Every time I am in town I have to stop here to get some fajita tacos. Love their tacos. A lot of the times I also get caldo de res. Love it. Their juices are also delicious. I really enjoy the horchata and agua de melon. The prices are extremely affordable compared to other places I’ve tried. I like the easy parking and the fact I can just sit out in the patio and eat. This place to me is equivalent to a food truck without the truck. Nothing fancy but the food is delicious

I am a native of Fort Worth and LOVE Tex –Mex and Mexican cuisine. I am also a chef and have owned several bars and restaurants, so I feel like I have a pretty good handle on expectations when it comes to food and beverage. Though this place is pretty rough to look at, it had by far some of the best street-Mex food in Fort Worth Tacos, tortas, whatever I have ordered have been absolutely top notch. The Barbacoa tacos with avocado are un-real! Killer rice and beans. I took my restaurant crew there for a quick lunch, now they are all hooked. Breakfast burritos are ridiculously good. Service has always been friendly. It amazes me the caliber of food this place is putting out. WAYTOGO !

I eat here almost every weekend. Once or twice my food was a little greasy for my taste but most of the time it is great. Will definitely continue to come here.

MMMMMMM! These breakfast tacos were the best thing I’ve paid for in a long time! Got the huevos y papas and huevos y chorizo. Papas were perfectly seasoned and the chorizo was fantastic– my mouth is still that perfect amount of warm right now(that’s what she said?) :) And holy shit! These tortillas!!! They’re so perfectly handmade, not store bought! I HATE store bought tortillas! I’m definitely going to ask to buy a dozen of their tortillas next time I go… which might be tonight… Check this place out asap! P. S.- The green sauce is amazing! I’m going to start collecting a big stash to have in case of the zombie apocalypse.

I had menudo and chicharon tacos. I found out I’m not a fan of menudo, but I’m not going to hold that against the restaurant. The tacos were served like what I have come to expect of ‘street tacos.’ This is NOT an upscale, artsy, hipster place! But, if you want GOODCHEAP tacos, $ 1.60 per taco isn’t a bad deal! :) Oh, yeah! I really liked the green sauce they provided for the tacos!

After bombing out at the Cowtown Chow Down, I was actually thinking of hitting Billy Miner’s new place just up the street. But then I saw Taqueria Acapulco right next door, and thought, «I have not been here in a very long time.» Many many many years ago they had my favorite steak tacos, so even though I blew off the Chile Pepper Grill food truck, I hit Taqueria Acapulco anyways. Sadly it did not live up to my memories, and did not quite hit the flavor profile I was looking for. The beef was a bit dry and a tad too salty, however the salsa verde was very good and made up for the asada’s shortcomings, hence my A-OK rating(or maybe it was the 32oz beverage from the Eskimo Hut that made these tacos seem OK). Bottom line: Decent cheap eats, 3 tacos were less than $ 6.
