If I could give this a minus one, I would. The food is greasy, sloppy and poor quality. This fast food chain is off the list! I wish that there were better quality options while traveling. Horrible.

The food quality was okay not super great, but the service was great and very quick. I’m not from the area so I’ve never tried it before and I probably would try again and just get something with out the gravy sauce.

Oh yum! Mushroom swiss burger was IT! Cheap-​o $ 5.00 combo included seasoned fries and a mid-​size soda. If you just want a quick drive-​thru, eat-​in-​the-​car lunch, this is the place. I’d say the burger was easily on par with 5 Guys.

My only regret is that I live an hour away from the burgers I enjoy so much. This is the closest checkers location to where I live and that’s probably a good thing since I’m trying to be a little more healthy this year. I’ve never had a bad experience at this location and it’s perfectly placed right off the highway with easy exits and entrances to enable you to hit it up and get back on the road to continue your journey. They take credit cards and service is relatively quick whether you are using one of their 2 drive throughs or walking up to the front window.

I like Checkers and from time to time they have pretty good deals like two for three dollars which is nice. The burgers themselves are a little above average, and not anything special. However the clearly beat McDonad’s hands down. Hint for lunch time rush. Use the left lane. Leaning over for food is a small price to pay to shave five minutes off your wait.

Love me some Checkers. This place is the coolest, drive thru on both sides, kick-​ass burgers, divine fries, they they are one of the only place north of Richmond that serves sweet tea. I such a soft spot for Checkers, even if i am not hungry and just ate, and i pass a Checkers, I am going to stop to make sure i get some of their burger love. mmmmmmm… Checkers!!!
