SIMPLY CAROLS — My favorite (ONLY) place for manicures & pedicures. It is so much more than an amazing salon it’s an experience! At Simply Carols, you don’t feel like a customer… Because you’re treated like family!

I rarely get a pedicure. I usually handle all that stuff myself. I really don’t understand why women would pay to constantly get manicures and pedicures. But, several years ago I noticed that this place appeared on the corner near my house. I must have been getting ready to travel somewhere (Carol says I only come to see her when I am getting ready for a trip). Carol’s is in a building with a couple of other businesses, a hair salon and a massage place. Carol’s reminds me of Truvy’s Salon in the movie «Steel Magnolias». It’s the kind of place where small groups of women gather and chit-​chat, and when you leave, you feel like you know everyone. The star of the place (besides Carol) is the massage chair. Oh. My. While you are soaking your feet, you are getting one heck of a back massage. Carol then gives you the best pedicure you’ve ever had (throwing in a leg scrub and foot massage), and you get to hear some really interesting conversations. The whole process takes at least an hour, and your toes have never looked prettier. The best part? It’s cheap! I haven’t been in several months, but my pedicures were always $ 20 – 25. Carol’s is the best deal in town.
