Very good place to eat. Waitress did a great job waiting on us. Food was delicious. No wait time. Sat outside on the patio. Overall was a nice evening and meal.

I visited Fisherman’s Wharf on the day after Christmas, and they were quite understaffed as it was a test trial for them. But, once I got a table, the server was beyond pleasant and did a great job managing our needs and expectations. The dinner was great, quality redfish and a reasonably large portion of it. The cole slaw and fries were both crisp and fresh. I didn’t order any drinks or dessert, but if they can do this good on a holiday weekend, I am sure it’s a fantastic place every other day!

Service was good and fast, but the food was a little bland and not up to my expectations.

With a group of 13 and was seated quickly and service was good. All food arrived correctly and at the same time. The food was great. If you are looking for a good place on the island to eat this is the place.

YES, YES, YES! Yes for great food! Yes for great service! Yes for fantastic atmosphere/view! I had the Bahama Mama drink to start which was quite refreshing. Had the clam chowder in bread bowl for appetizer. Reminds me a lot of Boudin Bakery back in San Francisco. For main meal, I had the Fish Market Platter. Absolutely amazing! Absolutely fresh! Do yourself a favor and skip Landry’s Seafood on the Seawall and head for the wharf. Owned by the same company anyways.

We visited June 12, 2016 and couldn’t have had a better experience. This is the restaurant that is right next door to the Texas Seaport Museum & Gift shop. The Elissa is stationed right behind this establishment. Fisherman’s Wharf is owned by Landry’s. Everything was great… the view, ambiance, the crab, the steak, the flounder sandwich and the waiter was on point! A lover of desserts, it is fun to see the different creations offered at different places. One of my fav places for a flourless chocolate cake is «Ruggle’s Green» in Houston. The dessert Chef at Fisherman’s Wharf deserves some serious applause! :) There was only one little thing, we were surprised to see here… We ordered the Chocolate Cake… with layers of MOISTcake, chocolate grenache, and cheese cake. The ‘little thing’ we didn’t care for was the«Cool Whip» piped on as the icing. The sliced almonds were great but couldn’t disquise the faux cream flavor. We were kind of surprised with the good ingredients already devoted to the dessert that«real whipped cream’ would also have been used. In my humble, dessert loving opinion, real whipped cream would have made this a 6 star dessert! But regardless, this dessert wins my 2nd favorite chocolate dessert title! Thanks Chefs!

Saw this on Unilocal and drove over for some seafood. We only had one chance and this was an outstanding choice. We sat outside and enjoyed the harbor view. We had the Salmon, Market Platter and the Lobsterman Fondue. Everything was awesome. Andy was our waiter and his service was excellent.

Came here with my husband and cousin during Memorial Day weekend and had about a 15 minute wait. Our waiter was on point and super friendly! The food was awesome!!! We started with a dozen fresh oysters and shrimp kisses(bacon wrapped shrimp). The oysters were fresh and the horseradish definitely had a kick to it! Good stuff! We ordered the stuffed flounder, blackened red fish, and a flounder sandwich which were all delicious. Everything was well seasoned and fresh. We sat outside on the porch overlooking the cruise ship. Ambiance was nice which made this a very enjoyable meal. We’ll definitely be back when we visit Galveston.

Amazing experience and amazing food. The first waiter, I think his name was Morgan, was very disappointing. We could tell he was not into working. Come to find out it was the end of his shift. He was replaced by Andrew. Andrew is a professional. He is very classy, personable and great at what he does. The food was amazing. I had the crab stuffed talapia, hubby had the seafood trio and my daughter had the crab cake. All were delicious. We even splurged and finished with key lime pie and chocolate sundae. If you don’t like birds do not eat outside. If I am ever back in the area I will return.

This place could’ve had five stars. Brandon was fantastic, the food was great, the bread pudding was a life experience but the fact that there was no espresso cost a whole start. he could’ve gone to Starbucks or silly G’s but was afraid for retaliation. — — – Revising my review, as this seems a bit cryptic. We arrived at a very busy time; there were two cruise ships departing very soon. The place was packed. Our party of seven had a modest wait, but the service in the bar was friendly and prompt. Margaritas all around! Our server, Brandon was friendly and definitely added to the celebratory spirit of our group. The food came out promptly, but one dish had to be returned for a small glitch. Fish all around! At the conclusion of the meal, we had the life changing bread pudding. More happiness! Unfortunately, there was no espresso or cappuccino on the menu. Our entreaties to walk across the street to Starbucks were met with resistance. However, an effort was made(successfully) to serve some very strong coffee to cap things off. We had lots of fun, Brandon was an important part of that.

Great food and service, but I bit overpriced for the portion size I’d still recommend this to anyone! We had the shrimp and Tuna. Awesome! The views and atmosphere are exceptional, as well!

The view is THEONLY redeeming factor to this place, and you can get that across the street at Olympia. I got the Grouper and it was just terrible… tough and super chewy. I had to use my knife to cut through it. The gumbo was very runny and lacking salt and flavor in general. The shrimp and sausage in the gumbo was very tough and the rice was chewy. The veggies that came with the fish were all dante, which is fine but I’m not sure if that was intentional or a flop by the kitchen. The root beer bread pudding was okay, but contained no raisins and was really chewy and heavy. The only reason I gave this restaurant two stars instead of one is because we had good service and the ambiance on the outdoor deck is quite enjoyable. Overall though, a huge flop.

This place has a great view of the sailing ship docked nearby. The entrance to the Resturant is really nice and open. You see the bar as soon as you enter. The bartender was friendly and it was happy hour so I ordered a drink and took it out to the water side to drink it. I ordered some onion strings before dinner and watched the ships go by. Dinner was a chicken sandwich since I don’t like fish. Yeah I know. It’s a fish place. But it was a good chicken sandwich. Server was friendly and kept my water glass full. Great place to eat and highly recommended, both for the view and the food.

Had a great time. Sat at the bar. It has a killer view of the ocean and boats. We ordered from the happy hour munchies menu. Shrimp kisses are really good. They are basically Bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with cheese. Can’t go wrong with that combination. The calamari was very tender. That was my favorite. We also had oysters on the half shell, gumbo, and stuffed jalapeños. Everything was delicious. Sara was our bartender. She was very nice and attentive. We did notice another guest who had an issue with a mixed drinks she didn’t like. The manager had them remake it and he delivered it to her personally. They really want to make sure you are satisfied. We had 2 different managers greet us at the bar and ask if we were satisfied. We will definitely be back. Bonus: we didn’t realize we had unused rewards on our Landry’s card so we ended up getting $ 25 off of the bill.

We are currently in Galveston(from Dallas) celebrating our 1 year anniversary and decided to stop by this place for a quick bite(not our anniversary dinner). It was a bit cold and rainy outside, so I didn’t want to sit outside, but the view was still gorgeous. My goodness! Excellent location! I wasn’t too hungry nor in the mood for licka(alcohol) so I got a Virgin strawberry Piña colada daiquiri and a shrimp salad. Nothing was special about the salad… I could have gotten one just as good at McDonalds 10 cheaper. Huge portion with about 6 baby shrimp… really lacking… the daiquiri definitely met my needs. Blended to perfection with creamy whipped cream on top. Almost tasted like dessert! Hubby’s clam chowder was pretty good… very comforting. I’m a southern gal so I should know how a pecan pie is supposed to taste! Tasted like gmas! A little sweet but I was very impressed. Comes out to you pipping hot with ice cream on top. 2 people can definitely share. Service was good. Our waitress was almost a bug a boo, but I liked that. Lol! Because it was our first time there, I feel as if she didn’t inform us on hidden fees… like it would cost $ 1 extra to add some Lemon and pepper to my shrimp… wtf??? And my hubby got a sauce with his grilled fish meal(not pictured) and that was $ 2…cmon lady! Overall food was ok… nothing to write home about… place would’ve gotten 5 stars if I would’ve just stuck with the pie and Virgin drink…

We came in for lunch on the Saturday before Labor Day. It was packed and Carnival Freedom was docked next door. Kip was our server and did a great job — never had an empty glass. The crabbed stuffed tilapia meal is fantastic!
