Stopped by here to purchase shoes they’d been advertising on sale. Looked around the store for 10 – 15 minutes at various items and not once did the woman behind the counter (owner?) acknowledge my presence or ask if I needed assistance with anything. Instead she stayed engaged in casual conversation with the only other person in the place (coworker?) this has happened to me and others I’ve mentioned it to as well. I won’t be back. I ended up driving to picky picky picky in Eureka and got the same shoes for 5 dollars less and picked up some nice rain gear on sale as well! Ultimately, I think that unless you’re friends of the owner (s) there are better and much more customer friendly places to shop just a short drive away.

I ordered a pair of Whites Smokejumpers from this company. They cost $ 450 and each time I came in to check on the order the company acted like I was a pest for even asking about the status. After waiting 10 weeks I finally contacted Whites to see if they knew the status of my order, and they informed me that Wildwood never even placed the order. Wildwood had told me all along that they were in contact with Whites and that Whites told them they were being built. I was both surprised at their lack of professionalism and at the fact that they outright lied to me about placing my order. I will be ordering directly through Whites themselves from now on, as they are much easier to deal with. Don’t order anything through these folks!
