dd’s DISCOUNTS

First time in a dds store and my last. Manager and associates are rude. They should get fired and hire people who loves their job and treats customers with respect.

I swear this store always make mistakes! They take forever and they don’t pay attention to their costumers. I always have to wait in a long line every time I am there. Next time I am seeking my business else where!

This place is just a mess. There has not been a single time when I’ve gone there and it was actually neat. Nope, never. Don’t count on it.

Cashiers look unhappy. I have to grab my own receipt, it might as well be a self checkout. They say, «have a nice day» like robots with no feelings, it means nothing, you’re not really wishing a great day for me. Unorganized and messy.

Always super busy, never enough cashiers, messy store, lame men’s shoe selection. Some of the décor and auto stuff is alright but not enough to stand in line for one million years to buy it. I’ve never had a problem with any of the employees, they’ve always been pleasant. But don’t get me started on some of the ratchet people that shop there.

Was here with my wife to get some new wine glasses as we were having company that week. All i can really say is that they dont treat customers with respect. They treat them like thieves. My wife pulled out her wallet to make sure she had her check card. She then put her wallet back in her purse. A loss prevention person came up to her while we were in line. He asked her to step out of line. He asked my wife to take out the merchendice she took. My wife was dumbfounded. As was i. I was in the process of telling him that he can back off and call the police if he wanted to search her purse, when my wife dumped her purse out on the check stand counter. She pointed to the wallet in dispute. Her 198 dollar coach wallet. She asked the gentleman if this belonged to the store. He said no mam. There was no other wallet there. He looked dumbfounded. My wife put everything back in the purse, minus trash and tissues and wrappers tee hee, and we left without buying anything. Will never ever go back

This place is so crappy. Not only is the store extremely messy and unorganized, but the workers are extremely rude and unhelpful. I’ve been to several DD’s Discounts in other areas but none them were as bad an experience as this one.
I browsed around the store for quite some time and the store actually has nice merchandise but the layout is terrible and they need more workers to keep the store clean. The aisles are way too narrow. I don’t even know why they have carts there. You can’t fit two carts going two ways down an aisle and the store is always busy so you’ll constantly be running into people and saying «Excuse me!» it’s just an overall annoying and inconvenient shopping experience.
What took the cake for me was the fact that I had purchased like 7 frames and other wall décor that were really heavy, too heavy to lift and take to my car all by myself without breaking my friggin back. When I got to the checkout and asked if I could have someone help me out to my car the worker said «Oh no, I don’t think we have anyone for that. You’ll have to take them by yourself» and proceeded to check out the next person in line. I was livid! There were a bunch of other workers there that I saw while shopping but when I said F it and went back into the store to find someone to help me for myself, they had All seemed to magically disappear. I had to carry everything to my car by myself with all the checkers looking at me every time I came in and out of the store as if saying «oh you poor thing…» That experience was enough for me to say I’d never go back to that DD’s ever again. Customer service goes a long way. All it takes is one bad experience for me and it’s a wrap. The workers were so unhelpful and just rude overall so I’ll never be back to this hell hole.
