Love the fact that they are open so late, this make it easy for me to get my laundry done on my time. Always machines available when I go in:) I like that they use refillable cards, putting quarters in the machine was annoying lol.

First of, the name of this place is «Mega wash». For first timers, you have to purchase a card for buck and add money to it if you want to use the machines. Price wise I’m not to sure if it’s expensive or not cause I haven’t been to a laundromat in years. 2.503.50 and 4.50 wash machines and 30 cent for 8 mins for dryers. Place seems decently clean. I see workers cleaning every time I go there. I avoid peak hours because it’s gets really crowded. I go after 10 pm and it’s always empty. They offer free soaps but I haven’t tried them yet, I bring my own. Cloth come out clean and dry so not much for me to complain about.

I brought in the laundry on a Friday. The guy said he would have it Saturday but I was unable to pick it up on Saturday and when I went there on Sunday, it was NOT ready! Really? It was sitting in a basket for who knows how long waiting to be folded and that’s what I had to do wait. He was full of excuses but the bottom line is that if you bring in wash, nothing that has to be pressed, all sheets as a matter of fact, and they cannot finish and fold them in three days, who needs them? They aren’t cheap, the place is not all that clean and I don’t need excuses about their issues — it’s not what I am paying for. Oh, yes he said I had a credit on my «account’ nothing in writing and I won’t be using that credit.

It’s 11:00PM on a Monday night and this isn’t Manhattan or the inner city. 24-hour laundromat are pretty much non-existent in the outskirts of queens and Nassau county. I drove almost 15 minutes to get here and it was worth it. Most places charge more than a few dollars for a car but this place charges only $ 1.00. You can add money to the cards as well. Tons of machines around and a very well lit and secure with TV’s so you don’t feel like you’ll get your wallet stolen while you’re washing your boxers(or tightie whities if that’s how you roll). Area looks pretty safe too. Had to comment on thy because I’m not parking my C300 in a random ghetto area. Parking in the front too(parking lot and street parking). Only downside I can say for this laundromat are the small amount of seats and lack of public wifi. There was no password listed anyway. Very minimal but reception sort of sucks around this area if you have Verizon.

So my cat puked on my bed late at night and the laundry room in my building has washers that are too small for my king sized blanket… I was about to strangle the cat and decided to scour the internet looking for a 24⁄7 laundromat in my area. This one popped up… but the Unilocal reviews weren’t that great. Stuck with cat puke on my blanket, I had little option(either go check them out or put the puke covered blanket in a bag and wait until the next morning for drop off service. The temperature outside was 12 degrees… decision made, I needed my blanket. So I drive over and am I glad I did. The place is, for the most part clean. They had a worker cleaning the machines and the table tops when I strolled in at 10:30pm. The place smells of mildew so I asked one of the customers how the clothes came out and she said they were fine. She was a frequent customer and never had a problem. You buy a card for $ 1 to use the machines and then load the card with some cash. The machines vary in price(washers up to $ 5.50 for super capacity and driers are $ 0.30 per 6 or 8 minutes depending on size of drier). Like others that have noted, yes I have a card with spare monies on it. Unlike them I won’t complain, I know my cat will puke again on my blanket. Blanket came out fine. Completely clean and smelling April fresh. I will go back to use this laundromat again for larger items.

I cannot believe how outrageously expensive this place is. $ 2.25 for a washer that is too small for anything and $ 3.50 for a regular-sized washer. And they force you to spend $ 1 to buy a plastic card that you have to add money to with bills only — so of course you cannot add the right amount. Dryers are $ 0.30 for 8 minutes! On top of that, one of my washers did not spin at all. And kids running and screaming and playing ball for an hour. Not going here again!

i went here three times now because of the sheer size of this place. there are so many machines that even when there are tons of people there, you can literally go in and out in about 1.5 hours(even after folding all your clothes). however, this place is filthy. the floors are always dirty. so dirty that i can’t put my laundry basket/bag on the ground. also, during the summer i saw tiny little bugs crawling on one of the folding tables. ew! be sure to bring disinfectant wipes or rubbing alcohol to wipe down the tables before folding your laundry on there. oh, and there is NOONE there to ever help you. ever.
