Supreme Painting

Dalton and crew here yesterday to do a free touch up. Wow! Never heard of anyone doing this before. He has painted both inside and outside my house including new baseboards and crown molding. Excellent job and service.

Reasonable price, good painting job. The colors were as picked and he finished the job before anticipated.
However, his crew tracked mud into the house when they were supposed to be either using shoe coverings or not wearing shoes. Our house had no furniture and was completely new. We don’t wear shoes in the house, so I know the mud was from his crew. When questioned, he said his crew «took their shoe coverings off because they got paint on them.» I wonder why they didn’t bring more shoe coverings? You’d think this is an issue that comes up fairly frequently in this business. They were supposed to put plastic down to protect the floors also (we have hardwood floors). My husband was there and saw no evidence of this at all.
Also, my husband witnessed his crew cleaning up by pouring the excess paint and rinsing off their materials in our sinks. Yes, every. Single. Sink. (We have 5.) I have no idea what this does to the plumbing, but I’m sure you are not supposed to be pouring paint down the sink. When the supervisor came back and my husband mentioned it to him, he said, «I can’t believe they did that in front of you.» Like it’s okay if he wasn’t there to witness it? When I questioned Dalton about it, he said he had «a conversation» about it. No offer of cleaning up, paying for a person to clean it, etc.
I am happy with the paint job but very unhappy with the way Supreme Painting treated our house. I think he should have offered something to make this right. He insists that his crew put plastic down, and wore shoe coverings, but at some point they did not and tracked mud into the house. Instead of denying this, perhaps he could offer to deduct something from the price to pay for the clean-​up? Having a conversation with them does not negate what they did, nor does it make it easier for me to clean up diluted paint from my bathrooms.
I will never use them again.

dalton tomlinson came to our house to give us an estimate and left with an expensive pillow from our couch to «match» colors. never received the estimate and cannot get our pillow back. have reached the stage where we are going to file suit to regain our property
