Awful awful customers service I can’t believe it! Don’t get me wrong the food is 5 star but the customer service deserves 0 star! My family and I order 60 – 70 $ worth of food almost everyday from there I have a big family… Anyways one day this week I orderd 60 $ worth of food even gave the driver 10 $ tip when I received my food I was missing my beef fried rice that I had asked for. So I called and told them where is my beef fried rice? And the manager said you didn’t order that I said yes I did and she said well they never charged you for it but if you want you can place a order. Mind you this was after I had gotten my food already! So I said no why should I have to order it again and wait 30 – 40 minutes for something I had already ordered in the first place! So she kept arguing with me and I said mam I spend 60 – 70 $ worth of food almost everyday from you are you kidding me you can’t just send me my rice you would reather loose a costumer who spends 60 – 70 $ of food almost everyday over some fried rice and she says ya we don’t care. Why kind of manager says that! Never again! I will never spend money in this place again! they lost a good costumer but its OK their loss I will find another place to give my money to a place who knows how to treat costumers!!! This was my favorite Chinese food place what a shame I refuse to give my money to rude people I deleted their number off my phone and told all my family members to never order from there again. I am so upset as I am typing this I can’t believe this bullshit.

I ordered the shrimp with vegetables and white sauce and steamed white rice for a weekday lunch. The place was empty and staff was dining so I expected little service. The plate arrived and the vegetables were nicely cooked. But the shrimp, I was shocked. Not only are they not cleaned, they were literally wrapped in cords of black excrement. The rice was hard and crusty. Needless to say, I didn’t eat it. But nobody ever came to the table. I asked for the check and showed the server. She went running to the kitchen, shrimp on a napkin. I paid the bill and left never to return.

Best Chineese food in Gainesville. Good, attentive service, very clean restaurant. We eat here several times a month and are never disappointed!

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had!!! Everything we ordered was horrible. The cashew chicken tastes suspicious… Like almost some kind of cleaner in it. No one would eat it. Trashed. Even the white rice was over cooked and dry. Veg spring rolls are very bland. fried wontons hard and tasteless. Fried rice bland as well. No flavor to even salt up. The general tso chicken was only so-so. Definitely have had better. I could make better Chinese food than this. Total waste of weekend eating out money. Even the free doughnuts were tough and bland. Never again!

Extremely bland food. I order kung pow chicken and asked them to make it extra spicy. I still couldn’t taste anything.

We get delivery from here every few months. It’s always good and fast. Yesterday we ordered 5 meals and they said it would be 45 minutes. 20 minutes later our doorbell rang. The food was still hot.

We have tried a lot of different Chinese places since moving to warrenton and this is hands down the best. Not quite New York good, but the general tsos is the best around. Hot and sour soup is great, chicken lo mein is great, its all best in the area.

Subsequent visits were disappointing because of sour past vegetables in the dishes. Too bad.

This place is a poor excuse for Chinese food. Their lunch special fried rice looks like soy sauce was poured over it to give it a «fried look». The lo mein is made with spaghettini noodles and I once got fried noodles and they were so stale, who knows how old they were. All the food I’ve ever gotten looks very low budget.

I“m not going to kid you, I like this place. I have yet to have a bad meal, as a matter of fact I get the same thing all the time.(Yeah I don’t get all that adventurous with my Chinese Food) but when you have something you like stick with it. The food is always hot, and tasty. The staff has ALWAYS been friendly and I’m a stickler for customer service. It’s not fancy but its DAMN Yummy!

Ive been going here since 2008. I have always done either delivery or pickup so I cannot comment on the sit down poriton. I also have only had the scechuan beef, beef and broccoli, and sweet and sour chicken. I can say the latter 2 have always been fantastic. Fresh tasting, no complaints. I tend to get the crispy beef 90 percent of the time, and 75 percent of the time its great. The other 25 percent, its«ok». It can sometimes be a tad soggy. Overall, the food is great(even moreso when they include the donuts). The service when I pick up and deliver is also very friendly. Never any issues in that aspect. They will continue to get my business.

We’ve had these guys deliver to us twice. I have to say, this place is quite possibly the best Chinese food in the NoVa area. We tried the General Tsao’s chicken, pork fried rice, egg rolls and egg drop soup. So delicious! !

We come here regularly for the lunch specials and dinners as well. The food is tasty, fresh and hot. Lunch specials have egg roll, rice and main dish for $ 6. You cant do Mickey d’s for that. I’ve had most everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The wait staff is very friendly and fast. This is definately my go to Chinese food.

Wish I had written a review a couple of weeks ago because now all I remember is that we both really enjoyed the food. It was fresh and tasty! We dined in. The interior is not impressive. Looks like they do a great deal of carry out. Restroom was quite well maintained. They lack storage and use part of the dining area for it. No big deal. We will go back for sure!

The general tso shrimp was excellent! The breading was perfect. The sauce was really good but a little too salty. The waitress did not speak english well but you could pretty much understand her. The triple delight was ok as was the beef chow fun. I like Taste of Asia’s beef chow fun better. All in all, not bad!

We order kung pow chicken and sesame chicken. They were both very bland. I ordered white meat kung pow chicken and all it was, was thinly sliced chicken. Both dishes were very tasteless. The best part of the meal was the home made donuts that they brought at the end of the meal. That’s why I bumped it up to a 2 star rating.

I have been to this restaurant twice now, once dining in, once for pick-up. It’s neither a terrible restaurant, nor a good one. For me, the litmus test for americanized chinese food is the quality of the General Tso’s Chicken, and the fried rice. Unfortunately, China Inn is uninspiring on both accounts. It may have been an off-day, but the general tso’s was accompanied by such a strong smell of vinegar in the sauce as to take one’s appetite away. I have come to expect less-than-quality chicken from most chinese restaurants, but on this occasion, it was hard to tell whether it was indeed chicken at all. The fried rice was stale, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for several hours. That being said, you could do worse. The occasion that I dined in, I had a much better experience and the Sesame Beef I ordered was not bad at all.

We ate there last weekend, the food was ok. Not great, not bad. For appetizers we got an order of steamed meat dumplings and crab rangoon. The dumplings were rather small and the wrappers were very thick. They tasted fine. The rangoon was also very small, but the filling wasn’t as sweet as some other places and my wife liked them. I guess we just felt a little ripped off, their prices were the same as every other place in town but the portions were under-sized. For entrees we got kung pao two kinds and general tso’s bean curd. The kung pao decent, not great but not bad either. The bean curd was cooked perfectly to my wife’s tastes but the sauce wasn’t like any general tso’s we’ve ever had, it had a hint of ketchup taste which was really wierd.

DISCLAIMER: Yes Kevin, this place serves«Americanized Chinese,» NOT true Chinese cuisine! :-) I got an order of food from here to go last week — an order of Hot and Sour Soup(with crunchy noodles), Spring Rolls(with a side of House Chinese Mustard), and Kung Pao Chicken(extra spicy). I placed my order from the car on my way home so that I could pick it up and head right home. It was about 7 – 8 or minutes after I ordered the food that I arrived — they guesstimated about 10 minutes while on the phone. I went to pay my bill with a credit card — and the guy charged me $ 31 for something that was only about $ 11! I pointed this out, he seemed confused, so a lady behind the counter took charge and refunded the transaction back to my credit card. Then another guy started to hand me a bag of someone else’s food. Once again, the lady caught the error. I sure hope this is not the norm service-wise for this place. I will say that when I got the food home — it was pretty good. Soup was tasty, the Spring rolls were yummy — the Chinese mustard was potent! I was choking and experiencing that deep nasal headrush, a sure sign of some powerful mustard! Just the way I like it! And the Kung Pao was pretty good as well.
