentive. We did ask them to seat us in the back. 4 under 9 years old and 3 of them boys, who each try and talk over the other. We werr informed tables were dirty, it would take time to clean, etc. etc… This restaurant had with us, 4 tables being served in the entire restaurant when we were dining. There was a party on the side of us, VERYSNOOTY family, and especially their teenaged Tabitha, who didn’t even speak to each other during their meal, but the Teenager made sure she made a comment about my Grandson(5 yrs old) being loud. He is hearing impaired, by the way so is particularly loud as a result. I informed them I asked not to be seated near them out of courtesy. Not a must to return.

I love the food here but was so disappointed with the service today. Went in at 5 after 12 and told the waitress we needed to be out by 1. Two of the three of us ordered from the lunch specials and I ordered a salad. Their food came and was finished before my salad arrived. I asked that it be boxed to go and it took the waitress 2 trips to accomplish this. I won’t quit eating here but never again when I only have an hour at lunch time. The only upside to this is I have the salad waiting for my dinner tonight.

My Bf and I came in looking to have a small lunch. We ordered a half cheese half pepperoni pizza. We started to notice that the owners we eating lunch in the middle of the restaurant. Besides shouting order to different workers they seamed to be conducting all business matter out in front of every one. One of the girl workers started cry because a dispute between another co worker. This went back in forth the entire lunch. If it wasn’t the girl crying it was a issues with the work schedule. I will say the food was good but I will not be going back.

Hey hey PIZZA! Talk about some good cheese. This place rocks. I’ve been going here for nearly eight years now anytime I come to Galveston. I was first introduced to Gino’s way back when after long day’s at the beach. This place is FULL of fresh pizza, pasta, and Italian flare. I’m talking allllll the good stuff. Not only is this place very reasonably priced, it’s MAGNIFICENT. Their pizzas are huge, and you can choose from their recipes or make your own pizza. They have plenty of pastas, and even sandwiches for those who choose to avoid the pizza. Because Gino’s is a little older, you can definitely tell by their building. It’s not gross or nasty by any means, but it definitely hasn’t been updated in quite sometime. They do have a patio, but it’s kind of small and crowded. I’ve seen Gino’s extremely busy, but I’ve also seen it dead quiet. So it really depends on the Galveston season. I think they’re obviously a lot busier in the summer due to the beach season. One of my favorite aspects of Gino’s is the staff. They have never been short from friendly! Always smiling, greeting, and making sure all needs are met. It truly feels like an authentic, family-owned establishment. Stop in and get yo self some CHEESE!

So-so. It is ok but my family prefers other pizza/pasta places. Price point good. Staff has always been great. We definitely prefer a couple of other restaurants that have better flavor and options.

Really good Italian food. Family business, everyone that works there is Italian. good lunch specials and really good dinner(if you’re not sure what you want they are happy to go through the menu and recommend something). Delicious pizza. I would highly recommend.

It’s Always surprising to find these small gems. Their chicken Alfredo is by far the best I’ve ever had. The sauce is rich and creamy, not to mention the flavor of the chicken. Be sure to come hungry, or order one dish for two. The mozzarella sticks were a hit to, with the house-made marinara. Service was A+, the waitresses were very polite and attentive.

I had a terrible experience at this place. I called in an order to pick up and the quoted me 40 minutes. I arrived after 45 minutes and they lost my order. The staff was disorganized, not knowledgable about the menu and the guy running the place was terrible. He looked at me and said, well we are busy. That is no excuse to provide slower than normal service and sloppy pizza. The crust was under cooked, the veggies were raw and cold and the was very little cheese on the pizza. I don’t understand the high reviews it just doesn’t jive with my experience. I will not go back.

On the first day of our visit, we had just checked into our hotel and didn’t feel like getting right back out there so we ordered a large pepperoni pizza from Gino’s. The person taking the phone order was friendly and accurate with our order. They gave us an estimate of 45 minutes for delivery and we got it in 40. The pizza was hot and tasted good. I would recommend this place for delivery if staying in the Galveston area. I can’t speak on the restaurant itself outside of delivery.

Good, but nothing spectacular or unique. Very cozy atmosphere that’s group and family friendly! My group of 6 stopped in for dinner before heading back to Moody Gardens for the Festival of Lights, and we ordered two large pizzas — one plain cheese, and one with pepperoni, mushrooms, and fresh tomatoes. The food took a while to arrive, but our waitress was really attentive so it was fine. Pizza wasn’t amazing, but the slices were large and the dough and crust were definitely the best part of the meal. It was a nice balance between thick and thin and was really fresh. Only complaint about pizzas is that the mushrooms were canned and I hate canned mushrooms so I was a bit grossed out. Besides that, the pizzas weren’t overly greasy or bad, just very ordinary tasting. Reminds me of food I would pick up in Union Station — quick, no fuss fast food. If I’m ever in the area and craving Italian, I’ll stop in and try a pasta dish.

Such greaaat food. I’ve been coming here to celebrate family birthdays. HUGE portions to keep you satisfied. The service is also great, nothing to complain about. Wide variety of the menu. Don’t like it with chicken? Look up and they probably have it with veal. Have the cannoli for dessert; it’s sweet, delicious and crunchy.

Delicious!!! I wish I lived in the area to became a regular this food will have you wanting to come back. I had the Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine which was so good I couldn’t eat the whole thing. I came with my grandparents and they also loved the food very much. I highly recommend this place for anyone who has a big appetite for some delicious Italian food.

I have been here several times and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have yet to be disappointed and the service has been wonderful. Also, I am pleased with the pizza delivery. Our pizza was delicious and it arrived here so fast!(We live on the other side of the island). It’s nice to have great service and great food.

Ok, here is the deal. I have lived in Galveston for 4 years and I am so pissed that I have never been to Gino’s. I’m also pissed that I went because now I have to have everything on the menu. BEST pizza in Galveston hands down! But looking at the 3 tables next to us, they all had the most unbelievable meatball sandwich I have ever seen. I have actually had dreams about that meatball sandwich,(what does that say about me?) I have read some comments about service. blah blah blah, the place is a small, family owned business and they deserve only the best comments. Our waitress was wonderful, nice, friendly and trying her damndest to provide great service. If you are in Galveston please don’t visit this place, because I don’t want to wait in a huge line to get a Meatball Sandwich in my BELLY!
