Super overpriced. I have had better food at Applebee’s. We went here thinking we it would be a more exclusive place compared to Olive Garden but we were very disappointed. Save your money and go to a larger chain restaurant which has better food and more variety. My kids ordered from the kids menu, it was $ 7.99 for a tiny plate of shells with Velveeta melted over it(gross!) If i am paying that much I at least expect real cheese!!! My other kid wanted chicken with his alferdo pasta and thay added $ 3(for 5 pcs of chicken). The entrees for adults are double that price and nothing to talk about. Yes the servers are very friendly but on a Thursday night with no crowds, not one of them was attentive when our regular server was not in sight. They all just stood around chatting. All in all, not worth the time and expense.

The service and food were great! We ordered the spinach salad, chicken fettucini, spaghetti and meatballs, grilled salmon, grilled chicken and kids pepperoni pizza and they were all delicious. If you want a smaller portion, you can order a small salad with half an entrée; it is very convenient if you don’t want a full-sized meal. There is a wooden touch to the floor, chairs and mirrors which makes a comfortable décor. Overall, a very nice restaurant.

Came here for a quick lunch. It’s a pretty big place and it wasn’t very busy, even at lunch hour, has a nice bar. Lunch portions are the perfect size. Had the minestrone soup, it was pretty good, lots of veggies, in a good way. They offer appetizers even though they aren’t on the lunch menu. We got the fried zucchini with ranch, pretty standard. Bread also comes with the meal, so good with the oil and balsamic vinegar that’s on each table. I had the Asiago raviolis, came in a pesto sauce, very good! I added shrimp for a few bucks more.

This place is a pretty standard Italian restaurant. I came on a week day so it was a little slow. The service was average. Since we were some of the few people there, I expected a little more attention. I had the risotto at the restaurant. It was pretty good. It was nice and creamy and flavorful. I think there could’ve been a little more kick to the food. I added a lot of red peppers. Since this is a chain, I’ll accept it since they have to cater to different taste buds. All in all, it’s a good restaurant to try out and get some average Italian food.

Went in today looking forward to a good lunch. We were seated right away, which was good. Didn’t look crowded or too busy. We wound up waiting for 20 minutes before we decided to get up and leave. No drinks brought to us, no bread, nothing. Not one waiter or waitress even acknowledged us. Came in with my birthday gift certificate from them. Guess I won’t be using it…

We came in here on a slow night, but of all the empty tables they still sat us down in the one booth that hadn’t been cleaned. This required us to stand next to the booth, hovering over other diners for a good 5 minutes while the busboy was located and told to wipe down the table. Not a good start but I was still willing to give the benefit of the doubt. After we were sat down, our server went completely MIA. He was gone long enough that we were literally standing up to leave before he came back to take our drink order. I’ve had bad service before, but usually its at least somewhat compensated by the quality of food. Not so in this case, unfortunately.

First time coming here and I’ve lived in Fremont forever. As soon as I walked in I had thought it was a bigger restaurant but it’s pretty small inside with some seating outside as well. Wait time was about 5 minutes before being seated. Not too many people. Drinks and appetizers came quick but the food was a little delayed. Their wasn’t that many people so my party of 5 was expecting for our food to come sooner. All of our dishes were good. We were stuffed and can barely move. The desserts were pretty huge and we all shared. Overall our experience here was good. I would definitely come back here again.

Came to have lunch with my brother and my day off. She asked if I ever been to Strizzi’s. I never have, am more of a Olive Garden guy. I went today and i’ll be back again soon. The service was great and the food was amazing!

Great service. Only people post lunch rush. Food was ok. Order — Minestrone –watery. Good amount of veggies. Chicken pesto with pine nuts –ok. Noodles tasted like it was from a box. Pesto was good. Pine nuts gave a dimension to it. overall, this place was ok. if it wasn’t for the service, i’d prolly go to panera bread. atleast i’d get a cookie.

My sister and her husband hosted a graduation lunch for my niece here. I was pleasantly surprised with both the food and the service. I have eaten at Strizzi’s in Livermore and Pleasanton and had no desire to go back. Lackluster food and service at both of these locations. Here the food was decent, and the service was wonderful. I had fried shrimp… not too heavily breaded, they were good. Came with pasta and lots of perfectly cooked string beans. Good wine list… so the ladies had something to toast with. Everyone in our large party was happy. They served niece’s cake for us(It was from Whole Foods, and so yummy) I wish our Tri-Valley locations were as good as this one.

Not bad, not bad at all. Over the weekend, I went here for the second time. The first time was literally about a decade ago… back when I was too young to really give a decent opinion on a restaurant. To my surprise, I was pleasantly surprised with the food this time around. My party and I shared the garlic fries for an appetizer… not something that I’d normally order at an Italian-influenced restaurant, but what the heck. They actually turned out to be pretty good. After that, I had a Cesar salad… very good. And for the main course, I had the penne with chicken and pine nuts in a pesto sauce. Once again: I was pleasantly surprised. It was honestly pretty tasty. By the way: unlimited bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar is available as well.

Over priced. Food very slow. Definitely eat before you come! We came for a Saturday lunch and waited for 1 hour for the food!!! Food was a bit over priced. $ 13.99 for a pasta. Service was not that great. Our waitress did not come to update information until you ask. She did not offer beverage either. Does not worth the price.

I give stars for the friendly customer service and allowing us to sample a wine before deciding. The food however left much to be desired, especially for the price. We ordered the«signature» Bolognese which was described as «spicey.» It was neither spicey or meaty. Very bland in fact. We ordered the steak medium rare and it was tough to cut through with a steak knife. Breaks my heart when I think about asking for steak sauce to add some kind of flavoring to the meat. Overall, this was middle of the road and not worth the money.

I have never reviewed Strizzi’s but I am definitely a regular here. I average at least 2 visits a week here since it is across the street from my office. This is a every day lunch restaurant you can count on. Of course my service here is very good most of the time when I visit. Most of the waitors and waitresses know my habits. Hot water with lemon, and bread with a side of chopped basil, minced garlic, and parmesan cheese. The bartender and manager«J» always takes care of my group when we are here. One of my favorite dishes here is the buffalo wings. I typically have 2 sauces on the side rather than the sauce tossed in so every chicken wing is crunchy and fresh. I love that they do not use any batter on it. The other great item on their menu is the grilled chicken with walnut salad. The chicken is always grilled to order and moist. Today, I was on a low glycemic meal so I ordered grilled salmon dry with a side of steamed veggies. It was done perfectly. We also ordered Thai Shrimp Pappardelle. I didn’t taste it but my co worker said it was very good. The 5 of us combined was $ 125. The bathroom is also decent. The one complaint I have is the parking especially lunch time. Even though it is in a strip mall, parking is always a challenge. Over all, this is a great lunch restaurant. For good service and solid food, go see for yourself if you are in the area. Until next time, ciao.

Great service, really good food, clean and cute. I had a nice green salad and a piece of baked lasagna. It was nearly awesome. We went in on Friday night and there was no wait, with only about half of the tables full. That was unsettling and I hope business picks up or it was just an off night. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and the boys ate probably four loaves of hot fresh Italian bread which was really good. No alcohol, sodas and meals for four came to just around $ 80.

I have been dining at this restaurant with my family since it had opened years ago. I thought that I’ve already written a review but I guess I was wrong! Checked-in here(again) last night to celebrate my son’s birthday — he absolutely LOVES their Fettuccine Alfredo(‘hold the mushrooms, hold the chicken’) … he’s really picky. The staff was VERY friendly as always. Can’t say that we’ve ever experienced anything other than warm hospitality here. Strizzi’s definitely goes out of their way to hire the right people and that’s one of the main reasons why we continue to dine here year after year. Service = pleasant Food = flavorful Price = reasonable 5 Stars. «Thank you, Strizzi’s.»

Moderate-sized Italian restaurant located in a large shopping plaza on the corner of Mowry Avenue & Paseo Padre Parkway next to Chipotle and Peet’s Coffee. The parking lot here is always crazy, so be prepared. We thought this place was going to be a pretty nice, upscale restaurant, but the atmosphere is more of a family-style. The interior is oddly configured, with a bar on one-side, and tables/booths on the other. Lighting is also not as dark as most Italian restaurants, and they were also playing jazz music??? They have an early dining option(dinner before 5pm) that comes with an entre dish + either a soup or salad. Happy hour is also from 5−7pm. Although service was pretty good & attentive, their food was mediocre in taste and presentation, and way overpriced. Their tiramisu was the biggest disappointment of the evening — the cream tasted like buttercream, and the dish looked & tasted like it was cut out of a pre-made, store-bought tiramisu :(We couldn’t even finish it. I think this place has potential, but they need to determine exactly what kind of restaurant they want to be selling themselves as, then modify their menu/prices/atmosphere accordingly.
