Los Tres Magueyes is ok, not great but ok. There is nothing inherently bad about the food at this restaurant but nothing memorable. It is basic chain restaurant Mexican food. Service was good and beer was cold.

Coming from Southern California, the Mecca of amazing Mexican food, we were told that upon moving to nc, we would never taste delicious, authentic Mexican food again. That’s just NOT true. Since moving here we have had some of the best Mexican food. This is one of our favorite places to eat when we need a fix. The chips and salsa are served warm, which is always an indication that the food will be great. And it is! Consistently good. The service is always warm and friendly as well :)

This has been our go to place for Mexican food for 5 years. Recently they changed management and the place has gone downhill. The food is not as good and service is inconsistent at best. Wish it would go back to previous management. Then it would be worthy of 5 stars!

Six years and their customer service is still the best. They know all of us by name and my girls call their favorite waitress«the princess». My hubby had his 40th bday party here in 2014 and they were a pleasure to work with. It was a bit difficult at the beginning due to my zero Spanish speaking ability but in the end they were affordable and accommodating. We had a party of 40+ including 10 kids in their side party room and two able waitresses. It was so much fun. Now that we have moved to Holly Springs we don’t frequent as much but it’s a great Mexican restaurant. The owners are some of the hardest working folks around. Their takeout is fast and generous. Give them a try if you are in the area!

So my boyfriend had a taste for Mexican and we decided to try this place. As others have said, phenomenal salsa. I got excited when I tasted the salsa, cause it usually means a good Mexican place. I geared up for an awesome dining experience and got the Nachos Supreme, while boyfriend went for a shrimp in cream sauce, with chicken tacos on the side. The food came out relatively quickly, waitress was great, but food was watery? My nachos were swimming in a cheesy watery mess. I picked the plate up and poured some of the excess liquid onto an extra plate. It looked like the chicken and beef on my nachos hadn’t been drained. It was a little gross, but the flavors were good, so I ate what I could. Boytoy’s chicken tacos didn’t fare much better. He literally picked them up and squeezed the cooking liquid out of the chicken. It was a little gross. Funny, when one squirted him, but still gross. The shrimp in cream sauce was good, although the shrimp came swimming in a sea of cream sauce that covered half the plate. Poor love can’t have that much dairy and had to hunt down his shrimp and remove the excess sauce. The rice was cooked awesome, all yellow with bold flavors. The beans also were perfectly creamy cheesy beany goodness, too. Just both got covered in the excessive amount of cream sauce on the plate. Service was good, salsa was AMAZING, décor was cheerful and vibrant, flavors were solid; almost everything required to make a great dining and restaurant experience, but the chef didn’t drain the excess liquid from the meats, and it, unfortunately, put a huge damper on the evening’s enjoyment.

It’ll get done what you came to do. I can’t say we’ll never be back because we will. Service was good, quick & friendly.

Nice people. But food just okay and came out cold. Sent back and came out cold second time. And we’ve never seen slower service. Won’t return.

We go to the Holly Springs location often as a family. Last week I took my middle son on a, «date» and we decided to try the FV location to see if it was any different. Well is was. In a good way! There was something different about the food that I cannot quite pinpoint, but I think it was fresher, which made it taste better. The staff was so welcoming and our server was FANTASTIC! I decided to ask her if the restaurants were one in the same and she said they were family, but the HS location was run differently. It shows. My absolutely new favorite Mexican place for sure! !

Food was cold, I had a too go order, opened the box less than 5 mins, it was cold. And the worst part is that the steak fajita was cold too… How can something came out of the cast iron pan cold?

Just plain Mexican-American food — nothing special at all.

This is your general mexican fare. The margaritas are good but service is slow. The salsa is good and I had the fajitia burrito with queso and it was very good. Huge portions — i would love to see someone finish that meal. Overall it was okay — nothing spectacular

This place has the standard generic menu that is available in most restaurants in the area. The quality of their food, however, is much higher than the norm. My food has always been delicious and my margaritas tasty. The service here is also very prompt and courteous even when they are overrun with customers. I would recommend the chimichangas! I will say that though this restaurant is good, Tacos Mexico is still my favorite in Fuquay.

A friend of mine invited me to diner at this place awhile ago and it’s not bad. i mean it like any other authentic Mexican restaurant but i have to agree with Cathy W. that there salsa is superior to others for some reason. the place is clean and has a great layout, isn’t to narrow on the inside and the bar is place well stocked with Mexican and domestic American beer. the waitresses are dressed in brightly colored traditional attire and are super friendly. Now on to what i ate there… the menu was tipical Mexican fare nothing out of the ordinary so i got a tamale, and a cheese enchilada. they were great and as i said before the salsa put it right over the top, wash it down with a ice cold beer. I wish there was a 3.5 star rating here because i was kinda falling into a «if you had one, you’ve had em all» type of funk but there salsa really won me over because authentic or not it’s hard to find a joint the makes good salsa now-a-days.

Love this place! Great quick service and very friendly staff. Feel prices are reasonable and you can always find a coupon with little effort. Love going there on Margarita Mondays! Definetly our go to place whenever we can’t figure out what to have for dinner.

I LOVE their salsa!!! This place has food that’s okay… it’s not the best, but it’s certainly not the worst either. Their menu looks just like any other Mexican place, but the one thing that stands out when I think about LTM is their salsa. I could eat a bucket of it and still ask for more! I love going here on a Friday night because it’s a little busier and there’s a nice hummm to the place. I came once with my parents and we actually had a 40 minute wait! It was worth it for the salsa!!!
