Galveston Island Palms Outdoor Events and Parties

I got married June 26, 2015 at Galveston island palms and I have to say it was everything my husband and I wanted… AND more! The owner, Kelly is who sold the place when we went to view the venue in January 2015. My husband and I live in Austin and our families live mainly in Houston and Gonzales so we decided a destination wedding worked well for us to be fair to make both families travel. At Galveston island Plams their motto is «we fill in where you forget» and they truly live up to that! Kelly is super friendly, sweet, informative on not only her venue but other vendors, and she’s professional. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does. I think the pricing of very fair and they really do start prepping for your event early! They work harder and longer then the time your event time slot is. If I had to have any complaints it would be the summer heat… But we knew what we were getting our selfs into haha. I would highly recommend the DIY bride or even someone who has vendors coming out. I loved that I could take their venue and turn it into my vision. If you look at the photos to their page you can see you can make it «yours» with your color and décor.

We had a family reunion here back in November. My uncle set it up so not sure what the prices are. It is centrally located near the main road and close to the beach. The place is well kept and the bathrooms were more like a home bathroom in a good way– than a public bathroom.
We had plenty of space to eat/​dance and stand around and the kiddos had fun with the huge grassy areas.
They have a music system we connected our ipod to and the speakers pumping. I think this is a great place for reunions, company picnic… etc…
