The BAD(in short)…Best Buy Mobile in the Fresno Fashion Fair Mall is unprofessional, rude, condescending, and possesses the WORST Customer service I have ever encountered. The LONG…3 days ago my husband and I purchased glass screen protectors for our Apple 6+ iPhones in Visalia, CA(who by the way are always fantastic and provide excellent customer service). We elected to have the screen protectors applied in the store(reasonable $ 8 fee) we were informed that if not satisfied with the application within 14 days we could simply return to any Best Buy store and have the screen protectors exchanged and reapplied. My husband and I both needed our screen protectors exchanged. We were«assisted» by the general manager, Lacey Hampton at the Best Buy Mobile Store in the Fashion Fair Mall. Our request for an exchange was denied for several reasons, each time her reasoning was questioned, she became increasingly condicending. Initially her excuse was that store would lose $ 50 per screen if exchange was granted. Second, she demanded to know the name of the employee who applied the screens, as she needed to call and confirm with the associate that the screens where in fact applied incorrectly(It’s safe to say someone forgot their thinking cap today!) Finally, Lacey stated that she must contact Visalia management to confirm 14 day exchange policy. She steped to the back, returned several minutes later and informed us that she spoke with management and has determined that we were provided with false information and that there is no such exchange policy in place. I requested to speak with a manger familiar with store policy. She informed me that she indeed was the manager. I requested she provide me with her name… she graciously appliged and tossed her business card at me. Feeling defeated I contacted the Best Buy of Visalia and spoke with the manager of accessories, Felipe, who confirmed the vadility of the policy. He was apologetic and encouraged us to return to his store and he would take care of us, he also stated that he did not speak with Lacey regarding this issue. So, Lacey either spoke to a different Visalia Best Buy manager who, like her, is naïve in exchange policies for their stores or she LIED about ever speaking to a manager. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt.
