Carino Family Dentistry at Lake Manassas

Hadn’t been to the dentist in 5 years and came here based on a family members recommendation. Only been once so far but very pleased. Nice office and very friendly staff,

After 5 years of regular dentist appointnments and giving him MANY referrals, Dr. Carino terminated us without notice over an $ 84 bill, that WAS PAID. Because they can never seem to give you a clear understanding of what they will be reimbursed by insurance, we simply paid our accounts in full every 6 months when we went in for routine cleanings. This had been the standard practice for the past 5 years. We paid the $ 84 by check in the mail before our next appointment, he cashed the check and then terminated us, giving no notice. The next time we drove over an hour for an appointment we were notified at the desk that he would not see us again, over $ 84, that WAS PAID, because it was outstanding from an insurance claim that was unpaid and was received late. How late could it have been, we were in just 6 months ago? Very unprofessional, and disappointing. Especially since over the past 5 years it was a regular practice to pay anything outstanding when we came in.
They will email you twice, text you twice and call you twice before every appointment but will not give a single courtesy call about a minor outstanding bill.
We are now due for our 6 month cleanings and have to wait another 2 months to get into a new doctor because we were unaware of this decision by Dr. Carino. Dr. Carino is responsible for delaying our oral hygiene, I would not call that a dentisit who genuinely cares.

Wife and I have been going here for over a year. They use state of the art equipment and have excellent dental care.
Dr. Carino even does an oral cancer screening – never before have I had that.
Wife had extensive dental work (bridge).
Well satisfied. Even tho we moved to Martinsburg WV, we continue to go to Carino Family Dentistry!
