Great food… fast! Smiling employees… clearly enjoy their jobs too; as much as I enjoyed the food!

Disgusting food. Worst kebobs ever to have been made in all of life. No flavor no nothing. The service was crappie. The food portion was so damn small and so damn expensive. Made me throw up at night as well. What ever you do do not go here. Authentic crappie at its best. Overall I would never go there again. It’s so bad my dog wouldn’t even eat the leftover.

Stocking up on great Mediterranean food before I head back home to Lake Tahoe. Wish they had a location closer to home… but this place is always «must“on every trip to Fresno.

Nope. Just came here and was disappointed. I usually go to Churrascos and since I was in the area I decided to try this place out. I think the food is not worth the price. The chicken was flavorless. Save your money and go somewhere else. Try out Churrascos sometime. It’s a little hidden hem but it is so delicious and you get so much for your $$

food is good but I think for a casual restaurant where you order over the counter they are a bit overpriced. The food is not cooked until you order, you may have to wait up to 15 minutes for you food.

I like the food. Been coming since their downtown location but today was so awful. I waited for 30 mins and people who came after me were served before me. I was late to my engagement. Not coming here again. I’ll just go to Mediterranean grill. So upset with the service.

This was very very good food. We eat Mediterranean all over the country and this is the best in quite some time. Stop in and delight your taste buds!

This is an update to my previous review. About 2 years ago I gave this place 3 stars because it was just okay. Then we gave it another shot and ended up loving it and came back over and over. It had been a while since we had decided to eat here and one night about 2 weeks ago decided it sounded so good we couldn’t pass it up. I usually order the chicken kebob sandwich with no tomatoes, no onions and no lettuce but keep the parsley. Well, I guess someone decided since I didn’t want the other things that I would surely want XTRA parsley. Just look at the picture. Totally inedible. I had to throw it away and went to bed hungry. Never coming back here again!

Worst kebob I have ever had. I don’t know what are the reviews here are about, it’s either that you guys don’t know what Arabic food taste like or don’t have a taste.
Sorry, but my opinion that they don’t even deserve one star, and it’s expensive, I had a combination of beef and lula for $ 17+

It’s worth even the décor, I feel sorry for the owner. Such a waste on good cooking equipment and beautiful décor.

The best grapes leaves and tabouli in town. Everything cooked fresh. Might have to wait a few minutes but worth the wait

The hummus is amazing! The best hummus I’ve ever tried before. The service was great… The cashier was very helpful about the menu. Customers order at the register then seat themselves. Our food came out in a timely manner. The rice pilaf was soggy. The salads are ok. However the lamb, chicken, and beef are very very dry and plain in flavor. The dishes look very appetizing but they don’t taste that great. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

The food here was very much lacking in flavor.
The girl that took my boyfriend and I’s order was pretty rude and then proceeded to say how «awkward» we were once she thought we couldn’t hear her, though my boyfriend did.
They obviously need to be taught to be a little more respectful towards customers.
Sad because I was really looking forward to trying this place.
Pretty poor service and we definitely don’t plan on coming back.

Been here twice in two weeks for the first time and it was amazing. I had the steak plate and my boyfriend had their chicken plate. The chicken was cooked perfect not too dry and the beef was marinated and cooked to just a little above medium rare. Juicy and pink center. Everything had very good flavor. Their pilaf was buttery and their salad was to die for. I’m drooling as I type. I will definitely go back again and maybe bring by whole family along. Keep up the awesome work!
Oh btw, restaurant was nice and tidy, bathroom clean and service was exceptional. 5 stars for sure!

Food was not the worse but definitely not the best. The garlic sauce seemed very old and gummy, texture of toothpaste. Taste was not appealing. The fatoush salad was very bitter, had not flavor, I don’t like my food salty. So you can imagine how uninspired this salad was. The hummus was very thick and iced cold, like it was stored in the very back of the refrigerator and gotten a bit frozen. Chicken kabob was ok. I wouldn’t go back.

I like to explore other Mediterranean food joints to always compare what it tastes like VS eating it at home, while most can agree that home cooking is best, it doesn’t hurt to see what others are eating too.
Kebab Express only had a few guests when we walked in and was prompt with service, just by looking at the prices of the items I realized they seemed more pricier than other places I’ve tried.
I personally picked up the Veggie Plate $ 10.99, it included;
— 2 Falafel
— 2 Yalanchi (I hate these because they’re cold, I love my stuffed grape leaves cooked)
— Hummus + Tahini
— Fathoush Salad
— Pita bread
My family picked up the lamb, beef plate and chicken wrap. They enjoyed their meals as we’ll however the food in its entirety could have tasted better. They did complain the meat was a little pink however we know this to be an issue as over cooking it can lead it to be ‘dry’ (I’m no meat expert).
I wasn’t a fan of the rice, hummus, tahini or the pickled turnips (everyone knows how important these are!). Everything else was just ‘okay’, was it worth the $ 50? Not really, but it was worth trying.
From now on I think ill just stick to Broilers, it’s been a family favorite forever and now I understand why.

The best kebab place in Fresno. Perfect example of Armenian-​Lebanese cuisine. Everything is fresh and great tasting.
The spicing on the meat the use is fantastic and the pillaf and vegetables are amazing. I am accustomed to eating home-​cooking in this style and I loved it so much I catered my birthday party with food from here.
Come here if you have some extra cash for food and want to be very satisfied, you are paying for the quality.

Service was amazingly friendly and we got our food fast.
I read all the reviews about how great the food is. Maybe we caught them on an off day. It looked and smelled wonderful! But was lacking flavor. I expect big flavors when I order Mediterranean, so I was a little disappointed.
But I will try it again, since so many people rave about it, and because of the great service.

I am in love with this place. I just wrote a review for it on 4 – 26 but I have been back several times since.
Since my initial visit, when I just tried the kids bowl with beef, I have expanded my horizons and ordered an ‘adult’ meal.
First I want to touch on the customer service aspect of this business… they are really great. They are all so friendly and really make you feel like you are family when you are dining here. Since I am fairly new to a lot of things on the menu, they are very patient to explain them to me and have offered me samples of items before I shell out the money on something that I may hate. I really appreciate that.
Now onto the food, which in my opinion is far more deserving than 5 stars!!! In my most recent visits I have ordered the #2, the Beef Kebab plate. It comes with your choice of rice (Pilaf, Bulgar or ½ and ½), salad (regular or fattoush), hummus, steamed veggies (carrots and broccoli) and pita bread. Since my last visit they have raised the price of this combo up by $ 1, it is now $ 13.99 which sucks but the meat is oh soooooooo good!!!
The Beef in the #2 meal is so tender and moist, you would think that you were eating a filet mignon. I mentioned this in my previous review, and the quality has not changed during all of my subsequent visits. I don’t know where they get there meat or what they do to it, but they are doing it right. I hate that the meal is $ 13.99 but here you are paying for the quality, not quantity.
The bulgar rice is still my favorite over the pilaf. I also really like the fattoush salad. I like how they have enough dressing and crispy pita strips and bell peppers. The salad would be good enough to eat alone as a light meal. The hummus is good as well and has a light ‘kick’ towards to end, but it is not spicy by any means.
The restaurant itself is always clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great tasting meal and outstanding customer service!!!

This place is literally the best. Always made fresh, always delicious. It’s a bit on the expensive side so I don’t get to go as often as I’d like, but at least I know I’m always gonna get what I came for!
I typically get the rice pilaf, veggies, and salad. SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING HARD TO MAKE SPECIAL, but trust me. Whatever spices they use are magical. Deliciousssss!
