I literally fly from Western New York down to galveston to get tattoos from Greg!!! Best artist I’ve met and his attention to detail is amazing. I only trust him for my future tattoos.

LOVELOVELOVE this place. I have two tattoos from Greg, and if I didn’t move to Reno NV I would definitely get every single tattoo from him. My husband and I went in on our honeymoon to get some tattoos because we were just feeling some more since it was all gloomy outside.(I had five already and had another drawn up.) Greg helped me evolve my idea and sketch to something much more than I could have asked for. He is very talented, and runs a super clean shop. I hate it when you go into a shop and get ignored or the artists think they are hot stuff. I did not have that experience here which was so refreshing. Greg is very personable and funny, but gets work done! Great prices too, very fair. A year later and I still love my tattoos. If your reading this Greg, we miss you and rave about you here in Nevada!

So your on Galveston Island hanging out for the weekend, and decide you need a tattoo. Who do you ask? Unilocaled it with no luck so I started asking the hotel staff where the locals go. Galveston Tattoo Corner was the overwhelming answer. I went in and described what I wanted; artwork was drawn up and next thing you know I’m laying sideways on a table getting my ink on. Greg Votaw was my artist and my new art came out perfect! So this shop is literally Rooster Sr. endorsed as denoted by my new profile pic. Clean shop, nice staff, and a jealous wife that didn’t get any work done. I’m catching up to ya baby!
