By The Sea Condominiums

It’s a good location near the beach and close to other attractions such as Pleasure Pier and Moody Gardens. We stayed in Condo #1005. It was disappointing for the amount we paid. There was one king bed and one queen. Both beds were pretty comfortable. There was also a couch bed, but we didn’t need that and thank god because the couch smelled bad. I don’t know if it was mildew or what but it had a foul smell. The overall appearance of the condo was ok but it was not very clean. After walking on the floor, the bottoms of our feet and socks were black; and this was the first day we arrived! Under the couch and other furniture was dusty and had not been cleaned. But the overall worst part was the bathrooms! The wall behind both toilets was rotted out. The floor at the entrance of the bathroom was oozing out water constantly. If we laid a towel down it was soaked within 20 minutes. Gross! And again this room smelled like mildew. Not impressed with this place at all! If you are going to charge that much to rent this place out, please keep the condo in good condition. Will not be staying here again.
