Great food, the tortas are delicious and the chocomil de chocolate is my favorite. There is usually only one person there when I go so if a lot of people come in at the same time it may take a little while, but it’s totally worth it. Sometimes I only want to buy a drink but the minimum balance to pay with debit or credit is $ 10 and I don’t often carry cash so I have to go without :/

I got a mango diablito it was good, but the mango was too small. Good price and basic décor. I plan to return.

Variety of antojito options and lots of room to hang out and chill. My favorite is the tostiloco and their torta cubana. They even have wifi!

Fresh, filling and authentic! The tortas here are not your usual tortas filled with carnitas, al pastor, ect. instead you have a choice of healthy alternatives. I got the pavo torta and I was very impressed! I also got a liquado de platano and it was very creamy and delicious! When I am craving fresh tortas and a homemade smoothie, I would definitely be back.

According to the cashier their fruit drinks are fresh. I ordered a mango fruit drink and the color was a bright reddish orange color which automatically told me that it wasn’t fresh. It tasted like mango candy. The only thing fresh about the drink are the pieces of mango in the drink. The ham torta was okay. Bread was toasted well but the torta overall was okay. Not the best torta for me.

Love coming here on my lunch break. The mixta torta is delicious! It has ham, bacon sausage, pineapple, avocado, jalapenos and onions. The raspados are fresh and so good too.

Been here more times that I can count and it’s sad to say that the quality of their food has declined. We go for their raspados. Their diablitos and magoneadas are nothing special. There is no real flavor. Just ice with chile and lemon. I can’t taste the mango or tamarindo when I get it made with them in it. The vanilla one just tastes like sugar and milk. The strawberry flavored one is probably the best one. Their tostilocos are pretty bad. They have an off flavor to them and I think it’s because they have all of the stuff they put into it already prechopped and in the fridge and it tastes like it just sits there for days. I understand chopping everything up in the morning and then using it throughout the day but it’s gross if it’s been sitting there for days. The cueritos had a funky taste to them as well the last time I was there. I can’t speak for the tortas since I have not tried them. but c’mon it’s a torta! Not even the kind you buy at taco places but like the sandwich kind de jamon. Their service is good though. The owner is always there and he is very friendly and helpful. He makes you feel welcome and will take the time to explain everything on the menu. It seems like he has added a lot more employees and they all seem pleasant.

Hands down my favorite place to get tortas in Fresno. They taste fresh and aren’t smothered in fat like so many other places I’ve visited. I see it as the perfect blend between a Mexican torta and a deli sandwich. Can’t remember the name of mine but it had ham, pineapple, cheese, jalapeños and maybe even grilled onions. So delicious. Worth every penny.

This place is amazing to come have a fresh made torta. It is very authentic. They have fresh made juices and malts. They also serve fruit cups. They do not have a huge menu so it’s easy to choose. Perfect for lunch and morning dates.

Love this place! I usually get the Torta de Jamon con todo, Large Strawberry drink & Large Mango/Strawberry raspado. The service is perfect and they are one of the best eating places in Fresno! More people need to try them out! :)

A special treat I find irresistible is any one of the delicious tortas at Bachata Café, a very clean and pleasant locally-owned eatery at Gettysburg and Fresno in Fresno, where the first language is Spanish. Great for lunch, to go or dine-in. So good, I’d proudly drag my whole family in there! Big thumb’s up for the Torta Mixta, Torta Hawaiiana and Torta Cubana. Tried one of their aguas — Sandía — it was amazing. Fresh. Have not tried their specialty Mexican shaved ice smoothie yet. A regular stop for me, so I shall soon. If you can read Español at a college level, they have an awesome mini-bookstore of Mexican paperback books on a little bookshelf all for sale. They have everything on that shelf from biographies to cookbooks to classical literature.
