I love the Mexican food here it taste amazing. I really enjoyed the fajitas and with their garlic sauce. They always have the best of the best Mexican food here. Also the prices are really not that bad for what you get. I love coming here, this because they always have great service and food.

The fajita meat is good quality but in general, The food is way overpriced at this chain restaurant. The amount of food you get is very small in comparison with other places. The chips have no flavor. They are paper thin.

These are the best fajitas on the planet. The chicken is juicy with a great skin and the steak is always cooked perfectly. The restaurant is consistently at the same level of greatness and is clean and friendly.

I LOVE the cheese enchiladas! The queso is amazing as well. I have tried many Mexican food restaurants in Fort Worth and this is by far my favorite.

I’m a foodie– I’ve been eating here for ten years or more. I’ve tried many items over the years but fajitas are what I have always come for. Sad to say last night will be my last visit. Moving on. Here’s why. Over the years I’ve always loved loved loved this place but things have been changing the last few years. We use to go there for special occasions bc the price seemed high. But we would walk away saying, «that was expensive but dang well worth it». They have been toying with new menus for the last three years, meaning taking things off the menu but more importantly jacking the prices up. For example I use to eat the Pappasitos Grill, started at 14.99 now is $ 24 I believe. Now every item is $ 15 plus. Taco plate, enchiladas even freaking Nachos?! Ok let’s add some insult to injury. So last night it starts right off the bat; chips not as good, salsa a little more watered down(shame bc they use to be bomb), fajitas come out and they are little thin pieces(use to be a nice steak cut), only had a small amount of grilled onions(use to be more onions and some bell peppers) then I notice no grilled jalapeño pepper no drawn butter, then I notice barracho bean and rice had been down sizes considerably. So here’s the deal Pappa, you can’t charge premium prices and be cheap at the same time, while dropping quality. So for me you raised the price through the roof and lowered the standards. Bad idea bad combination. I understand companies have to make changes, make money etc, but the price hikes simply don’t match the quality or the serving size. Last I left and said, «that was way to expensive for what we got». So adiós Pappa guess greed had over taken your company. Bc Pappa your stuff isn’t that good to charge that much. Bottom line to expensive for what you offer. Sad day but you lost this long time customer hope your backroom bean counters read this. Also it was Colonial Golf Weekend at 7 pm. No wait, half empty, parking spaces… hum guess I’m not the only one with this opinion. Should have been packed.

Just know if you eat at this restaurant that they do not guarantee the safety of their patrons. Our car was broken into while eating there. They have no security cameras and one security office for all three restaurants Pappadeauxs, Pappasito’s and Pappas. On top of that you will only get a response from their manager who says they are not responsible.

The food and service was as good as I remembered. I called ahead about 3 hours so that they would know I was bringing a group of 52 people. The hostess who answered the phone transferred me to the manager. He was not very courteous and basically told us not to come. He wanted my number to call Pappadeaux’s manager to see if he could take us. When the manager called me back, he said they couldn’t take us either. I am from Indiana now, but had lived in Texas before. I wanted some Papppasito’s! That was not what I wanted to hear. He finally suggested that we split up and half would go to each restaurant. When I arrived, they weren’t even that busy. We all were seating within 10 mins. I was really disappointed with the manager, but our waiter and the food were awesome.

What can I say, I love this place! Great food, great drinks, nice atmosphere(on the patio at least), what more could you want. The happy hour has a nice selection of appetizers and there Rita’s are in the top three we’ve found. Yum!

Service was great. Sam did good. They just didn’t send out the sour cream and cheese WHICHYOUHAVETOPAYFOR, which is outrageous I’m sorry. Sam had them take it off our bill for how much we spent I didn’t think it was all that great. The frozen mango margarita was good at best. The salsa was so bland. It honestly had to type of flavor. I work at a fine dining Mexican restaurant and I always here people complain about our prices. But wow. This place isn’t even fine dining. Like one of the servers was walking around using her phone. Save yourself some money and taste buds and drive up the road to uncle Julios. So much better.

The food is really mediocre at best. I have been here a few times, and I usually get the beef fajitas. Fajitas are usually a pretty good indication of how a Mexican restaraunt in Texas wants to present itself. The fajitas are just meh. Nothing special about them, the topping, or the rice and beans that comes with it. It’s really just a run of the mill fajita serving. The single serving beef fajitas are $ 28.50. And it is a pretty modest portion sizing. You did read that right, it’s single serving, one person entrée of fajitas for 28.50. I can get better fajitas with larger portions for TWO for around $ 22.00. This is just more of an upscale well-to-do establishment. Everything is way over priced. The service is pretty lack luster and even on the side of offensive. Our waitress last Friday night was pretty bad. She acted like she had no idea what she was doing, and that we were a burden to serve. We weren’t being complainers, we didn’t send anything back, she just acted like when we asked for another beer or desert it was this big chore to be there. If you want to chill out with your friends and money is not an object, then you might enjoy this place. If you want to chill out with your SO and or friends and don’t have an endless bankroll, I suggest you not go here.

We were once such fans of Pappasito’s. In fact, my husband and I went to their Round Rock/Georgetown location on our first date back in 2002. It’s seems that they are still über popular, but we perhaps have grown out of our love for them. The past several times we’ve visited(different locations) we’ve been disappointed. This time was no different. We decided to drive over for our anniversary this past November. It was during the week, probably no later than 5:30. There was no wait, l and there were plenty of tables open, but for some reason the hostess had us wait at the front for a goofy period of time. When she took us to be seated she was going to sit us right in the middle of several loud groups. I guess huddling all of us to make it convenient for the server? There were MANY open tables just outside of the loudness, one being literally one table away. Literally I turned around in place and asked her if we could be seated there. Instead of making us — paying customers — happy(by taking two, maybe three steps), she had us stand thee while she went BACKTOTHEFRONT to ask if that was okay. Seriously? We weren’t asking to be seated far away from everyone else. This wouldn’t have inconvenienced the serve at all, lol. So we stood there. And stood there. And just as we were about to say Fuck It and leave, she comes back and acts like she’s doing us this huge favor. I’m wondering if she was just new and didn’t want to do anything wrong? I don’t know but it was so stupid, lol. Anyway, we sat, we ate, we paid too much for food that doesn’t ever seem to really deserve what they charge, and we left. Every now and then my husband and I will get a craving for Pappasito’s of days gone by… then we remind ourselves how disappointing they are now to us.

Come hungry, because they give you a ton of food! My wife got the«lunch» portion salad, and it was enough to feed two people! The chips and salsa are great too! Great atmosphere for the whole family.

I’ve eaten here twice and both meals were splendid. They give you plenty of chips and savory roasted salsa to snack on while you’re waiting. The meats are always expertly seasoned and grilled and every dish I’ve had has been to die for. Carne asada is out of this world tender and juicy. The margaritas are huge and the atmosphere is just tex mex gringo enough to be entertaining without being too kitschy. This is a great place to come for a party, a family, night, or even a casual date.

Sadly, they changed their menu and no longer offer our all-time favorite, Camp Fire Fajitas. If you have been eating here for as long as we have, take a moment to review the new menu. It is very seafood heavy. 4 stars though because the food has always been high quality for what is advertised. However, the prices are definitely reflective of said quality. I’m talking $ 15 for enchiladas and quesadillas so be ready to spend. I like their drink specials in the summer, slices of watermelon, big strawberries and more but, alas, even as I write, my grief at the loss of that sweet, sweet pineapple butter has overcome me and I must end this bittersweet review. If we return, it will be because the’ve put Camp Fire fajitas back on the menu!

The Food is fantastic. This is the best Mexican in DFW. The staff is nice and very helpful. They waited on us hand and foot. I have not had this good of service in such a long time. It’s great for just a night out in the town and it’s also great for families. I promise this is the place you want to be. And if you get the chance ask for Daniel. He is the best!!!

We had the worst experience here. Cheese in my soda, no taste bland pepper and the ribs were nasty, especially the bbq sauce. You could get better in a bottle. It almost tasted bad or really old. We had a window seat, which was nice till a group of 8 office workers i assume who were so loud. They kept trying to talk over each other so it kept getting louder and louder. We couldnt even talk because we couldnt hear each other… The ceviche only tasted like lime, nothing else. It wasnt good. We’ll go downtown and pay more for good ceviche. Our waitress was awesome!!! Way more upscale than this place. We never had to ask for anything. Quite a few new people standing around. Dont go. We paid $ 59 and Taco Bell was better!’

Pappasito’s provides a great Tex-Mex meal with consistently good service and they have a huge menu to choose from. I usually get the fajitas, but this time split the Chicken Quesadillas with my son. They were delicious. The lobster fajitas, and the shrimp en brioche are especially good here. Table side Guacamole and Queso are awesome additions to any meal. Great Tex mex. Huge portions. Friendly service. They take reservations for large groups. It’s a chain but very good quality and consistent.

I just reviewed Pappadeux, so since I am in the«area» I might as well review Pappasitos. Like the previous reviewer stated, it’s in the middle of Pappadeaux and Pappa’s burgers right off i-30. We ate here about a week ago. Prior to this, it has been 5 years since I visited Pappasitos. I liked it back then, but there are somethings that bothered me about this place. Yellow queso only(now they have white as well!). Their sodas were always flat and no sweet tea and that goes for every Pappa’s restaurant. All that doesn’t matter now since all I drink is water. Though I was happy to see that they have sweet tea now(Hey, I was raised in South Georgia!). I don’t know what else bothered me about this place, probably the overpricedness. I don’t know. ANYWAY! I had the filet mignon fajita with crab stuffed shrimp. The filet came topped with chimichurri! It was fantastic! We got there just in time for the lunch crowd, which was also a plus. I enjoyed my experience at Pappasitos and hopefully it will not be another 5 years before we return :).

The Tex-Mex cuisine is alive and well with Papasito’s. My first visit was a good one. The restaurant is situated next to sister properties Papadeaux and Papas Burgers, all of which seemed to be enjoying healthy crowds. The restaurant has a tortilla making machine setup in the dining area, so patrons can walk by and see/smell what’s being made. Our table asked for a basket of fresh tortillas and boy we were not disappointed. Dip them in queso, salsa, or just eat them plain and you could easily make a meal of them. The entire table devoured the tortillas within 15 minutes. The menu has all sorts of options, probably one of the more popular dishes being combination plates. You can mix some of their famous enchiladas with tacos or something else. Most of the food is smothered in your choice of sauces– cheese based or chili based. The prices are on the higher end($ 15-$ 19 per plate) but the portions are huge and you get never ending chips and salsa to start the meal. There’s a decent dessert menu as well but we were all too stuffed to indulge. The interior is clean, and done up nicely. This place is perfect for large groups. The table next to us must have had 15+ people and they were sharing these huge plates full of food, almost family style. Not sure how all that works but it looked cool and like a nice way to spend time with friends and family. Our server was awesome– very attentive, friendly, and helpful with the menus. There’s a good kids menu as well with plenty of Tex-Mex and American options.
