Good healthy food! Recommend the steak wrap with added humus for $ 1.00. Great atmosphere a lot of seating available and good custom service.

First of all, I love the food here, and would give it five stars. But you guys need to make some quick changes. The only way to preorder is over the phone(and my order is wrong everytime I pick it up). I would love to use your website but it has crazy problems, please read below. Once you fix these normal website changes that should be on ALL websites, I’ll change it to a five star rating. When I order, I have to order a bunch at the same time, and I unfortunately can’t do it on your website. Your freshgrillers website is EXTREMELY frustrating. I order about once a week, but can never use your website to order. Please fix these issues. I want to build my own and you don’t have these options: 1. You can’t have half brown rice/half spring mix. Why can’t you have that as an option. 2. Why isn’t there a comments section on your order? Maybe I want light sauce. 3. Why no hummus option? 4. How about if you want hot sauce and teryaki, that’s not possible, you need to be able to choose more than one option. 5. How about if you don’t want ANYSAUCE, the website wont allow this 6. I never want any of the seasonal items, you wont let me choose none of the above either. Also, it would be great if you signed up with a delivery service such as: Doordash, Unilocal,or Restaurant Express. This is free for you, please get it together and I will order from you guys multiple times per week. Very Frustrating. David

I stumbled on this new fast casual restaurant today as I was looking for something flavorful and healthful. Check and check. I built a bowl on brown rice and added corn, zucchini & apples, chicken, and topped with an aji sauce. I didn’t add several toppings(some for a price and some not) that all looked good: cilantro, bean sprouts, avocado. The dining area is fresh and comfortable, and uncrowded on a Saturday at noon. Free refills on a range of beverages including teas and cane sodas.(No name brand soda.) My daughter was just as happy. Both of us were full for under $ 21.

This is a great spot in Fullerton, I love the healthy option around all the greasy joints! I have only tried the wraps, they are so good I haven’t convinced myself to try the bowls or salads yet. Sometimes I add too many ingredients and the wrap is huge, but I can just bring it to work for leftovers. My leftovers caught my co-worker’s eye and we ended up ordering their catering for our office lunch. Best. Decision. Ever. Everyone was thrilled with the food and the service!

Wow. Just wow. This place is sooooooo good. It’s my new favorite spot. Extremely affordable too. I walked in and the girl greeted me with a friendly smile. We said it was our first time here and she offered help if we had questions. I ordered a rice bowl with chicken and added avocado. It was amazing. Extremely fresh ingredients and great portion sizes. Affordable too! Even with adding avocado it was only $ 9. The décor is cool in here, lots of seating. I can’t wait to come here again, I’ve already texted friends about meeting up here for lunch soon!

Looked for a new place around the area that was more on the healthier side and this came up. Read some mixed reviews but came in to see myself. They have a really nice and fresh set up, you can smell the freshness as soon as you walk in. It was my first time so I asked how it all worked because it was a bit confusing at first. You can either order an item already put together on the menu, or you can make your own. It’s either a bowl, a burrito or a salad or mix and match it ya like. I ordered the bowl, which was practically like a salad. I recommend adding the apple zucchini salad, super tastey, mixed in some kale and spring mix salad as well, also added chicken and avocado, and had a side sauce of the Ginger chili which is great as well! I was very satisfied of the taste and it wasn’t heavy and just enough to satisfy me for lunch. I see some post about not having a lot of flavor. It’s a healthier choice in eating, that is what freshness taste like, if you want something with more sugar or grease go somewhere else… just saying. Overall, customer service was quick and easy. Place was clean, they have a few seats outside to eat and I will he back.

I love what the restaurant is doing. I love the ambiance and the décor. Service is great! The only thing is that I would not go back. There wasn’t anything great about the food other than the Aji Verde sauce. At least at Chipotle, there is a distinct taste that you can’t replicate at home and I feel like everything here is something you can make at home for half the price. It was good when I dig into in, but that was probably because I was really hungry. I think the cold egg yolk is making me feel a little sick. They should have made if fresh, it would have been a different story.

Nope! I really enjoyed my salad when I ate lunch here last Monday. I didn’t enjoy the food borne illness I had later that night. If you’re going to serve raw food in large quantities, you have to keep everything clean and separated to prevent bacteria and viruses from spreading. My lunch date was also ill later that night and the next day, and this was the only thing we both ate before getting sick. The raspberry lemonade was delicious, but both the teas they had were flavored and they didn’t have any unflavored option. I don’t really have any reason to return and take a risk.

I like this place. It’s like a chipotle but with more healthy choices. All the vegetable choices tasted really fresh and yummy. Make sure to get the Aji Verde sauce. They also give you a very generous portion. My complain is that I think they recently change the source of the steak or the way they cook it. The steak is now tasting pretty dry and flavorless. The steak used to be so good!

Great service! The employees walked me through each of the choices and even informed me of the ingredients it goes into each of them.(I asked because my friend has some allergies). While asking, each employee seemed happy to help and gave generous portions in comparison to competing business’s. My favorite aspect of Fresh Griller were the vegetable choices! Where else would apple salad and brussel sprouts be an option? Also, whats amazing are the variety of sauces to top off your bowl, taco, or burrito!

YES! A healthy fast food! Its the same concept as chipotle and subway, where you go down the line and add things to your bowl/wrap. I got a chicken bowl with brown rice, corn, brussel sprouts, red cabbage, cilantro, and an avocado for an extra $ 1! The food is pretty bland but I don’t mind because the sauces give the bowls more flavor! I would rather my food be bland so I can adjust the saltiness, than my food to be too salty. For sauces definitely try the teriyaki and aji verde! Suuuuuper good! If you like spice, then of course try the hot sauce! My order including a regular drink came out to $ 10.47! Great pricing considering the portion and fresh ingredients! Overall, they give hearty portions. Service is great! Everyone is super kind and welcoming! Pricing is great! Restaurant is super clean and new with cute simple interior! They also offer free wifi! Which is cool, since I’m a college student and would like to get some work done while having lunch/dinner! One complaint is that the tables are not often wiped after customers eat. Other than that no complaints! Definitely will be back~

After much anticipation for what this place was going to be, I finally had a chance to waltz in and take a look for myself. The inside is warm, inviting and hip. The concept of what was originally created by Chipotle to add the toppings you like, continues to grow in favor and popularity. Fresh Griller is exactly what its made out to be, fresh ingredients and meats off the grill. The meal, was fantastic! Everything I wanted in a convenient bowl, all clean and tasty, a good mixture and most importantly, healthy! Good portion size for the price and a quality of meal you can’t go wrong with. The service is top notch, you’re greeted by friendly and attentive staff. Being a nicely renovated establishment, everything is new, which spells clean, which I love. Ingredients are fresh, proteins were cooked well. I can’t wait to come back again.

I love that more«healthier» fast food places are opening up. Being busy with grad school and trying eat healthy has almost been impossible. Places like this definitely makes it easier for me to eat healthier ! This place is like a healthier version of chipotle! They have different protein, veggie and sauce options. Lots and lots of sauces! I got a chicken burrito on whole wheat tortilla for $ 8−9… Quite pricy and not as big of a burrito as chipotle. It was still pretty filling. The décor is super hip and cute! However, it wasn’t kept too clean.

This place is like an Asian version of chipotle where you can customize what kind of vegetables, meat, and rice you want. You can get a rice bowl, salad bowl, or burrito. There are a good amount of sauces you can choose for your bowl/burrito. I was able to get 3 different sauces on the side because I was indecisive which was great! I was a bit disappointed while I was eating because my chicken was very burnt. I think the whole batch they made was burnt since my friend’s chicken was burnt as well.

We came on a Sunday afternoon and the place was completely empty. The food is a similar concept to Chipotle where you choose or wrap/bowl and then add meats, veggies, toppings, and sauces. I feel like this place gives less food though, than Chipotle. I got a bowl for about $ 9 and it didn’t even include cheese, pico de gallo or avocado. The décor is very modern and clean, and the workers all seem to be CSU Fullerton students. If they want to compete with all the food places across the street, my suggestion is lower the prices or at least do some sort of student combo for cheap.

We headed here one day during lunch when I met with my husband. I wanted something on the lighter side so we headed here. They offer selections from steak, chicken, and tofu. Everything is fresh and not loaded with hormones and such. You get a choice between a bowl,(with your choice of rice), a salad(mixed spring greens or kale), or a wrap.(flour or whole wheat tortilla). My husband went with the steak verde wrap which was one of their items off their«favorites» menu. No customization or special orders required. I ordered a custom salad. I was not too keen on a lot of the options they had for the salad. I went with the mixed greens which was fine, but the only vegetable that looked appealing to me was green beans, and I was not sure how that was going to be on a salad. Hopefully good, because he put a giant amount on it. I was not sure of the other options. One looked like a corn/bean salsa type mix, and I was not sure on another I saw. For my meat I went with tofu. I am not really a fan of tofu, but I have chicken so often that I thought that I would go even healthier while it was offered. He then asked what sauce I wanted. I asked what they were as it was a bunch of squirt bottles. He pointed to a sign on top of the glass. Well, the only one that had no mention of spicy related items was the teriyaki. I was not sure how this was going to go either. I told him and he said OK and squirted it all over my husband’s burrito. Now that was ruined and a lot of steak now had to be thrown away. I specified again that it was for the salad. He put it on the salad and asked what I wanted on my other salad. What other salad? That is another customer’s. So now they start making my husband’s burrito again, the right away, no clue when it would turn up because there were a bunch of bowls and salads coming down the line. They asked what other toppings I wanted. I picked the soft boiled egg, and avocado. Of course, extra charge. $ 1 each. Then I asked if that was quinoa and they said yes but it would be an extra charge. Forget it! I went with peanuts and not quinoa. When everything finally arrived and we ordered two basic drinks, the total came to over $ 23. I should have snagged one of their raspberry lemonade concoctions but it would have been more anyways. The salad was okay. The teriyaki became overpowering after a while and way too sweet, and I love green beans but I got sick of those in my salad. The tofu sucks up sauce well so it had flavor but its odd normal texture. When I get salads at places, I am more into those fruit ones, cranberries and such, with things like bleu cheese crumbles, or goat cheese, walnuts, etc. There was zero fruit. I like what they stand for with fresh ingredients and no junk. I just did not make something good and I wish they had some of the fruit like items. I would go back but I would really have to think about how I would make something tasty.

So unimpressed. I was really excited about this place since they seemed to be a healthier version of Chipotle and it’s right next to CSUF. Convenient. The prices here are really high for what you get. I got the tofu. something. It was a tofu bowl. And I wanted to add avocado to it and it was extra. Which is kind of annoying since it’s just tofu and not steak… like accommodate, please. Also, the tofu is really sweet. I can’t do it. I added quinoa to the bowl and well, the quinoa was really sweet too. It was too much. Maybe I just made some bad decisions about my bowl, but meh. Prices. Too high to come back and experiment. What I’ll give them is that they have really good service! When I ordered my bowl I was told that they didn’t have the tofu ready just yet and that it would be a few minutes, so they gave me a free drink. Super nice! Overall, I will be sticking to Chipotle if I want something filling and delicious and fairly healthy.

What happened to this place? It became a lot stingier with the portions and now charges extra for additional vegetables I normally got when I asked. It’s an additional $ 1 charge to get cooked veggies on top of your salad bowl, which isn’t bad, but I’m more in disbelief that this place is different than it was when it first opened. When I ordered steak for my salad, it didn’t fill the scoop entirely either. At $ 10.26, including tax, my bowl looks about the same after adding the $ 1 for extra veggies. Unfortunately, the steak was almost as cold as the salad and no longer piping hot, juicy, flavorful, and tender like it used to be. Another thing I’ve noticed is that there isn’t a long line anymore during lunchtime and I don’t recognize any of the staff from a month or two ago from the grand opening. The restaurant is quiet and empty, a stark difference compared to two months ago. I wonder if the main management team operated this Fresh Griller in the beginning before selling /handing it off to a new franchise owner? There was an older gentleman in business casual in the kitchen I haven’t seen before so I assume he’s the franchisee. Prices went up from $ 8 to $ 8.50 for a salad and I assume it’s the same for the bowls and wraps since all 3 menu items were $ 8 beforehand. Rating reduced from 3.75 to 3 stars. I’m hesitant to make another visit after what I saw and tasted today. If I make another visit and my experience is about the same or worse, then Fresh Griller’s fate will be officially sealed at 2.75 stars(rounded to a 3) for okay food yet lack of value. I’ll write the next date I visit to this update.

Similar to Chipotle, the concept revolves around eating healthier ingredients in the form of a bowl, salad, or wrap. The only difference is the ingredients used here. They have a decent variety of salads, toppings, proteins(steak, chicken, tofu), rice(brown, basmati), and especially sauces. My favorite is probably the Scorchin’ and Ginger chilli(although this somewhat reminds me of the lean cuisine ginger sauce). For $ 8 a bowl, the portion sizes are good and the food is definitely healthier than ordering traditional fast food. The only improvement I would note is that it would be nice if they seasoned the basmati rice and some of their vegetables a little bit more, but I guess this is good for less sodium intake. 4 stars.

So, it’s been twice having this place and Yup, I likes! It’s great having healthy fast food places that fill you up with a yummy meal. You order like you would at a Chipotle. The food is out in trays and you look thru a glass to see it. You tell the server what you want and go down the line and pay. Simple and fast but a little pricey. The bowls come out to almost $ 10 and that’s not including a drink. Avocado and eggs are an extra charge too! You can do a bowl, wrap or salad. Each time I’ve come I’ve gotten the same thing. I order a chicken bowl with brown rice. I add purple cabbage, cilantro, avocado and aji sauce. The rice is soft and cooked right. The portion of chicken is decent. The cabbage has a pickled flavor. The cilantro and avocado, along with everything else, tastes really fresh. The aji sauce is delicious with a very slight kick of heat. Happy everything is fresh but it does lack some salt. It is good to know that it’s probably low in sodium. The sauce helps but one serving is not enough. Adding extra sauce or some sprinkled salt makes it better. They do have lots of sauces to choose from and don’t charge for extras. Some are hummus, vinegarette, wasabi, teriyaki and others. Glad to have this place close to work as I see myself coming here more often!
