Highly recommend! Been a customer for over a few years now. Never disappointed with Van. She is very kind and meticulous about her work. No appointment needed. Price is right. No need for a frilly salon– she knows what she is doing. Very Happy.

I’ve been going here since Van and Vee started this business. They are twin sisters from Vietnam. I used to work very close to the shop until 2006, we moved our business to Irvine. I tried a couple of other places in that area, but they did not do as good of a haircut. I still drove back to Mastercuts. By the way, the price is right, still $ 11. I highly recommend them.

Super cheap cuts, but the ladies just don’t listen to what you want to get done! I think it’s easier for men to come here.

I’ll put this up front: This place is a cheap, no frills hole in the wall. Mens cut $ 11. I don’t recall womens prices, but I do see a few women there, although 85% men. I’m writing this because I just realized that I have now been going to Mastercuts for a haircut for 8 years, and was thinking about the money I have saved over that time. 15 years ago I worked near South Coast Plaza, and I got a referral from a coworker for a salon. This place was nice, and kinda pricey @ $ 25(in 1995) but I went there for years, then my regular stylist got married and moved, so I started with another girl, but she raised the price to 35, then 40. With a tip expected, as well, this made it $ 50. I figured it was time to move on. I just happened upon Mastercuts one day. $ 7 at the time I think. Vietnamese ladies that do an excellent job.8 years later, the price is now $ 11, but still a great deal. No sparkling water, or wine, like the expensive place, and that’s fine because I have an extra $ 3000+ saved in that time!
