The food and service here is hit and miss. The appetizers have always been tasty, and the one with chimichangas, taquitos, etc is our favorite. The Mexican pizza is delicious. I still prefer the cedar and Herndon location, but this is the closet one to my house.

Casa Corona was not my cup of tea at all. I had some issues especially with the food. The service was awesome by the way! Our server was very nice and attentive. She handled all my requests(Paying before getting my meal, dietary needs) very very well. However I was bit disappointed in the food served. She also kept refilling the chips and salsa for us! I ordered the«quinto tacos» with carne asada. The meal was very generous contrary to what the description said. First the food was lukewarm when I received it. Secondly, the tacos were DROWING in cilantro and cabbage so the tacos were just too overpowered with cilantro. The green sauce that was served in a little to-go cup was flavorless and felt like snot. The spicy hot sauce is what kept me going to be honest. I asked for some red sauce in which our server kindly brought to us. The hot sauce spout was dried and caked in old hot sauce which looked disgusting. The meal I ordered was lacking in flavor and I was pretty bummed.

Came here as a last resort because everything in fresno on a sunday lol food was really good and our waitress was really sweet. The salsa and chips were amazing, we had two bowls which didnt allow us to finish our food. A good spot for mexican food in fresno, good food, reasonable prices, good energy. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will be coming back.

My husband and I have been regulars at Casa on Bullard & West since its opening, and while we have always enjoyed the food and drinks, management of the restaurant has always left a lot to be desired. The wait staff service in the bar area has proved to be better than the dining room area. Not sure how many managers this location has but one manager in particular, Kristen, is totally ineffective and useless. We had complained about service in the dining area before as well as friends and family telling us of the same issues with her. She doesn’t take responsibility and puts things in the lap of the servers instead of handling issues herself. Very very passive aggressive. We were in the restaurant in November just before thanksgiving. We sat at a table in the bar area, we’d had food and drinks and we’re watching football. We had ordered drinks, mine came but his didn’t. No big deal, we waited. And waited and waited. After about 15 minutes I went over to the bar and let them know that one of our drinks still hadn’t come. I was told its on its way. 15 minutes more went by with no drink(half hour by now). This time my husband went up to the bar and asked about his drink, explaining that he ordered our drinks 30 minutes ago, I got mine & he still hasn’t got his after being told 15 min ago that it was on its way. The bartender then told him that he had been ‘cut off’. My husband was bewildered… ‘Cut off? From having another drink?’, he asked. Yes was the response from the bartender. Why, my husband asked. The bartender told him that the waitress complained to the manager, Kristen, that my husband ‘threw’ his credit card towards her after he ordered the drinks, and that she feels he should be cut off because of it. Kristen gave the waitress the permission to do so. The waitress then went and told the bartender that my husband was cut off. The bartender wanted to know why, the waitress then explained to him everything the bartender was now telling my husband. This apparently was why my husbands drink never came, even though I had been told it was on its way. At no point did the waitress, or more importantly, the manager come and say or explain anything to my husband and I that he had been cut off. Needless to say we were both shocked and completely without understanding. I was right there when my husband ordered our drinks, he did NOT throw his credit card. What actually happened was a few of his cards fell out of his card holder onto the floor as he was getting his card out while ordering our drinks. As he bent down to retrieve them, he SLID the credit card across the table towards the waitress. That’s it! We would have been happy to explain this had the manager bothered to do her job and come tell us that my husband wasn’t going to be served anymore, but she never did that. Neither did the waitress, which we feel was totally wrong. If a server feels confident enough that a customer should be cut off from service to actually go tell their manager, then they should have the decency to tell the customer. That didn’t happen. Instead they just left us sitting there wondering where his order was, and left the deed of telling my husband to the poor bartender. My husband many years ago used to be a bouncer. Both of my kids were servers for years in high school and the whole time they were in college. So we are not without experience and understanding when it comes to working in a restaurant. The problem we have with this incident at Casa Corona is that we strongly feel that it was the job of the manager, Kristen, to have come over to talk to us after her waitress came to her about my husband ‘throwing’ his credit card at her. We feel that a good manager would have and should have bothered to find out if what she was told was the truth or not. We feel that a decent manager who makes the decision to have a customer cut off from service, regardless of wether she believed the waitress or the customer, should be the one to come over and let the customer know instead of putting the responsibility on a clueless bartender. As a manager… DOYOURJOB! Find out if what you’re being told is true! As a manager… if you decide a customer is going to be cut off, then have a spine and TELLTHEMYOURSELF! We have spent thousands at Casa Carona since its opening and had been regulars. After this incident, we have not been back. We have since ‘heard’ that Kristen has left Casa Caronas employ. We feel thats one of the best things that could have happened to the restaurant.

Just dropped $ 70 on a meal for 5 people — prices are fine but the service was the worst — took 1 ½ hours to get our food and it was ice cold. It would be different if it was crowded but there were only a handful of customers besides ourselves. Ordered the sampler cheese was cold and chewy — also the California burrito — was also very cold and the rice was terrible bland and, surprise– ice cold. This was the 3rd separate time we’ve had this experience so won’t be returning.

I wrestled between 2 stars or 3 stars but settled on 3 because the staff was friendly. I was seated right away but it took about 10 minutes before a server came to my table. The busboy brought me water and chips fairly quickly but I’ll reiterate, it took awhile for a server to come. The food? Nothing special or memorable… very bland. I ordered a 3 way combo, 2 ground beef enchiladas and a Chile rellano. Again, with so many Mexican eateries to choose from in Fresno/Clovis, there just was nothing memorable enough to make me want to come back.

Practically had a drink in my hand the minute I walked in. Approached by three servers at the bar to make sure I had all I needed. Amazing drinks and food. My drink was never empty longer than I wanted it, great experience. Will be back for sure.

Ok, the first time I came here I honestly have no clue what I had/ordered and or drank but it was a great night but that was quite some time ago for a friends birthday about 2 years ago. Came back originally wanted to try another Mexican restaurant but they were closing. Came here instead. After 5 hours in the emergency room I worked up a major appetite and was craving Mexican. This place did NOTDISAPPOINT! I know I know I became of those that comes to a restaurant at about closing time. literally 5 minutes till 9 and they close at 9. But no worries I left a really nice tip. Anywho so many items on the menu to choose from. I literally and originally wanted chicarron tacos but I settled for the 3-item meal: chicken tamale, enchilada, and chili relleno. It was tasty and savory to the pallet but against doctors orders and recommendations I HADTO lime and tapita eurrythang. I’m sure my doctor will be upset when she sees me tomorrow but I couldn’t resist. Bad habits die hard right? Anywho rice was cooked to perfection and it’s amazing because it was CLOSING time, still fresh and fluffy. I think they knew I was coming retried beans never a favorite, I just can’t do it but I ate the living hell out of these ones. The a commendations that the staff did for me, amazing! Fresh cut limes, cherries in my coke. I am highly grateful! The California burrito my little mini me ordered. Awesomeness! Tortilla deep fried to a crisp perfection. Carne asada, fries and rice were steamy hot. Atmosphere: it would seem like a relaxed and chill vibe. I wouldn’t know I went there 5 minutes till closing but seems quite cozy. Decorations: catches the eye. They have separate rooms, very clean establishment. The workers are very a dement of making sure tables are cleared off in a quickness. Maybe next time I’ll come at a more suitable time. Surely not my last.

I’m the organizer of a Meetup group, Fresno Couples 30s-50s. We had Couple’s Night Out here last night on the patio. Thank you to Armando for accommodating all of us and letting us reserve the patio for our event. The heaters kept us nice and cozy, and Elizabeth(our server) did an amazing job taking care of us. All of the staff was very friendly. A fun time was had by all! This was my first time here, and I will definitely come back again.

This is one of the better Mexican restaurants out there. I am not a huge fan of Mexican food, but this place made me like it a little more. Awesome scenery and genuine service equal an awesome place to enjoy some delicious food.

First time at this location as we just moved to this side of town, our previous go to spot was El Toro so I was always scared to try new places because usually I was left disappointed. So glad we came here, the food and drinks were amazing, and came out really fast. The waitress /hostess were friendly, everything all around was just great! We will definitely be coming back.

We have held two graduation parties(~30 people) in the patio here. They are so flexible with the party rules, you can really make it your own party. You can choose to minimize the menu or not. They allow you to bring decoration and dessert. Down payment is not needed, and everyone can be on separate tabs. The first party went so smooth and organized, there were no mistakes. In the second party, it wasn’t as smooth and quick, but, we still enjoyed the patio, service, and food. The food is worth it. We brought many friends here. Highly recommend the patio for parties.

First time visiting the restaurant and I’m a fan. Came in with my family after Freshman football and everyone was hungry. Friendly staff and great service. They did a great job of getting everyone’s drink order out promptly and dinner orders were the same. I had the carnitas and a margarita. Carnitas was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Second time in a row. Terrible service. Killing me! We waited more than 10 min for drinks and chips. Beer came not cold. Once I understand things happen. But two times in a row. Next time we go back to our spit. Antonio’s Mexican restaurant in river park.

My husband & I went here on our date night & it was wonderful! It was over 100 degrees so we weren’t sure about sitting on the patio but I’m so glad we decided to. It was like an oasis in the desert. Their patio is all closed off & they have some kind of vines growing up over the gates so you can hardly see the street & parking area. It was dark so they had the patio lights on(clear Christmas lights). It was beautiful! They also had water misters & ceiling fans going to keep it cool. Must have been because the patio is closed in because they did a great job. We started with drinks: margarita for me & beer for my husband. Then we split a chimichanga dinner which was a very generous portion & came with rice, beans, sour cream, & guacamole. It was more than enough for both of us. We didn’t even finish it all. The food & drinks were very good, our server was attentive & made sure we were taken care of the whole time we were there, & the atmosphere couldn’t be beat! If you’re looking for a nice date night, that’s where I would go & definitely sit on the patio!

Atmosphere was welcoming! And the smell!!! OMG reminded me of my grandmas house when I was little! My fiancé and I LOVED our meal. Hot, delicious and full of flavor! My babez had the Burrito Royal Chili verde style and I had the lunch combo, a chili relleno and a chicken burrito. We will DEFINITELY be back when we come to the area!

I can’t count how many times I’ve been to the Casa on Herndon, so needless to say my fiancé and I were excited to see this new one open on Bullard. There are a ton of great Mexican restaraunts in town but there is something about Casa that makes it one of our favorites. We love the atmosphere and décor, location(s), the food of course, and the service. I always get the same thing everytime… the burrito royale(verde is better than con carne). It is nothing fancy or nutritious, but it is delish! Half the time I always end up eating too many chips with salsa before I even order so I leave extra stuffed. Last time we were in specifically, the food was served so fast it actually beat our drink order from the bar back to the table. It was amazing. Whether you are coming for a drink at the bar, sitting down with the family in the dining area, or relaxing on the patio, you will leave Casa satisfied… «I guarantee it» #guyfromthemenswherehouse

Going to be up for a late dinner and tea to with my daughter and my sister. What shocked me the most, is bad at 11 o’clock they were still open and serving! way to go for restaurant in Fresno on a work day. I had a crab to be to salad which was very tasty. They serve it as an appetizer but you could quite possibly have it as a non friends if you have a smaller appetite. My daughter ordered the Mexican pizza which was a great place on pizza with. Ice that was sweeter than sweet. The horchata we ordered was also very sweet. I would recommend that you keep an extra glass of water to cut your drink. Overall the Mexican food was really great and it was a great ambiance. I was wondering why I have not gone there sooner. I most definitely will be back!

I’ve been here several times and have yet to leave disappointed. The staff is professional and friendly. The drinks are awesome! Their house drink, the Casa Cucumber, is the perfect blend of spicy and refreshing… it’s one of my favorites! The food always tastes fresh and so delicious, it’s really hard to pick a favorite dish. The portions are perfect. From start, to finish, my visits to Casa Corona are always great ones. I always suggest this place to people in search of a great Mexican restaurant.

I just went to casa corna with my fiancé and my friends. One met up with a worker who was off her shift had I a beer and my fiancé had a marg. She took off and I paid for both drinks and tipped the bartender, my friend got a call from the young lady that worked there that a employee called her saying I didn’t pay for my drink. Not cool don’t think I will ever go back!!! I have a copy of my receipt. Would not recommend I would put half a star but does not deserve a full star.
