Excellent food! We ate at the location and the service was good and food hot and yummy. We ordered the build your own so we can pick the protein and the type of preparation. I love the hunan and hubby tried the Szechuan which he loved. We will be back.

Don’t order if you want your food warm and quick! We got our food 2 hours after we placed our order and they said it would take 15minutes. Our food was cold and nasty. I was very disappointed. I love Chinese food and will have to look else where next time.

First time here and for some reason I wanted a weird combo for lunch: calamari and egg drop soup. The egg drop soup was delicious! One of the best I’ve had.(My husband and I eat chinese food at least once a week.) I even even got another order of soup to go(which I am sipping on as I write this review). For reference, my favorite calamari is from Carrabas: crispy, flavorful batter, and tentacles to prove that what you’re eating came from a squid. MC’s calamari was well priced for lunch appetizer at under $ 6. They use a dash of old bay as a garnish, which in theory is good. The breading was good, but would benefit from being fried harder. The calamari itself was a bit slimy and not to my liking. Service was fast and polite.(Mid-week, mid-day visit). I will come back!

Decided to give MC Asian Bistro a try for our ‘date night’ and we were not disappointed! Here is our assessment. The dining area is cozy and clean. The chairs and tables are wood not metal, the décor is comfortable. There is a television on the wall which we could do without but we give it a pass. It’s apparent that the ‘meat & potatoes’ of this establishment is take-out, with counter service and a steady flow of patrons while we were there. There is a sushi counter which offers the expected, and a menu with plenty of choices. We decided to start with vegetable spring rolls, which came out hot and crispy. My wife ordered General Tso’s Tofu and I decided to try the Hong Kong Style Pan Fried Crispy Noodles with vegetables. The tofu came with rice, was lightly seasoned and not too sweet. It was delightfully crispy without feeling heavy. I was happily surprised with my dish. The textures and flavored were expertly developed. The noodles were like a crisp cake under the delicious vegetables, and had a wonderful smoky undertone behind the wonderful noodliness of the dish. The vegetables were cooked but had a crisp bite before the soft texture. A buttery sauce the vegetables were cooked in settled on the noodles but did not rob them of their crunch. The server was exceedingly polite and obliging, almost respectful of our space. I heartily recommend this bistro and will become a regular patron from this day forward.

Ok, so first go at it with this spot. This is really a Chinese joint that offers Sushi and a Thai soup(Yup you read right, 1 Thai soup). I guess that gives them the right to call themselves Asian Fusion? So we got the: Pepper Steak Gen. Tso Chix Seasame Chix Hong Kong Chix Pan Fried Noodles Beef Pan Fried Dumplings Chix Teriyaki Wonton soup Spicy Tuna w/Avocado Maki Pepper Steak was alright, I’d get it again. Can’t go wrong with their Gen. chix which I prefer over the Seasame chix. Don’t expect anything from their pan fried noodles-especially if you have had some really top quality-top shelf pan fried noodles, and I’d also order this again. Beef Dumplings were standard. AVOID the chix teriyaki!!! Wonton is also standard. Sushi here is just okay. I tried a very simple and plain Spicy Tuna maki w/Avocado to test the skillz. If they can make this simple order stand out, then they’ve got something special going on here. But to my disappointment nothing worth spreading the word about. I could barely taste the spicy in the tuna. I hope that they get better, but these restaurants typically place their best foot forward during grand openings… I hope that they keep it at this level or even improve. Most Chinese joints that I had that were beside liquor stores were always really good — and no I was not judging when I was drrrrrunk. This was a lunch order today. I hope this spot can continue the tradition of good Chinese restaurants beside liquor stores — only time will tell. So for my first encounter 3 out of 5. I’m goin in on my next round with them and will give another update.

We were so excited when they opened up in this part of Frederick. We tried«China Garden» which keeps getting the best of Frederick vote. What a house of horrors. My food came drowned in sauce and the chicken was spoiled. The place is also outdated and filthy. MC Asian is clean, fresh and we love it. I have not had one item come to me that was below expectations. I am very happy they are here and I have sent a few people there. We were having to go to Bethesda from Frederick to get Chinese. Not anymore.

We first stopped at the Thai place next to the Baltimore coffee shop across the street but the prices over there were too high so we came here. The pepper steak over there was $ 20, here the pepper steak is $ 8. This place has Thai, Chinese, and Japanesse, to include sushi. This may be the only Asian place in town with that kind of an Asian selection. We tried to order some of the binto box specials on the inside of the menu under lunch but we were told that you can only get lunch prices m-f. Only the front of the menu lists items that are only available m-f. So we ended up getting the same thing for a higher price, except the dinner version didn’t come with a spring roll like the lunch version. The portion size is even the same! So on the weekends you pay more for less at lunch time. The fried calimari was very good. We also got a side egg roll and miso soup. Everything was good. I asked for my hunan chicken to be extra spicy and it couldn’t have been more mild. The resturant was small, clean and comfortable. The service was fast but not very friendly. This is not my first pick for Asian food in Frederick. I probally won’t be back anytime soon.

Huge portions, great flavor, good service. This is based off of their general tso’s chicken. I wish I could have tried their sushi– next time! Make sure you specify no MSG, if you have allergies like me. I forgot to specify and ended up with a killer migraine. Will definitely come back for MSG-free food and sushi.

Really good food at really great prices. Especially during lunch . We used to order a lot of pick up or delivery from here but we finally went in the other day and actually ate in the store and it was really good and fast service. It definitely gets pretty busy too! Glad this place is doing well!

We order delivery here all the time. They even deliver into the city! For the price the sushi is excellent. The miso soup isn’t watered down and the speciality rolls are flavorful.

I was traveling overnight and got on Unilocal to find something good to eat near my hotel. I was in the mood for Asian and this restaurant popped up, I read reviews and decided to give it a shot. Wow. This was some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten! I ordered General Tao dinner box that comes with soup, salad, a generous portion of delicious chicken and rice, and also included is a roll of sushi. Food was excellent and I am picky! Restaurant was empty at 7pm on a Wednesday but their call in orders were very steady. Clean atmosphere and friendly staff. This will be my favorite when I am in town!

Honestly the BEST Chinese I have ever ate! I am a chinese foodie and even use to work in a chinese restaurant. I work next door and eat here often. Every thing I try from here is so good. A lot of Chinese places you wonder about the freshness of there food an such. No worries here it is always so fresh u can definitely tell the difference. Customers ask all the time if it’s good and I have no worries sending them I know they will love it too. Go try it! Fav: Orange chicken noodle bowl with extra orange and sauce.

Chow mein and crab ragoons were very good but definitely not half of the sushi I ordered. Quick delivery. Nice to be able to order online, too.

HANDSDOWNTHEBESTCHINESEFOODINFREDERICK!!! We are fans of everything we’ve ever tried here, and have brought plenty of converts over who now swear by this restaurant. The best part is they don’t just offer Chinese food, but Thai and Japanese as well. This is not some cheap, dirty-feeling hole-in-the-wall Chinese place. The interior and décor is tasteful, new and clean. Not sure at all about the other negative reviews. Food here rocks!!! To respond to some of the negative reviews: 1. The food is NOT that oily. Try China Garden(curiously ranked #1 in Frederick) for that. We tried it several times, but couldn’t take it. You can also request less oil, and they are always willing to accommodate. 2. To the reviews that criticize the owners/wait staff for«not being friendly,» that should NOT be confused with being rude or impolite. Yes, they will not be cracking jokes while taking your order, but they are always polite, professional and courteous. 3. The Drunken Noodle dish is my — and others I know — personal favorite. Truly unclear how a prior reviewer thought it was bad or not a proper Thai dish. Perhaps the prior reviewer received a dish that was not up to MC’s usual standards. It is amazing. There is one thing I realize about the restaurant business and life — we are all only human and can make mistakes. If not egregious, I always give restaurants a second chance. If it happens again … To close, MC Bistro is a God-send for us. We go here once a week and are thankful we found an excellent Chinese place with reasonable prices. Try it!!!

I drive up from Clarksburg for take out from this restaurant because the food is just so fresh! I usually order the shrimp fried rice… The portion is huge! My DH who usually doesn’t like soy sauce or Asian food LOVES it! The rice is nice and fluffy, the veggies are fresh, the shrimp is fresh and plentiful! The chef adds the perfect amount of sauce! It never tastes greasy and is really flavorful. One order of fried rice is usually enough for 2 – 3 servings and I have a hearty appetite!

Hong Kong style pan fried noodles = worst choice ever for Asian take out. I eat a ton of Asian food yet was confused when I taking the containers out of the bag. The noodles were in a circular shape in a square plastic container, like the kind you get at the grocery store salad bar. The chicken, veggie and sauce come in a large soup container and had the consistency of a broths soup. Wait… did I order soup??? So I poured the«soup» in the plastic container with the noodles, which just made the noodles soggy and me worried about leakage onto the hotel desk. Super thin pieces of chicken and lack of veggie diversity, I remember only celery and bean sproats. One of the worst noodle dishes I’ve ever had. The steamed potstickers weren’t very good either, too much dough.

The only reason I tried this place out for soup this evening is because my favorite place for phở closes early on Sunday. That being said, the Chinese noodle soup served its purpose. It was good but it isn’t ‘phở’ by any means. Note: I ordered carry out this evening. In addition to the soup, I ordered their version of ‘drunken noodle’…which was listed under their Chinese menu. It was definitely no comparison to the Thai version. It also could have been because it was carry out. The noodles were dry and sticking together. I won’t order this again even if I was to dine in. If you want kee mow(drunken noodle), go to an actual Thai restaurant. Prior to this take out order, I’ve had their sushi. It was ok enough but pricey in my opinion. Not so memorable to review at this time. The staff here are pleasant enough but I suggest being a little more upbeat and less depressed. It does make a difference.

In a few words, «Expensive and a tad slow». Ordered philly rolls and an order of california rolls. The total came to $ 11.oo for 12 rolls. Portion size was acceptable as the rolls were fairly large with fresh ingredients, but the price was still a tad steep for a little strip mall carry-out joint. Overall, it was good sushi, but the price points killed me. I took away a star for speed and a star for price. I can get equal quality for about $ 4 less at Miyako’s or Rappogi’s.

I just wasn’t a fan of this place. My boyfriend was pretty happy with his Singapore Mei Fun. I got a shrimp tempura bento box that came with pretty decent miso soup and I DID like their California rolls. The shrimp tempura was ok, but the small salad that came with it was smothered in ranch dressing and was really a turnoff. I don’t mean to sound like a snob, but I would have expected sesame dressing or something remotely Asian besides ranch. We both ordered unsweetened iced tea that tasted like powdered Country Time lemonade and definitely had some sort of sweetener in it. We might try their takeout sometime if we’re in the mood for Chinese, and I wouldn’t mind trying their sushi again, but I’d be more inclined to go straight to Sushi Densha.

Stop by this newly open place at 3:15 today. I was 15 mins late to have the lunch menu so I thought I couldn’t get the lunch portion and prices, little I know, I was wrong. The gentleman in the front kindly offer me the lunch prices. I personally feel very welcomed. service like this is so rare now a day, so just for that I’m coming back! But of course, going to a restaurant the food matters most so here’s my review on the food. My meal took less then 7 mins which was perfect for me since I was in a rush. Got few orders of sashimi and a Pad Thai. The sashimi was so fresh and the portions was perfect. The mouth watering sweet taste of the raw fish was all there. Their wasabi was very spicy just the way it’s suppose to be. Next, my Pad Thai was lean towards the sweeter side and is very different from what I’m used to having but the unique, indescribable flavor was all their. I’m crazy about food and enjoy having all kinds of different food so I enjoyed it very much! I must admit the shopping center that the restaurant was in is hidden and wasn’t as visible from the others in the main road but I’m sure glad my gps on my smart phone lead me here easily. I hope this review isn’t too long. But I know I will be back on Friday to try more dishes they have to offer. See you guy MC Bistro. I wonder what does MC means?
