Flame Broiler

MOLD. I used to be a regular here, until I was halfway through my «Half and Half» bowl and found a fluffy glob of mold in my rice. I stormed back in and demanded my money back. The girl at the front was nice, prompt and accommodating, despite how grossed out and angry I was. Really good customer service, but I will NEVER eat here again.

I usually love this place, but not this time. I ordered two bowls and both were only about ¾ full if that. The guy in front of me said his wasn’t very full so he asked if they could add more veggies which they did. Seems like they are being skimpy. Love the taste though!

2 stars for the quick service, 1 star for the friendly cashier. I ordered 2 regular bowls, one chicken bowl was ok, the beef were dry and little too salty for my taste. The one thing really bothered me was the portion, I think they only gave me half of a regular order.

Thank goodness that this Flame Broiler is right in my neighborhood! I really like the white-​meat chicken bowl with brown rice, tasty & healthy.
The steamed veggies are always al-​dente, perfectly steamed & crisp — no idea how they do that by the way. I enjoy the steak too, it’s marinaded and usually very tender. My favorite bowl is the half & half bowl with chicken & steak and either brown or white rice.
They’ve added a new condiment called ‘crazy’ sauce, it’s green. Lol, I can’t really describe it, it’s super spicy but tangy. It’s like a hot salsa verde basically, but smooth. I loooove it on everything.
This location in the Ralph’s shopping center (between Starbucks & Ralph’s) is never too busy. I’m usually in and out with my order quickly, the service has been fast and friendly also.

Amazing quality of food, reasonable pricing, quick, and with amazing service! The cashier was honestly one of the most genuine people I have come across, making the entire workplace more happy! Il Definatly be back!

This flame boiler is a lot better then the one in brea. The one in brea the meat was so dry. The one here was clean, and the sauce is good as well.

Fast service. Came here bc of a groupon. 2 $ 10 vouchers for only $ 12! However you cannot use this on their existing promo which is a chicken bowl + drink for $ 6.75 (plus tax). I used my $ 10 groupon voucher on 2 chicken bowls and paid the difference of $ 3.03.

Follows the traditional use of the food chains specialties. This one has a chicken bowl with drink for 6.75 $ which is a good deal for what you get.
The staff is friendly and already makes sauce containers for you to grab.
Eat here if you like healthy food and basic flame broiler.

First time at this location. The girl who took my order was very nice but the menu pricing placement is a little confusing. I’m tracking my diet, and the menu said to change to brown rice/​white meat for reduced calories without a price difference displayed. So I assumed they were the same price. The white meat ended up being $ 1.25 more which isn’t a big deal but they should have the price displayed more conveniently. Otherwise it’s clean inside and the food came quickly.

My husband and I had a groupon for this place. Very pleased with the service. The store was busy with phone calls and people walking in the whole time we were eating and the lady at the register was able to handle everything quickly, politely, and with a smile. Will be back again.

Fast, friendly and efficient! Maria was a the counter making sure everyone received the correct order. She was also making sure the place looked nice in between customers. The gentlemen in the back was pretty awesome as well. I didn’t get his name. My mini bowl was fantastic… thanks!

Love flame broilers food and the food at this location is always good but the staff is rude here. I’m all about hospitality as I myself work in a restaurant, and for some reason every time I go here I feel like I’m being rushed out.

Love this place — yummy food that seems fairly healthy and that the whole family enjoys. I just wish they had a drive-​thru! But, the staff is always super-​friendly and courteous, the restaurant itself is always clean, and you get a good amount of food for your buck. Good place!

Came in with a stamp card that literally had their address listed as a location that accepts this stamp card. Guess what? Didn’t accept the stamp card because this particular location has ~*made their own*~. Well whatever. You’re still expected to honor your previous stamp cards. Didn’t help that the low-​class $ 8-​an-​hour scoffed at me before explaining they exclusively accept their own card. Bye Felicia

Flame Broiler is nothing new to me and I grab a bowl here a couple times a week before work. I have always had the best service at this location. never had a problem with the food and the workers are welcoming and kind.
This location has definitely earned my business for some time to come.

The girl that works during the day is amazing. She always has to-​go sauces ready for people to grab. You are always greeted with a smile and while waiting for my food you can see how hard that girl works. I would promote her to manager! She is amazing!
They always give a good amount of meat! The new green sauce has so much more flavor than the original sauce!!!

.flamebroiler/​teriyaki place in OC. Hands down! Clean restaurant. Polite workers. Just overall really satisfying experience!

My favorite is their beef & veggie bowl with their magic SAAAAUUUUUUCCCE. You can never go wrong with this place. The food here is always flavorful, meat is tender, topped with fresh steamed veggies over brown rice. drool. This place won’t fail you. You’ll always leave here stuffed and satisfied.

Teriyaki rice bowls are a primary choice for almost everyone for lunch. But the hardest part is which place do you want to go to? There are so many to choose from these days.
Pros
The regular bowl is a perfect size for lunch! I’m the person who tends to over eat at lunch and get massive food coma afterwards. The portion size at Flame Broiler keeps me accountable and keeps me in check. No over eating!
The char! I love char on my meat. Who doesn’t? It gives the beef or chicken more flavor and I’m a connoisseur of flavor. The chicken in my bowl was charred to perfection. Picture attached. Chicken bowls are $ 6.00 plus tax.
No extra charge for brown rice! I usually get half white and half brown. Try it!
The magic sauce is indeed a magical sauce probably invented in a magical land somewhere in Wonderland, Neverland or Narnia. But keep everything in moderation! Go easy on the sauce, especially if you’re on diet!
Choices are good, but honestly, in the end, I have to resort to the Rice Bowl King. To have the «King» in a name, you gotta back it up big time, and I have to say that this King has earned his crown.
