Starbucks

By far the worst starbucks I’ve been to.
I ordered a caramel frap, and there was caramel all over my drink — like literally I thought she did that on purpose or something.
But that’s not yet, the guy in the front, taking our order, you can’t even hear what he’s saying half the time. Also, he would not mention anything about the gold status that was available till 2^nd May. So I bought the drink for nothing.
There were comdiments that were missing, and the drink was very very sweet.
Also, the inside of the store was hotter than the outside, when it was pretty hot out.
I don’t usually complain, but really starbucks? So far the worst one I’ve been to.

This is my go to Starbucks on the Peninsula. I’m here a couple times a week and really love the location, team and quality of beverage.

I can’t stand this Starbucks. The people that work her are so slow. Coffee is hit or miss all they do is sit down and rest while people are in line waiting for their drink. They don’t ask for names or call them and the blonde that works there amalika like she just sat at a bar all morning drinking and she’s a total airhead with a bad attitude. I’ll pass thanks bish

They got the job done. Delicious Matcha latte and a greek yogurt. Pricey breakfast snack but it’s Starbucks.

THE worst Starbucks you could go to in Foster City. The customer service here is always lacking and the store is constantly dirty. Between the crowd of Bowditch kids that swarm this place and the unpleasant young baristas, you’re honestly better off just getting some instant coffee mix next door at Ranch 99.

Great service when «Jared» is working. Extremely helpful, patient and makes awesome coffees. Witnessed annoying customers in line that should just stay home and make their own coffee. This store is always busy but Jared always takes the time to provide excellent service and a winning smile. I hope they don’t lose him as the good ones are hard to find.

Very conveniently located and friendly staff. The drinks are a bit hit and miss in consistency and the brewed coffee does not taste very good 4 out of 5 times.
If they could figure out the brewed coffee part it would be really great. Possibly you make it too hot because it comes out extra bitter.

Bad customer service! Ordered a drink, was waiting, there were 3 people in front of me, then the group of 3 behind me got their drinks, I then checked and the guy started making a frappachino (which wasn’t mine either), so I got the girls attention who I ordered the drink from. I told her I stil havent gotten my drink, she says nothing makes it in seriously 20 seconds as she throws a cover off to the side, and grabs another. Hands it to me like it is my fault they forgot my drink. I asked her why she gave me attitude and she said «I didn’t, I just made your drink.» I asked her name and she said it was Casey. No apology or anything. Totally disappointedly. I’ll drive a little futher to philz next time.

The service at this place is great. Very friendly.

The service at this Starbucks is the best. Melissa, Eric and Jake (to name a few) always have their «A game» and the place has a nice neighborhood feel.

I really like this Starbucks! It’s inside Foster City, so I imagine only locals would go there.
As a result, it has a more neighborhoody, personal feel than Starbucks usually has. Lines are smaller than at the other Starbucks cafes closer to the 92.
A couple of the baristas have made an effort to remember me, which stands out as being so sweet and an example of above and beyond service, because I don’t go there every day — not even once/​week. Still, one barista knows my name and others remember my drink.
I’m surprised to see a couple of comments that it didn’t seem clean but I have always considered it clean and nice and well-​stocked — maybe it’s the difference between morning (when I would go) vs. afternoon?
I think they are very efficient — I seldom wait long for my coffee — and just the right amount friendliness — just a quick greeting and then off to get me my coffee :)

Today was the day that I realized Starbucks is a total scam. Not necessarily this store, but Starbucks in general is a rip off:
1. If you think any of their pasties or food is «tasty» you must have been stuck on the ISS, orbiting the earth for the last year eating vacuum sealed vegetable concentrate.
2. Compared to the exotic and delicious variety of roasts I can pick up at my local whole foods, starbucks coffee is absolute crap (today, it tasted like soap, I couldn’t even drink it).
3. They have slow internet on purpose. Why is it that I can sit at the most crowded Philz coffee in Berkeley and upload documents at blazing high speeds, but a basic google search takes 45 seconds at this starbucks when it is at half occupancy.
If I didn’t like the employees at this store so much, it would get 1 star. I am going to boycott starbucks until they get their act together, which may be never.

It is definitely bettet than used to be. Service got better, much cleaner and more inviting. Keep it up and customers will continue to be loyal. Thanks

coffee is as your average starbucks serves… nothing that stands out here. service is very average. it’s convenient after shopping at 99 ranch… that’s about it!

If I could give no stars I would. Asked for a decaf caramel macchiato and the guy who appears high pours milk and then tops it off with caramel.

I have no idea what’s is going on with this place, ‘because it is always dirt and with empty shelves and fridge!

Store has been super dirty when I’ve gone in around noon, but maybe they had a rush or something? However, the female cashiers here are super unfriendly. :/

I hate this Starbucks and avoid it at all costs. They have no quality control on their drinks, coffee and tea. And the service sucks here too. If I’m going to pay $ 5 for a drink I expect you to remake it if I’m not satisfied. Standard Starbucks procedure right? NOT HERE.
Definitely go to the Starbucks by Noah’s and Jamba Juice.

The remodel is beautiful and the staff is great. It’s usually a lot less crowded than the Starbucks on the other side of town.
The parking lot can get a little scary at times, especially on the weekends.

After pulling an all-​nighter at the Hacker Dojo the night before, I needed a lot of caffeine in me if I had any hope of making it through the day. Half asleep, I drove down to Foster City to meet up with my buddy but stopped in for a shot to fire me up.
I ordered a latte this morning and realized that it’s kind of a boring drink without all the holiday goodies in it. It had a nice punch that helped in the alertness department but otherwise fell short for me.
My favorite part about this Starbucks is the dog-​friendly outdoor seating and all of the dogs that were hanging out with their owners outside. My least favorite part was the skinny barista dude with the attitude. When he called my drink, he pretty much just dropped the latte on the counter without even saying anything, like I was inconveniencing him. This location is also kind of dirty as well and there were almost no outlets for laptop users like me could plug into. Meh at best.
