Kenny’s Barber

Came here twice so far. The first time I asked for a combover and it looked pretty good at the end but today the old guy did my haircut and I asked for the same comb over but my hair looked like a mess.

Best barbershop to go to. I recommend Kenny, Ian, Tam and Timmy. There’s always a little wait depending on what day and time you come but it shouldn’t take too long

First of I wanna say that I am super impressed by the cuts I get from there. Their fades and undercuts are on point. Price is super reasonable. When I first walked in I had my doubts but after I got a cut I was hooked. I have been a loyal customer since 2014. I would like to give a special shoutout to Timmy. All you have to do is show him the picture of what you want and he gets it right on the spot. Also Timmy and the rest of the staff are super easy to talk to and friendly. The reason I’m giving it a 4 and not a 5 star is because of the long wait lines. Almost everyone in Orange County goes there so it gets a little packed. I feel that they need more barbers to offset the demand for the place. But other than that I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a Hollywood style cut at an affordable price.

My friend & I came to this place because he had been here before & he trusted them. We were waiting for about 30 minutes when an older man walked in with his adolescent son. It turns out the man and one of the barbers were very good friends, so naturally, he let the man’s son go before my friend. We would’ve had no problem, but we ended up waiting an hour thanks to the man’s adolescent son. I get that friends and family get special treatment, but in a professional setting such as this, it is not the right time. This is poor customer service, having to wait over an hour just because an acquaintance wanted a hair cut.

I’ve been to numerous of barbers and salons and none can compare to Kenny’s. A buddy of mine recommended this shop for a nice fade. I came in around 3pm and was greeted by Timmy. No wait so I got seated right away. I asked for pompadour come over cut and Timmy knew exactly what I wanted and delivered! He took his time making sure I walked out feeling great. I haven’t engaged in any conversations with Timmy yet but he seems like a chill guy. I will definitely be back

Sending my hubby for a hair cut and Timmy nailed it. He was taking his time and making sure that his client is happy with his work and that’s much appreciated! He did such a great job!

Kenny and Tim are great barbers. They really take their time cutting your hair and take the time to explain what they are doing. The barbers are knowledgable and can cut any hairstyle, with great recommendations. I am happy with my haircut every time I walk out of there.

Get anyone but the lady, I wouldn’t think I would have to review about it but her cut was so uneven I can be sure she wasn’t looking where she was cutting. She will also try to convince you to get a different cut than the one you want just cause it «looks better». Everyone else gives good service and great cuts.

This place sucks i called 30 mins earlier to ask if they are still open, and i can just come in without appointment but when i get there they told me they are closing and want me to come back tom. (It was only 6:10pm)The guy with the hat didnt even appologize! Very unprofessional i have friends who goes here and i will tell them my experience and boycott this place. I would never go here!

If i can give this place a zero star, i would! I came here with my brother for a hair cut, we waited more than an hour even with an appt. I mean whats the point of having an appt if u have to have wait that long. When i complained about it, staff doesnt seem to care! Their hair cut is only half decent, poor customer service, the place is dirty! No reason for you people to come here!

My first time at Kenny’s Barber was the setting stone for my future haircuts. I’ve been to a handful of barbers, but none of them could deliver what I ask for. My friend recommended me this barber and I would give it a try. I came in and it was packed. Be expecting a long wait. I waited for about an hour but it wasn’t bad they had a tv in the waiting area so time would pass by a little faster. When they called for the next guest I wasn’t expecting the master Kenny to be cutting my hair. I went to the back where his chair was and he asked what kind of cut I wanted. I told him I wanted a tapered and long top then he asked me how I styled my hair. No other barber really asked me that before. I was also wearing a hat then he gave me advice, for the next time I get my haircut. He told me hats weigh down your hair making it uneven in a couple places making your cut inconsistent the more I thought about it the more it made sense. That’s when you know he has mastered his work. He took his time with my cut not just any express in n out barbers making sure it was even and equal to the other side. I always appreciate barbers taking their time in cutting hair. He even took pictures of his progress! To end it short… If you’re looking for good barbers they’re the ones to go to. I don’t think I’m ever gonna go anywhere else other than here. Thank you Daica
P.S there’s a long wait because they actually take time in their cuts making sure you are walking out satisfied. If you’re looking for a quick cut and don’t care how you look then look somewhere else.

3 different weekdays at 3 different times and it’s over a 2 hour wait. Oh and you can’t make appointments either. I was told this place was quick and cheap, but I guess not quick at all. Will never go back again. Time is money.

I’ve been coming here for about a year and a half and it’s my go-​to barber when I’m in a desperate need for haircut! I’m glad that I’ve discovered this place thanks to Unilocal and the close proximity to my aunt’s house :)
Prior to this place, I’ve been going to multiple barber/​haircut locations and I haven’t really been satisfied with the end result. It was kinda butchered at one point that I kinda gave up. The one near my school charged hella for their cuts and I was not pleased with that. One day, I decided to look up for a local place to get my haircut when I was at my aunt’s house in the OC. This was the closest. like about a 2 minute drive. When I went in for the first time, Kenny was my barber and he completely changed my life. Because of that, I’ve been coming here as a loyal customer since then. Plus, I’ve been pleased with the end result every time I come here by whomever is available at the moment to cut my hair.
If you want to avoid long lines, try to call in first to schedule an appointment! Or come during an odd time when it’s not that busy. Everyone is really good and experienced by what they do best :)

Come here if you need legit cuts. Tam’s usually the guy you want in my opinion, but you can’t go wrong with any of the other people. Only downside is wait time of course.

I got in and out along got my style today. If you come when it open there’s no wait time.

Got cut by Kenny today. I’ve been cutting my own hair for the past 7 years and have been hesitant to let anyone touch my hair since. I asked him to give me a high top fade with a hard line, but I have asian hair, so it is much more difficult to work with than black hair. I sent him a picture and video of what I wanted and he executed the cut perfectly. He also had to chop off my man bun in the process, so it was a project. Then after finishing, he explained that he has never cut this style before. I will only be going to Kenny from now on and believe he is one of the most talented barbers I have met!

Came to this place because they do a good job cutting hair but wait time is rediculouse. I guess you have to be a friend of the barbers cause that’s the only way you get seated for a hair cut. I sat for over an hour and people who came in after me got a hair cut first. I’m not coming back again. There’s other places that cut hair good too with fair friendly service. My money is just as good as everyone else’s.

If you are looking for a straight up barber shop. This is a great place to get a fade at a very reasonable price. Just like any other barber shop, you have great barbers and you have guys that are just OK.
If this is such a great barber shop, why the 2 stars? Although, the cuts and fades are great, this is a «homie» barbershop. If you’re not one of the barber’s homies, good luck trying to get a haircut in a reasonable amount of time.
On many occasions, I’ve sat for over an hour, watching guys walk in and sit down with the barber that I’ve been waiting for. So how do I get this kind of red carpet service? I mean, I put my name on the clipboard, the time I arrived, and which barber I was waiting for. Why am I a second rate rate customer?
So if you have at least 2 – 3 hours kill and need a haircut, come down to Kenny’s. Otherwise, you could also wax your car, play 9 holes of golf, drive most of the way to Vegas, or anything else more productive than waiting for a haircut.

I am giving Ian and Nam 5 stars. The haircut was great and although its about an hour and a half away from my home, I definitely plan on coming back! I will rate the owner and his professionalism 1 star!!! 1 STAR! I was there during business hours of course. Apparently Mr Kenny himself, lost track of his inventory or something resulting in a loss of about $ 300 dollars. Anyhow long story short, he was huffing and puffing and swearing and slapping stuff on counters. He dropped the F bomb quite a few times in front of visitors and child. The place is great, Ask for Ian and for sure you will love your cut! Best $ 11 haircut ever. Overall i feel Kenny might have been having a rough day but still doesn’t make it ok to go about with his actions. In closure, check these guys out. Ask for Ian or Nam (Ian works only weekends fyi)

Been here for a minute now and this place has good vibes. There can be long waits which is why you should try to avoid Friday afternoons but this place is solid. Cuts do run about 30 or so minutes even for something a bit simple because these guys pay attention to detail and they want to get it done right! On top of that, once you get to know some of them and chat, these guys can chat all day. Put Uncle Long and Kenny together and you will hear some funny ass stuff! All in all, totally recommend this place. Also the cuts typically run about $ 10!
