Great freshly prepared lunch by someone obviously knowledgeable on cooking cajun and seafood. I will be back

Like the Ben’s review said, Turn of the Tide is a small lunch buffet. Even though it is small, there’s plenty of food to fill you up. Although there isn’t a lot of different choices, the choices they have there are pretty traditional American style food. Two dishes that I really recommend would be the Fried Catfish and the Peach Cobbler. The catfish is fried well. It is really moist inside and there isn’t too much batter. The peach cobbler is so warm and sweet. It has a pretty good taste. This place is great if you have a short lunch. It’s really quick and simple. The price is decent. It’s not overly expensive, it’s very affordable. When I input the address into my GPS, I had a little bit of trouble finding the place. So, be careful when relying on a mobile GPS. And parking can get cramped! But, try this place out. It’s a good local find!

Turn of the tide is a small lunch buffet in the Freeport area. It is a great spot for lunch in the area during the work week(that’s the only time they are open). Even though it’s a buffet the food is high quality american style food. They have fried fish everyday and a few other staples, but most days of the week have different options to choose from. The bean soup and the peach cobbler are worth trying.
