Not as good as it used to be. Was crowded but service slow, steak tough, fries cold. Also, nachos with chicken not hot and chips were stale. Have had some good meals here but must have been short staffed this night. Will give them one more try but the last few visits have disappointed.

Typical Ale House, this place is laid out and looks and feels just like the handful of others in this chain. That being said, IMO, «typical» in the case of Miller’s Ale House has nearly always meant good things. I came here on a Saturday night to meet up with a friend who was visiting from out of town; He wanted to watch the UFC fight and this place was relatively near to his hotel so this is where he chose to meet up. We arrived at around 8:30 and though they were showing mostly college football, they did have the UFC preliminary events on a few screens that we could see from our table. They had $ 2 pints available on this night, which was great, ’cause we were thirsty! Closer to the time when the title matches were coming on, they put those on most of the screens and also played the audio from the fight through the sound system so it could be heard throughout the bar. Though there were a few dozen people here who’d come specifically to see the UFC programming, I was really surprised that this bar wasn’t packed with people! We were later joined by another buddy of ours. All 3 of us had dinner, several beers over the course of the 4 ½ hours we were here, and we also ordered an appetizer to share later on. The menu at Miller’s Ale House is always solid and offers a lot of variety, the food was good and so was the service. In the end, after all we’d ate and drank on this night, the total bill came to something stupidly low, something like $ 86.00 for everything. Note that this Ale house has 2 pool tables, 1 regulation size and the other a much smaller«bar table» size which didn’t seem to be level. They also have video games here to pass the time, but at least one of them was out of order.

3 stars seems about right maybe 3 ½? We live almost within walking distance and have driven by Miller’s 100’s of times(no exaggeration) so finally we decided to give it a try. Prime rib dinner and ½ rack of ribs, both came with sides and I added a side mixed salad for $ 2.29(bargain) the whole tab with 1 imported beer and 2 glasses of excellent Merlot came to under $ 60 including a nice tip for POTTER our great server. Not what I’d call gourmet but certainly very good and well worth the prices.

Went back to Millers Ale House. The food and the service was fantastic. I most definitely will be a regular at this location. I recommend the Jambalaya.

Food has been great both times that we have eaten there. Prices are good for the quantity of food you get. Very large selection of drinks. Drink prices are as expected for the area.

Awful service and awful food! I once ordered a salad that tasted like cardboard and my boyfriend’s wings were not well cooked they were pink. Save yourself the headache of waiting for the manager and them still wanting to charge you for food that’s inedible! Trust me!

Was my first time here even though I live ten minutes away. Very nice gentleman who greeted and sat us upon our arrival. Server was knowledgeable and very sweet. Checked up on us throughout the meal. I ordered the seafood mac which was just stupid delicious. The scallops were cooked to perfection. The mac itself was not too dry and not too wet. Had the perfect amount of creaminess. Served with garlic bread which was alright. Will for sure be back to try those Zingers everyone is talking about!

Hmmm not sure if it was the server or the cooks but the good was all bland and not so good. Seafood Sampler plate was huge and looked nice but all the food tasted the same. They forgot my salad, didn’t ask how I wanted my steak and for the potato order wrong. I’ll give it another try but not holding my breath.

Your food was on the pricey side before, now that you’re using the new plates with smaller portions, it’s maybe time to find another place to watch PPV’s. Between two people, we had three food orders(one app, two dinners) and every time had to track down a bartender to get silverware while the food sat and got cold. They weren’t busy, just paying more attention to the tv.

I love their sweet potatoes fries! Visiting the area for my bodybuilding competition. Came in and ordered the 7oz flat iron. When I got back to my hotel room to split the steak in 4oz and 3oz, the steak was only 4oz. We actually ordered three of the same flat iron and all were smaller than what it stated in the menu. We went back to ale house and the manager noticed that the steaks were on the small end and took care of us! I’ll be coming back! Thank you!

Friendly bartenders, tasty food and there’s always some sort of drink special. The Ale House is a chain and every location I’ve been to has been satisfactory. You can’t go wrong with their baby back ribs and zingers!

I have never had a bad experience here. Friendly staff, good food and drinks, plus tv’s. Great combo.

The water cups make me feel uncomfortable. Real uncomfortable… like the soda cups are so big and girthy… I don’t understand how someone can grip something so big… makes me feel obsolete somewhere else lol. Oh well zingers rule and the water cups don’t. HELPMEHOWARD

Never heard of fried potstickers before. This place is a little blahhh. If your health conscious, there are a ton of other options. I came here because I needed a pit stop quick. The waitress didn’t pay very much attention to my drink being empty. Bless her heart though, they probably don’t teach you that at FSU!!! Go canes!!! Everything on the menu has some form of meat in it, even when it sounds like a weird plate to have meat«breast of chicken sandwich», «blackened chicken key lime salad”(I’m curious). 1 of 10 salads are vegan. 2 of 10 being the house salad and the caeser salad(not vegan, I know I know). Here’s the summery, it’s a sports bar, get some friends together and party it up! So what if you’ll have gout the next morning? You’ll spend more time worried about why you can’t get the BBQ smell off your fingers.

There are many ale houses so the food and drinks are formalist and consistent, which is comforting plus the prices kick ass in general and especially for pitchers. Their house specialty is zingers(a boneless chicken in buffalo sauce) the only thing about this location I don’t like is no outside bar.

Overall: The food here is well… Spectacular! Especially their Wednesday lobster special. So if you’re craving something delicious at a great price, then definitely come here. The Food: My experience thus far has been really good here regarding their food. My only complaint is their Clam Chowder is REALLY, REALLY salty to the point where you just think to yourself«wow I shouldn’t eat this… This much salt is probably not good for me». So I didn’t finish my clam chowder. I am a huge soup/chowder eater and usually go to restaurants just for their soup or chowder, so the clam chowder here really disappointed me, and so I knocked off a star because of this. The Experience; Overall, the time you spend here is spent enjoying yourself. The staff is attentive, but sometimes very, very busy which comes natural in this type of restaurant. But overall it’s well-worth the money and time to come here, so give them a shot and try one of their daily specials.

Awesome desserts! Had the nutty butter and captain jacks. They are ice cream desserts. They are topped with fudge. The nutty butter has a caramel topping too. You can order a whole cake to take home. Sign up on their email list and you will receive a voucher for a free Captain Jacks during your birthday month. Great service. Plenty of parking in the attached parking lot behind the restaurant.

Miller’s Ale House also known as Miller’s Fort Lauderdale Ale House is a big, as in being pretty darn big, up to date sports bar, a part of a large chain of sports bar restaurants with locations all over Florida and within a good number of various other states. It has lots of flat screens, a bar with large seating, an abundance of dining booths, pool tables, and some game machines. The menu is rather expansive for a sports bar offering a fairly wide range of foods, everything from burgers and wraps to sea scallops, jambalaya and ossobuco. As far as the menu food goes, reasonably priced but mediocre at best couple with a distinct big chainy restaurant atmosphere. The shiny good thing about it are the daily specials which tend to generally be far better than their menu offerings, particularly their lobster specials. With the mediocre food, service and chainy atmosphere I can’t really say I’m a fan of the place, but it does offer plenty of free parking and is located in a structure of its own as opposed to being a part of the infamous South Florida strip mall locations. I suppose it’s OK, but as far as sports bars go, just doesn’t seem to be a place that is as much fun as are some of the others; matter of fact, at least to me, rather bland and boring.
