The subway may look good but the owner, she is one hell of a lady, she doesnt realizes that mopping the floor while serving he food isnt OK, and then she talks/screams in her language all the time with employees while customers are being served. She needs to learn some basic manners — I will never go there ever.

i dont want to give even 1star but that is least. over hear employees have no manner they dont know how to behave with patrons. i usually come over with my friends every time i face bad scenario. first time when i went for cut my subway which was not properly cut. one of employee told me they dont have time… serioulsy second time i had argument regarding to coupons… specifically there is written any drink with 6inch… one employee force us to buy big drink… they dont accept ecoupons. i want to suggest guys u are running business keep some humbleness. at least dont get angry when customer ask for something…

This is my favorite subway in the Fremont Newark area. When I come in they recognize me from previous visits and always ask how I have been. Been there so much they remember how I like my sandwiches(bread, meats, condiments). The everything is always fresh when I have ordered and I can really taste the difference between this subway and others in the area. I always get tuna and meatball sandwiches. Tuna is fresh as are the meatballs but also their tomato sauce is not watered down like most other locations. When I bring in my son they always say hi to him. Nice friendly atmosphere. I am a regular here and plan to come back again.

This is worst subway I have been to and will Never return. The female cashier was trying to rip us off, charging for things that should not have been extras. My co-worker and I used a coupon that if you buy any 6 inch and a drink, the second 6 inch is free. I ordered the turkey with bacon and avocado. She rung up the bacon and avocado as extras. I told her that it is one of their local favorites sandwich and It comes with the sandwich. She then argues with me that the coupon is not for premium sandwiches which does not include bacon and avocado. Afterwards, I read the coupon again since I had some extras laying around in my car. I went back in and told her that it just says any 6 inch sandwich, and does not say anything about premium anywhere. She finally rung me up w/o the bacon and avocado. BEWARE if you use coupon. Know what it says or they will tack on charges and claims it’s not part of the coupon.

I’ve read others comments and tend to agree with them, although I don’t particularly care if they smile at me or not, but if they did, I would certainly notice and appreciate it. So for me it was not a deal breaker until recently. I used my ATM card to make a purchase one day, and I as I normally do, I checked my bank statement a few days later. Well wouldn’t you know it. They had charged me twice on the same day. It couldn’t have been a previous charge because I am an infrequent visitor, and I often go there by myself. I did request that the bank remove the charge which they did. I don’t know if this was an honest mistake or not, either way, I will just be moving on.

The only Subway where they make you feel unwelcome and how dare you have them to make a sandwich. Also don’t ask them to substitute regular bread for flat bread in a kids combo meal because it will not happen. It’s a wonder they are still open.

Nope. No. I’ve been to my fair share of Subways and this takes the cake for one of the worst. 1. This store is inconvenient to access from Grimmer and also inconvenient to leave. If I’m coming down Grimmer towards Paseo, I have to make a u-turn to get here. When I leave, if I want to continue down Grimmer towards Paseo, I have to make a right turn from the parking lot and make a u-turn before I can drive back down Grimmer. 2. The employees here always skimp on the veggies. I got a tuna sub and asked for«everything» on it, but the guy making the sub neglected to add any spinach. No big deal, I asked for spinach after he finished. He adds 3 leaves. Huh? 3. The employee working the cash register gave me the wrong change — he forgot to give me $ 10 of it. Now, I understand people make mistakes and I’m not pointing fingers here but I saw him count out the change from the register and hand it to me. I thought it something looked a little off so I quickly counted and surprise! $ 10 was missing. He did quickly apologize and give me the $ 10, but I wonder what would have happened if I didn’t think to check? 4. The last time I came here, I felt a little sick after eating the sub. Not 100% sure if it’s the sub that did it but I didn’t have anything aside from the sub that day up to that point. I probably won’t be coming coming back any time soon.

Skimpy on the veggies compared to subway on Fremont and Mowry. I shouldn’t have strayed! I have been waiting for 30 mins now for someone to fix the tea… it poured out clear sugar water. A young girl finally just came and checked it. Done with meal, had to drink something else. Wasn’t busy. Three workers with most people in line…5. I had to prompt them 3 times to fix the tea and each time I got a devious smile or smirk from the tall girl, gaps in teeth, acne, looks very young and obviously has an attitude problem. Very disappointed. Won’t come here again! Manager needs to revamp his staff!

This is the worst subway I have ever been to! It is dirty, there are flys all over and the employees are so rude! I had a horrible experience here where there were little gnats flying all around and the girl making my sandwich had one on her, and the other employee smashed it for her. Yuckk! They were so rude too! I had to repeat what type of bread and cheese I wanted like 5 times!

It’d get one star if it were not for the very few people who work here that are great with customers and sandwich making. And since a few have quit over the past year, its down to the two young employees that are louder and happy looking. That’s it. Everyone else seems to be irritated with being there and having to make other people sandwiches. even ones who look Like their in charge and sound sort of friendly, will be kind of rude and try to over charge you and mess up on your order. I’ve gotten sick a couple times after eating here, but still continue to go here from time to time when I don’t want to drive down to the other subway on Fremont & Washington. It isn’t that far from this location and its worth the friendly service. They’ve made things a couple times forgetting certain ingrediants and burning sandwiches in the toaster. The change machine will ALWAYS steal a penny. Forced gratuity? Hah.

Looks like this Subway is in need of an update! Note: This rating is based off of the fact that it’s fast food, it’s a subway review for heavens sake! Hahaha. I’ve gone to this Subway for many many years, and as of late it’s been a good experience. I usually find the same girls there and none of them seem to be a hassle to order from. If I ask for more lettuce I get more lettuce and if I ask for more sauce, I get more. What else can I say, it’s usually a good experience here and I can’t complain

Don’t come here. I’ve been to this Subway’s since high school. The service and food have been getting steadily worse, to the point where now I only go to the Subways at Washington & Fremont. This place has gone down the drain. The person who is usually there to service customers is a middle aged woman who never smiles and is very stingy with the ingredients. I asked for extra lettuce on my sandwich, which to her seemed to have meant«Please give me the smallest amount possible!» I again asked her for some more, and she gave me the same marginal amount. It’s iceberg lettuce. Are you really that stingy? Another one of the workers has the same«doesn’t care about customer satisfaction» attitude. On the last two trips I have been here, she was on the phone when I walked in and simply turned her back on me after a quick glance. The only worker who is friendly and cares about the customer is a girl with tattooed arms — but as much as I like her, I can’t forget about all of the other crappy experiences I’ve had at this place. Don’t come here.
