Delicious consistent excellent quality tacos. You just have to try them all! Favorites are Baja shrimp and Mr Orange & always try this taco of the month. You will never be disappointed but you will always be stuffed here…

Pretty typical Torchy’s location. If you are looking for authentic street tacos, this is not your place. This is more of a «trendy», gourmet, type of place. It’s noisy, w/pretty plain table & chairs. But the food is pretty good. They do have a bar, so come get your drink on!

I went to UT in Austin, and lived right next to the Torchy’s there. You could imagine my excitement when I found out there was a Torchy’s in Fort Worth! I love this location! Great atmosphere. There’s usually a pretty long line during breakfast/brunch time, but it goes by pretty quickly. My typical order consists of Chips & Queso, Wrangler breakfast taco, & Ranch Hand breakfast taco. Seriously y’all, these are the best breakfast tacos. I used to go to other taco places in town, but none of them compare to Torchy’s!

Very good food. Super trendy and more of a hip little taco place. Expect to spend about $ 15 for two tacos and some chips with queso. You can’t eat here without trying the queso! I actually got the fried chicken taco(dirty) which means with queso. It was delicious and the other taco was great as well but I can’t remember the name of it. My favorite part was the queso. They throw some guac in it, and it was fantastic. If you’re just looking for a quick dinner or lunch this is the place to go in Ft. Worth.

My #1 mexican taco joint These are the best tacos EVER!!! They cram more meat in the tortillas than any other place in both north and south America combined. I came here for breakfast and got 4 tacos for my wife and I to split. We each were able to eat one for breakfast and saved one for lunch. My #1 is green Chile pork. Carnitas simmered with green chiles, topped with queso fresco, cilantro, onions and an extra squirt of sauce. #2 has gotta be crossroads smoked beef brisket(were in Texas now ya herd?) With grilled onions, jalapeños, cilantro, pepper jack cheese, a big old squart of tomatillo salsa and a big honking slice of avacado

It’s funny how I forget to Unilocal about some of my favorite places. Torchy’s is pretty much my gold standard of the almighty taco. Sure, they have some classics and basics and the ones you expect. And those are excellent. But my love affair with Torchy’s is The Dirty Sanchez. Oh, how I crave it… It’s different — one of their most unique ones. Egg, avocado, some kind of spicy carrot veggie mix, cheese, topped with — oh yes — a fried pepper. Two of those on corn… pure happiness. I also love their natural(or closer to natural) soft drinks. As a lifelong diabetic, I really appreciate a good diet drink. MAN their diet cola is LEGIT. Delicious. Typically crowded and ever-popular — but efficient and cashiers keep the line moving. Consistently tasty. Never had a bad meal or experience at any Torchy’s, and I’ve stopped by this one… at least 4 times, including today. Also been to the one in Addison /North Dallas, the one in Waco near Baylor, and the old food truck in Austin. All consistent. Love this place.

+ The tacos here taste great, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of your choices + They are reasonably priced, $ 3-$ 5 + I have a somewhat of a small appetite, 2 tacos is more than enough! + You get a number and set it on the table, and they bring the tacos to you! Super convenient + Lots of parking, but the lot can get full as it is near a hotel + There’s a bar! + My favorite is the Baja Shrimp, Brushfire and Trailer Park– get it trashy

I love Torchy’s tacos. Love the flavor. But they can definitely improve their service quality and speed. All their locations are always busy and this location in particular was crowded with people. But this location is also slower. The wait time on 4 tacos was around 25 minutes. Luckily, the flavors weren’t compromised. The independent and fried avocado tacos were both good. So I left as a happy customer.

Love this place. Ask for secret menu.(Ace of spades). Great tacos, different than ‘authentic’ more of crazy chef style tacos. But freaking awesome. Stupid app wants a longer review, don’t really know what else to say so now I’m just writing whatever comes to mind in order to make this review long enough.

Torchy’s tacos are one of a kind! I have been here many times and yet to write a review-so here it is. It is absolutely true to quote another, «[a] local favorite of [the] people,» but in Fort Worth. It is always packed in here-yep, a line most of the time we visit. My favorite tacos: the Ranch hand breakfast taco, the Dirty Sanchez, and the Brush Fire. All are very tasty and would recommend, except the Brush Fire-unless you like spicy hot food. As an appetizer, the chips and queso is extraordinary, and worth trying…

This place is a good place if you want a street taco. I really like the variety of different tacos here but it can definitely get a bit pricey. The guacamole has 0 flavor and there isn’t much variety in the drinks because they have their own unique drinks just like velvet taco. The customer service is none besides talking to the person at the counter and they pretty much sound like a robot when they take your order. The food comes out pretty fast and quickly so not much of a wait. Overall three stars because velvet taco is wayyy better

Great place to get fresh, fast affordable Mexican food. Fun atmosphere with their devil mascot everywhere. Everyone in my group was pleased with their choices, in fact they all devoured them! I love the creativity in the taco names … TRAILERPARK fried chicken, green chiles, lettuce, pico de gallo and cheese on a flour tortilla with poblano sauce… they suggest you«get it trashy. take off the lettuce and queso» lol DIRTYSANCHEZ, THEDEMOCRAT and THEREPUBLICAN are a few other names! And the serve breakfast tacos and alcohol!

Don’t get me wrong, we love Torchy’s. But this location rained our parade through Torchy’s delicious menu. Granted, this place was packed when we arrived, but no worries — we’re from out of town and wanted our Torchy’s, so a wait was fine by us. The first thing our order taker said wasn’t «Welcome» or «Hi, how are you?» but rather«It’s 35 minutes for food.», said almost as a threat. Seriously? Thanks for the info, but her demeanor could have been much more welcoming. She seemed almost paranoid. We managed to get our order in and grab a seat. About 10 minutes later a guy says he has our order to-go. We politely say sorry, we didn’t order to-go, so he leaves. About 5 minutes later he comes back and puts down food that is definitely not ours. We again state this is not our order, and his response was«Seriously?». Yes, seriously my man. We showed him the receipt and he left frustrated. Third time is a charm I guess, as the next time we were given food it was ours. Unfortunately it wasn’t very hot, even bits of bacon being on the cold side. I understand they were crazy busy, but the location in Arlington that we visited the following day was equally as busy, and we had a 5-star experience there. It was as if the staff was made up of burnt-out college students recovering from a party. We did hear that our friends who live in Ft Worth order to-go all the time and have not had issues, so perhaps that’s the way to go. But if you’re swinging by to try the Torchy’s experience, you might want to make sure it’s an off hour or try another location. This one was a hot mess.

I really enjoyed this place! We came during the TCU/Texas Tech game so it was crowded. However, we didn’t have to wait too long for our food. You walk in, order at the counter, then find your seat. The servers bring the food out to you. They have a full bar to keep you occupied. Multiple TV screens so you can catch your favorite sport(football games). COST: Reasonable and cheap. One taco is about $ 3-$ 4… I ordered 2 tacos and was satisfied off both. FOOD: I really enjoyed their tacos! The guacamole and chips were DELICIOUS!!! I ordered Baja Shrimp taco and Democrat. My fave was the Baja shrimp… I liked both… But I definitely will order the Baja shrimp again. ATMOSPHERE: Casual, average noise… Chill ambience. Good for kids too! PARKING: As crowded as the restaurant was, there was LOTS of parking! If your visiting Texas, like u was… And need a quick good meal… This is the place to go

I love Torchy’s. When I was going to school, Torchy’s was my study fuel/heck I just want a greasy taco fuel. I think this Torchy’s is representative of the many I’ve been to– friendly service and delicious tacos/sauces. I love the salsas here. The avocado, Diablo, and tomatillo go on all my tacos, though I’d advocate trying them all. My personal favorites are the Wrangler(brisket, egg, and potato), the green chile pork, and the fried avocado. Sometimes with tacos, I think simpler can be better, but there’s something about Torchy’s «everything but the kitchen sink» style that works. Delicious tacos! So I recently placed a to-go order and didn’t think my tacos tasted fresh. So that’s the only reason I would withhold a star. This place has a nice aesthetic, and the branding/décor here is cool. I dig it. I’ll definitely be back. Special parking in the front for to-go orders.

Not great, both in food and in service, mediocre at best. The place was super packed for a Friday lunch, but I decided to wait it out. The person at the counter was impatient and a little rude; I understand you’re busy, but each customer deserves a fair shake. The tacos were really not that great, more fancy than tasty. I had the fajita beef on corn tortillas, with some pico that come in it. The meat was dry, either overcooked or cooked earlier and sat in anticipation of the lunch rush. The tuna with cabbage slaw was the same. A giant hunk of tuna with a flavorless pink mayo sauce on top. Again it looked great, but was dry and overcooked. It was called Mr. Pink, but it was so overdone it should be called Mr. Gray. The slaw on it was cool and sweet, best part of the meal. Also, the sodas are a «trendy» brand — just tasted like the grocery store brand of Coke or Dr Pepper. While eating my chair was bumped repeatedly by staff(never once by a customer). Later when I went for a refill, two employees seemingly had a debate about job roles in front of the soda fountain while I waited. Really Torchy’s? This must’ve been a bad food AND service day, because I can’t see why they’re spreading. Maybe because they serve alcohol?

I’ve had my eyes on Torchy’s ever since they put up the sign«Torchy’s Tacos coming soon» It always looks busy, so we never stopped. It’s bigger than what it looks on the outside. If you want authentic tacos, keep on driving. If you want a creative twist on tacos then this is your place! First, the Queso. The queso deserves 5 stars on it’s own. So delicious and probably the best I’ve had. All tacos at Torchy’s, no other entrees or salads. They do have forks if you want to fork your taco. I got the Democrat and the Fajita steak. My husband got the Trailer Park tacos. All soo good. My favorite was the Democrat. Looking forward to coming back!

Love this place. Even tho there was a long line for Thursday lunch, it moved quickly. The queso is the best I’ve had. Not too spicy with all kinds of things added. Chips were light & crispy. I got Vegetarian option The Independent. It was huge and full of large fries portobello mushrooms. Really great. For dessert we got the friend chocolate chip cookies. They are more like cookie balls. So different and super rich! I was visiting from Houston, so I hope to see a Torchy’s in the Bay Area of Houston soon?! Another plus is the price! My taco was hue and only $ 3.50!
