U S Sewing Machine

We took my White 565 to John for maintenance. He did an amazing job! I can’t imagine going to anyone else. He knows his machines!

U.S. Sewing Machine is where my Mom got her Singer repaired in my long past youth, and they’re as good as ever!
Friendly and knowlegeable, John gives a level of service that’s hard to find in this age of Big Box stores. The shop is filled with quality sewing machines, including workhorse vintage Singer machines, and many machines waiting for quality repairs.
My own need wasn’t for a sewing machine, but for a pulley and belt for a surplus sewing machine motor for one of my gem cutting machines. John not only had the parts at a great price, he spent a (very!) good half hour chatting with me about our respective businesses. He’s a great guy!
I’ll be back to visit U.S. Sewing Machine when I need good advice for building a new machine. That’ll be very soon!

Quick, friendly, insightful customer service. I bought my first Necchi from here and recieved 10 free spools of thread, as many bobbins as I could grab, with free lessons AND a whole year to trade in my machine! Recommend to everyone over any other shop. Family owned since the 70s

I have a business in sewn product manufacturing and I’ve taken three machines into John for tune-​ups, parts, or repair. All of my machines have come back repaired and cleaned and at a fair price.
I’ve been to a bunch of shops around Fresno and I didn’t seem to be listened to as carefully as by John, so that is why I brought my first machine in to him. I need my machines to work, and I’m glad John understands that.
Another thing is, that I like all the extra touches he brings to the work. Little hints and tips pepper our conversation and I appreciate that willingness to go the extra mile. John sells sewing machines, give lessons, and does repairs. I don’t know how long he’s been in this business, but he seems to know a great deal of history.
