I had a great time but for some reason my tires were slightly deflated after the game.

Can’t bring in e tickets. I’ve been to several fb stadiums across the country and this was never an issue anywhere else. This is the year 2016 and you have to print out a ticket from home. Good thing I don’t live in MA.

This is some bull shit of the most egregious kind. Forced to carry my shit in a clear plastic bag. No notice. No signs. Dumb ass rule. Get your house in order Gillette. Your drunk.

Indeed as good as it gets and completely biased as a long time Patriots fan growing up outside of Hartford, from the days of Grogan, Eason, to Bledsoe, Brady. Love this place. Amazing stadium and facilities, everything from shopping to eating. The stadium is beautiful and honors and embodies the Patriot culture. A visit here is more of an experience than anything else. And if you’re a Pats fan, well this is Mecca.

Hockey! Outdoor hockey! Epic rivalry hockey! ! Best friggin day of my liiiiiife! Finally scored some tickets to the NHL Winter Classic, flew in from Texas just for that, and it. Was. Glorious. Traffic getting to the stadium sucked. $ 50 cost for parking sucked.(Will *definitely* look into mass transit options for next time.) But you folks know to to tailgate and throw a parking lot party like nobody’s business. .wicked awesome! ! Seats up in the bleeds, 300s, were a great view.

Ok, I may be partial. This is home base for my beloved team and I’ve been to many games, as well as concerts at Gillette Stadium through the years. The things I hate: high parking fees, the long, steep, winding and neverending ramps to get up to the 300s, astronomical prices for drink and food(to be expected tho, just wish they’d come down), lines and people(also to be expected), the horrendous traffic leaving(the worst ever). The things I love: the tailgating scene is the best around(we Pats fans do it up), the excitement that fills the stadium and envelops you, no matter what you’re there for you can’t help but get caught up in it, the many options for food and drink, haven’t had a bad seat yet altho I don’t exactly prefer the high sections for concerts, but don’t mind them so much during game day, and lastly of course, The Patriots(the best ever).

I love the set up of this stadium and love all the amenities around the place. I like how they have a small mall and many places to choose from to shop or eat. Tailgating here is very fun. People sharing drinks and stories as well as food. My only complaint would be is about the traffic. It can take awhile to get out.

What can i say, the Patriots are the best and they get to play in the best. Gillette is the nicest stadium i have ever been to. I would say that the biggest draw back is the parking. I remember a time that you couldn’t get out of the lot for 3 – 4 hours so now the 1 – 2 hour wait doesn’t seem as bad but can still be really painful. Located around Patriots place, Gillette is the model of what the NFL is looking for to rake in revenue. If you are parking it is worth parking outside the lot parking because they will hold you to let all other traffic out. They won’t further down and you will struggle to even get in the line of the traffic. Don’t try and get beer before the game, everyone does. Don’t try to get beer or food at half time. Everyone does. Don’t think i will just pay with a card. You will be very limited on what you can get. Great selection of beer around the vending area but can only get Bud Light at the places that take credit.

This now makes my 5thNFL stadium I have visited and I plan to continue to visit as many as I can. NFL stadiums, more so than any art museum or historical landmark, give you a folk(and I would argue more accurate) version of the sociological underpinnings of any given community. The actions on the field aside, this aspect alone is fascinating, at least to me. I was in Boston on business and was treated to a Thursday Night Football matchup between the Pats and Fins. I had an absolute blast! As it was explained to me, Foxboro itself used to be a cow pasture prior to the Patriots and the stadium coming to town. Indeed it is really just a small town with a small population that for whatever reason(likely low real estate costs) became host to one of the greatest, and often most despised, NFL franchises in the history of the league. Traffic on the way into the stadium was about as awful as you are probably imagining. The number of season ticket holders at Gillette is astounding. They sell«standing room only» tickets to every game. The support the club receives from Boston and New England in general is massive. Then again, it is easy to have a dedicated fan base when your team is consistently successful. Fortunately, the gentleman that brought me had a close friend that lives in Foxboro not far from the stadium. After parking in his front yard and doing some pre-game necessities, we headed down a long stretch of train tracks for about ¾ of a mile with Gillette slowly becoming visible over the trees. The excitement was starting to build. The stadium is relatively new by NFL standards, and is well designed and laid out. That said, there is still a very obvious ode to the history of the franchise throughout which gives it that homely feel. The whole«there is not bad seat in the house» is an overused cliché in describing stadiums and arenas, but the designers really do seem to have done there best to bring this ideal to fruition. Also directly accessible from the stadium is a huge outdoor shopping mall called«Patriot Place» which is awash with high end retail and restaurants. It is a bit on the gratuitous side honestly, but who am I to stand in the way of commerce opportunism? I intentionally neglected eating an early dinner prior to showing up so I could check out some of the food and drinks served inside. The medium rare steak sandwich I had from a place called the Lighthouse Grill, located behind the end zone closest to Patriot Place, was shockingly delicious and served on fresh ciabatta bread. As you might expect, food and beer is marked up to the point to make even airport food seem reasonable but that should not come as a huge surprise to anyone. After you take your seat and the game commences, the fans here quickly get into the zone. You will hear the typical«good for a First Down» chant you notice at any stadium, and the crowd naturally goes bonkers for sacks and scores, but I did not notice anything unique as far as crowd chants. One thing you will notice after about the first quarter(hell even before the game starts) is the rather large volume of HIGHLY intoxicated people. Granted you will find this to some degree at any NFL game, but the numbers here are far greater. I enjoy dealing with people who are plastered personally, it’s about like being a referee at a Special Olympics competition, but it is probably not to every taste. As for the game itself, the Pats utterly destroyed the Dolphins to the point of embarrassing them. The jubilant nature in the air was infectious. I got more hugs and high-fives from random strangers than I ever have in my life. Lambeau Field in Green Bay is still my favorite stadium I have visited thus far. However, if I lived in Boston I have little doubt Gillette would quickly become a second home for me on game day. If you have never paid a visit to Gilette before, you are in for a real treat.

Gillette Stadium is such fantastic place to see an event. The seats are a good size & no matter where your seats are, you have a good view of the action. Big screens ensure that even if you’re sitting in the nosebleed section, you still can see everything! Security is pretty good too… they’ll handle any obnoxiously over the top people in a flash! And will happily remove anyone who doesn’t belong in your section. Another nice perk is all the other things you can do in the Patriot Place Plaza… bowling, shopping, dining, etc. What I don’t like about Gillette is the cost of everything! $ 12 for a beer?! Are you kidding? Food… so not worth it! Parking… yikes! My advice, tailgate! You can’t bring anything in the stadium, but you’re free to indulge in the parking lot. Despite that, I will say yes to any opportunity I have to go back. Definitely an amazing experience :0)

Gillette Stadium is our first football stadium we’ve traveled to. I’d imagine coming to a sporting event would be more overwhelming than the one we came for a concert… In terms of security and parking. Not being from the area, we weren’t about to park in a $ 20 parking lot and walk a few miles and get suckered. Well in a way we did get what we paid for, a closer spot for $ 40… Once we paid for parking, we got a flyer that had rules and items that were allowed/not allowed into the stadium. I was a little disappointed to find out that they weren’t so strict on the rules for concerts vs. football games because I left my purse and other«not allowed» items in the car when it was clearly allowed by all of the other concert goers. The stadium itself was pretty amazing and large. It was also pretty efficient to find our seat because they had dedicated entry areas for different sections. Unilocal 100 Challenge — 67 of 100

I had the privilege to watch the Patriots v Dolphins game last December in Gillete Stadium. The perks of being a Patriots fan from Miami is not one friend wanting to accompany me on my trip. This resulted in getting my seat at an amazing price in section 104. Being able to visit Gillete Stadium was by far one of the best experiences I could have had happen to me. I highly recommend buying the tickets through Ticketmaster instead of Stubhub. One last tip do not«DONOT» take the train from Boston to Foxborough, make use of the bus instead. Happy travels !

Don’t even try. Any event at the this stadium isn’t worthing waiting for. Have fun waiting in traffic from Route 27 in Walpole to the stadium on Route 1 S, and from Route 152 in Plainville to the stadium on Route 1 N. It also creates traffic all throughout Foxborough, as well as too much noise for the residents(specifically on North Street and surrounding areas). Terrible location and terrible stadium. Also, parking here is NOT very good. Don’t bother, the XFinity Center is a bit better I guess, but for events, Boston is the way to go.

How can you say anything bad about Gillette Stadium?! 4 stars simply because you have to take out a second mortgage to afford beer and food inside there. Perhaps tailgating wouldn’t result in so many drunken patrons if they could afford to drink in the stadium? $ 10 for a beer is highway robbery. Also 4 stars because the parking directly next to the stadium is so minimal that you literally hike a mile across the street to the open field lots. Try a few beverages and then go on a wild goose chase for your car… good times.(I will admit to having gotten über lost and spending WAY too much time in the dark of night searching for the car. Wasn’t even drunk!) Add the horrendous traffic and still I give four stars. Love being there, hate getting there and draining my wallet.

I just recently went to a function for my company there. It was a great place. They took us on a tour of the stadium. The tour guide was very informative and personable. Their was great staff besides one of the drink vendors was very rude. I dont know, she just seemed very unprofessional to me. I guess I got the bad one that time around. Just expect that if you go there when their is open bar you will not receive good or comforting service from the bartenders whom are used to making tips. All in all a good time. For all that I give this 3 stars. That bartender honestly upset me and they loose 2 stars because of it.

Way overpriced food, but I guess that’s to be expected? $ 10 for some chicken wings that were pretty sad looking. I’m used to Fenway prices, which are not as steep because the Red Sox aren’t good anymore? No, that can’t be right. Maybe Gillette is more expensive because the Patriots are so good? Maybe the food is great quality? Alas, I can’t find a reason for the high prices. Clean bathrooms. If you go for Revolution games you can tailgate in the parking lot. Woo! Then you can cook your own food and not spend as much money. Good deal.

If you got an omelette here, then you know it as Skillet Stadium. And if you need to grind up some corn, then it’s Millit Stadium. And if you want to pay for something later, it’s Billit Stadium. One thing is for sure. Giselle. The Best A Man Can Get. Or so says Brady anyway. And he has a lot of sisters. So he would know. He has a few rings too. He may get another one this year. After being here for the Pats-Bills MNF game I have to raise it to a 5. Such a palace. First-Hand Experience: Info on my personal visit to this stadium — I’ve seen the Revolution play here(back in the Nicol days) and I’ve seen the Patriots play here and my goodness what a crowd the Pats get. This stadium is an absolute palace and state of the art. I saw them massacre the Jets here, most memorably. Tom Brady is utterly incredible to watch. This might be my fave stadium to watch a game in, other than Arrowhead. There are lots of other great ones like Seattle and Houston but I think Foxboro is right up there. But not in January! Lol. Now that I’ve been to every NFL stadium(current and former) and seen all 32 teams play live in the flesh, time to review them on Unilocal!I love stadia! I’ve been to every cool sports arena in the UK& North America, it’s an obsession I have with travel & sport. I’ve roamed America as a musician for years. In that time, I’ve seen sports games at(or toured when empty, or both) almost every major stadium in US/Canada. Many pictures taken which I’ll upload eventually. On future travels, I’ll new pix, and add more stadiums! Watch this space! ***back to regular review*** This is one of my fave stadiums in the NFL because of the weird bridge thing, and it’s so huge and cold and imposing and impressive. It only loses points because it’s wayyyyy the hell out in the middle of nowhere, and the fans don’t seem to like it that much. The seats are great, it’s getting a bit corporate around here though. I still love it, it will still always be one of my fave stadiums, long after that irresistible hunk of man meat is no longer here. You know, the one married to the Brazilian. Bill Bellichick. He stole my girlfriend once by the way. So he’ll forever be known as Bill Bangedmychick. I’ve forgiven him though. Anyone who can single-handedly bring the Yoda Hoodie into fashion worldwide, must be okay. Plus, as Jose would say on S1TV, he’s a Voyeur. Helllllllllooooooooooooooooooooooooooo? And don’t eat the skin of the fish. But you can eat the gills. Especially at this stadium. Hence the name. Gilleat Stadium.

Ok, it is a beautiful sports complex. Every seat is a decent one. There are many overpriced food and beverages available for purchase.(Cash only for stadium parking, beer hawkers, beer at outlying kiosks, credit accepted at concourse booths) even Dunkin! My issue is — I’ve been attending Patriots games since the old stadium and while I have always had a great time and appreciated the new stadiums luxuries — I feel like the experience overall is being ruined by corporate greed and so many rules that for the expense — it’s almost more enjoyable to just stay home. And a big middle finger to Tufts and the Kraft clan for banning smoking in the entire stadium(even the Red Sox still have a designated smoking area). Smokers beware — bring your electronic cigarette or prepare to be chased around by event staff and treated like a criminal(while people are walking around drunk as skunks on $ 9 – 11 draft beers). NOW I know why people hide in the restrooms and smoke! Wouldn’t it make more sense to let people smoke in one designated open area?! My other complaint — this is a stadium — and while I can understand the shops at Patriot Place to generate income when they are not hosting an event — it’s kind of a ridiculous layout! I don’t want to walk through a mall on my way into a game. They should make the pedestrian path avoid that area — but again, greed trumps common sense. I love the Patriots but this stadium is charging too much for a lackluster experience that is getting worse every season. If you have never been — by all means, have the awesome experience of attending a live NFL /Revolution /Concert in the home of our beloved Patriots but remember to check out the very long list of «rules» so your not disappointed.

We surprised our teenage son with tickets to see his beloved Pat’s for his 15th birthday gift! What a stadium! The stadium it self was huge, but clean. The ladies bathrooms were large and there was not a line any of the times during my visit. The prices are of course, pricey, just like any other NFL stadium. The concession stands were fast, they served hot-wings, and they were really good. The reason for one star off is because the location is very far from Boston and because parking is pricey. The parking here ran us $ 40. We had a wonderful night watching an amazing game where the Pat’s ended up triumphing over the NY Jets. We can’t wait til the next time we are able to visit the awesome city, and stadium!

J’adore
