Staff is nice but the service is slow even when no one else is ahead of you. Overall convenient because of the proximity to my job but otherwise I’d use someone else to do my services.

I went to get an inspection sticker over my lunch break thinking it wouldn’t take longer than 15 – 20 mins, if they weren’t busy. After showing up at 11:50 a.m. I didn’t leave until 12:40 p.m. I was extremely upset considering I was one of two customers waiting. The gentleman helping me was very nice, however, had no sense of urgency about him. He took two other walk-in’s then proceeded to have discussions with other employees and drink a bit of coffee before starting my inspection. After getting started, the inspection took about 10 – 15 mins. If you are on a schedule or have somewhere to be, I would NOT recommend this NTB — from reading other’s reviews, it seems time management is an issue at this store. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location.

Price point was not bad on the tires but the wait time is ridiculous. Over two hours just for buying two new tires. I would understand if they had come and told me about the wait time. Told it was a 45 min wait.

First of all, the location is very nice, and very clean. There is even a business center set up for you while you wait. Want/need coffee? You got it. Keurig set up for your convenience, television with remote on the table, magazines, a place for your laptop and about 5 or 6 others… you could really get some work done if you needed to. IF you have time, that is. On a Wednesday, at noon, Rikki got me in and out, in about 30 minutes, maybe a little less. The customer service was really great all around. Everyone was very friendly, which is something I always appreciate. Cost is comparable(maybe even a little better) than any other place I’ve ever been for an oil change. It was about $ 40 for a conventional oil change today. However, they include a lot of nice little extra’s with their oil change. Things like, checking your battery, belts, hoses, topping off fluids, and I can’t remember what else, but it’s pretty comprehensive for an oil change. Remember when you used to just expect those things to be done? Yep, they still do it. Awesome, huh? :-) Additionally, you can log on to their website and schedule an appointment and you can see what services are included there as well. One last thing that I think is important to mention, from a woman’s perspective, I’m always a little worried about taking a vehicle in for any kind of service, because I feel concerned that the men working there will take one look at me and try to sell me extra services or try to take advantage somehow(because this has been my experience at many other places in the past) so I really love that there is a woman working at this location. I hope she stays because when I need to schedule future services, it will be with her. She treated me well and I know she did a great job taking care of the car. Thanks, Rikki! :-)

As I have an upcoming trip to Austin, I felt like it was time to get an oil change before pushing my car any further. Given that NTB is really close to where I work, I decided to give them a try on my lunch break. All in all, it was an okay experience. I wasn’t disappointed but I wasn’t really blown away either. The oil change took about fifty minutes which kind of surprised me, considering it was around 10 a.m. on a Wednesday and there were only two other cars in the garage with what appeared to be a full staff. But I’m not hung up over the time as it wasn’t really an unbearable wait. The guy who seemed to be running things, Darrell Jones, was kind and informative. He gave me updates throughout the wait, let me know what my current oil situation was(not good) and about repairs my car may need in the future. I really don’t like it when shops try to goad you into getting repairs done but I don’t feel like NTB was particularly abrasive about it. I felt like the price could have been a bit lower but this location was giving $ 10 off oil changes today(for certain packages), so it wasn’t too bad. All in all, I’ll probably stick with the locations I usually go to for oil changes but NTB wasn’t bad. I don’t feel like I was ripped off and that’s saying something when you’re talking about an automotive shop. And props to Darrell, who I’m assuming is the manager, for being good with the customers.
