Wow. What a great experience. Sure, we had some other quotes and Darrell may not be the cheapest out there, but you get what you pay for. Professional. Experienced. Reliable. And he and his crew did a top-​notch job. Ever had contractors not return your calls, show up late, leave a mess, not do a great job, and/​or be generally unreliable? Call Darrell and skip the hassle and stress. My wife and I just loved his crew and their work. They painted four rooms in a house we just bought, and it was a perfect experience. Showed up on time, worked efficiently and didn’t waste time, didn’t leave a mess, and were a pleasure to work with. I painted a separate room myself to save a little money, and they were nice enough to share supplies (without my asking, and yes I did have my own supplies), give me pointers (very much welcome advice), and even help out themselves. It was a wonderful experience. Special shout-​out to Marcus and Theo (hope I didn’t misspell names), who were painting alongside Darrell that day. Great people. I can’t say enough good things. Highly recommended.

This company absolutely ROCKS MY WORLD!!! So professional! Everything you wish a painting company would be! I got stood up by painters who had promised to come paint my kitchen and breakfast area on a Sunday. Called FX on Monday and told them what happened. They had a crew at my house Tuesday morning ready to go! Banged it out in no time and it exceeded my expectations! Will definitely be using them for future projects! I am very pleased!!!

Creative, professional, exceeds expectations, and patient are just a few words to describe Darrell Johnson and FX Painting. I know it sounds too good to be true but I can assure he and his crew will «blow your socks off». Darrell painted our exterior and did such a fabulous job that we asked him to do every room in our interior. His color selections, timeliness and patience with me when I changed my mind were amazing. Darrell is the ONLY one I would trust with my house!

FX Painting did a great job on the renovation to our primary living space and kitchen. We threw a bit of everything at Darrell and he handled it beautifully! Over a half dozen colors, many with multiple finishes on walls and woodwork. On top of that they re-​stained our kitchen cabinets with a hint of ceruse, added a great customized glazed wall band, and did a fantastic dark oil based finish to a large built-​in. All of this required great planning, execution, and attention to detail… no problem for FX. We would highly recommend Darrell and his team.

We got so lucky when I ran into Darryl from FX. We were just about to begin renovations of our new clothing store, W.O.W. dallas, when our previously contracted painters bailed at the last minute. Darryl had his team prepping before we knew it!
They did efficient and professional work of high quality for a fair price. we have continued to add projects to the job all of which have been carried out quickly and well. Anything needed to accomplish our goals was accommodated from transporting items, finding a carpenter, power washing concrete, touch ups, changes, color choices etc. We are thrilled with the results, the resource and the friendship!

I had a simple wall graphic that need to be covered up with paint. The other painting companies were either too busy or not interested in following through with the bid. The project was started just a few days after I accepted the bid (my delay). The job took them one day to complete! They were on time, clean and polite. Everything from start to finish was just easy. Highly recommended.

Darrell was referred to us by a well established realtor. Needless to say we were thrilled with his professionalism and quality of work. His team painted the exterior of our 2800 sqft home using three different colors (accents and tones). He was patient with our changing needs & stayed within our budget. I met Darrell Johnson of FX Painting several years ago through a mutual friend. I had heard of his company many times over the years but had never used them as I had a painter that had worked with me for years and was not interested in changing. About a year after we met I was in need of a new painter. I called up Darrell and had him come out to a client’s home and make multiple repairs and paint several areas of the home. Everything he did was done in a professional and timely manner. I have since that time used Darrell and FX Painting for many different projects from renovations to new construction.
