Real Barber’s

This has been our family barbershop for over 5 years. My son always gets a great haircut here! On the rare occasion we have to stray and go somewhere else, we always regret it, and come running back to Johnny and George for a fix. We moved 35 miles away about 3 months ago, and still found a way to get in for a haircut after a play date in town. Today we learned Johnny is moving out of state… We are very sad to lose a friend, but comforted to know George will still be here delivering terrific service with kindness and a genuine heart. We tell everyone we know about this barber shop! We always pay cash, not even sure if they take cards, $ 14 for my son’s haircut, plus tip. They offer lollipops to my kids afterwards, as well. The shop has a cool atmosphere, James Dean like, a little biker influence, too.

Good cuts at a fair price. Friendly, efficient, and reliable. Stop in and see George, he’ll get ya looking sharp!

Did a great job with my hair. Nice barber, reasonable amount of chattiness, didn’t make a stink when I had to run next door to get cash because they don’t take cards.

Place is garbage. When I walked in, the barber asked what kind of haircut I wanted. I told him that I just wanted a fade. His response, «I don’t really do those cuts». Expected a lot more from a place called «Real Barbers». If they can’t execute a simple fade, I wouldn’t expect really anything from them. Stay away at all costs

This is a review for all the ladies out there who get super pissed when their men come home with messed up haircuts. I am very particular about how my husband cuts his hair. I’m one of those chicks who believes the higher the pomp the closer to heaven. I know it’s not for everyone but if this is the style you rock then go see Johnny.
Johnny will go above and beyond to get you in and looking good. He is an artist that is very good at his craft. He’s more of a punk/​rockabilly cat so if you are looking for the prison cut or something a $ 5 dollar garage barber would hook you up with you will probably wanna look elsewhere. He’s also one of the best go to guys when you are looking for some legit pomades, I think might have even seen him with Sauvecita too.
So ladies if you’re tired of your man coming home from Fantastic Sam’s looking like Simple Jack then stop by and get him in a chair. Keep in mind you are in a barber shop so the tv’s aren’t going to be playing Keeping Up With the Kardashians and you may come across a couple of Maxim magazines but take one for the team. The rest of the women in the world will salute you for having such a sexy man!

Both George and Johnny do a great job. I have been coming to George since he worked down the street and always since he opened his own shop several years back. I like the banter that goes on in the shop and always have a good time and get a good cut. My boy gets his hair cut here too and won’t go anywhere else.

Been getting cuts from Johnny for two years. He does an excellent job in a timely manner. Shop is clean and these cats are super chill.

Honestly my visit was very disappointing. I asked for a low fade but ended up getting a haircut that made Stevie Wonder look like a great barber. Both sides were uneven and honestly it looked like crap. The «barber» that did my hair smelled like cigarette real bad and that made it very unpleasant for me to sit there with the smell. I don’t recommend the guy with the long beard. Honestly for $ 18 I would’ve expected a better result but I will have to try another barber.

Been get hair cut by George for over 15yrs or so, been cutting my sons hair since he was 4yrs. Always does a great job, remembers what cut you like and you always get greeted when you walk in, not like another shop in La Habra where the girl (owner) thinks she’s to good now (not a PROPER barbers thing to do) George has Suavecito here also

George and Johnny are awesome guys. And cut hair very well! A++ would highly recommend them.

George is a really good guy and I’m blanking on the other guy that works there but he is rad too. Super chill vibe. I have always hated my hair cuts all my life until I came here. I just describe what I want and let them do their magic. Recommend for a
Good cut for a fair price. No one wants to pay top dollar for a haircut.

Overall, my experience here was very sub-​par:
Positive:
–I didn’t have to wait long.
–The shop is clean.
–The barber was nice enough.
Negatives:
–The sides and top of my hair turned out okay, but I don’t know what the heck he did to the back, I had to have my wife try and fix it for me.
–This was the kind of haircut I would expect if I paid $ 9, but for $ 18 + tip I was very disappointed.
–I’m sorry, you can’t call yourself ‘Real Barbers’ and not do a neck shave with a straight razor at the end of the cut.
Conclusion:
–For a basic cut you might be okay, but it’d also be too expensive for a basic cut.
–No doubt, I will not be returning to this shop.

Best cuts I’ve gotten!!!

$ 18 for a real good, quality haircut.

George did a great job with not only delivering a fine cut but the overall set up is a great place to have your hair cut! I used to drive about 15 miles/​one way as it VERY hard to find a good cut — with Real Barber’s, each cut good!

George does an excellent job! I travel from Orange to get my cuts done. Never go anywhere else

I’d have to agree with the previous 2 reviews. Probably one of the best haircuts I have received.
The place isn’t very fancy but just a couple cool friendly guys who cut great hair at a reasonable price.
They usually have a game on as well… so it helps pass the time away.
