I was always so confused driving by this place because I would see people dine in through the giant clear windows but there is a car parked within the store as well. Turns out, this is a wine bar with much to offer. The cool thing about the bar is that they sell wine bottles at retail price so you aren’t getting ripped off. We had a fairly large group that day and they were able to arrange around our seatings. In addition to the wines, they offer some finger foods that will delight everyone. They also disappear really quickly among a big group so you might have to order several plates! I enjoyed the meat charcuterie board which was fun to munch on while being fancy with wine in one hand. The food here won’t make you full(at least for us) so I suggest you come here after a dinner or dine in a restaurant afterwards. Overall, great service and a nice bar along the Magnolia area!

What a fantastic spot for wine, apps & great ambiance. Coming from California, I’m pretty spoiled when it comes to wine bars. What a pleasant surprise. Kent @ Co is now one of my favorite downtown Fort Worth hot spots. Also, the staff was super friendly and I really enjoyed their Pinot selections.

Amazing cheeses on cheese plate, and excellent wine at a fairly moderate price. The only reasons this place doesn’t 5 stars from me is because of a couple odd things that happened. For one, they ran out of the wine that me and my friend ordered, so I only got half of a glass… and secondly, they don’t open bottles for tasting, so if the wine that you’re looking at isn’t open, then you can’t taste it first. Weird. But other than that, it was great!

My favorite place to come on magnolia. Have been trying to find a place like this in Fort Worth. Went with a friend a while back and loved it. Amazing cheese boards and fantastic wine. Love the atmosphere and vibe of the place. The dim lighting helps with the mood. Classy & young business people sorta place.

What a great discovery! Some of our friends asked us to meet there last Wednesday for happy hour. There were eight of us and it was a great evening, sitting on a comfortable couch with open windows, fresh air, and a super wine list. Literally dozens and dozens of well known wines available by either the glass or bottle, all fairly priced near liquor store levels. Who does that? Also offered were small snack plates with things like hummus, salami, breads, nuts, etc., all which complimented the wines we ordered. Although it’s in the planning stage, soon they will be offering dinner from a newly constructed kitchen. If you like a fun place and have a widely varied wine palette, you need to go to Kent & Co. I’ve driven by this place for quite a while and always thought how freaking cool it looks. This is a BAR and trendy GARAGE that has cars, just you know,…LIFTEDUPOVERYOURHEADS to admire while you enjoy your fabulous snacks and wine. We were there pretty early in the day, so it was quiet and great place for us to get our respective work done on our laptops while we chatted and had a drink. Blood and Honey for me, Prosecco for sister. No snacks for us, but wanting to go back and try some lite bites soon So get this… Not only can you have a great wine, or a great little snacky to eat, but because this place is a garage too, if you have a Cadillac, Honda or Hundayi, you can make an appointment to drop off your car and the employees of Kent&Co will take it to be seviced! Chester took care of us and is the manager of this business. He was super helpful in helping us select drinks, telling us all about their new event hall they are building and telling us about their super cool car services. This whole concept is such a unique idea, and I don’t know WHY it works, but it works! We went to three super cool places today and this by far was my favorite.

I LOVE this place! They have a superb wine menu, and you pay the same you would at the store if you order by the bottle(which is, to paraphrase Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, «A dangerous pastime, I know.») They had a Château Montelena Cabernet the last time we were there, which is noteworthy because it is difficult to find at the liquor stores in this area. Don’t go to Kent & Co. hungry, because they only offer appetizers. That being said, their artisan cheese and charcuterie boards are the perfect accompaniment to a bottle(or two) of wine. The atmosphere at Kent & Co is open and inviting. The storefront used to be an auto repair shop of some sort, and they still have a lift at the front of the building. That being said, the décor is very inviting and comfortable. There are also a couple of outdoor seating areas that would be perfect for this time of year. Kent & Co is my new favorite wine bar in Ft. Worth. We will definitely be back soon!

I just can’t get enough of this place. Jessica is the cat’s meow, but even if the service were subpar I would still be in love with the sunroom. The other customers are often really cool people we’ve struck up conversations with as well, and I am not even a big people person! They have damn fine cheese/charcuterie boards, but even if you’re hungry for something else, you can have food delivered! But try to get some extra dried strawberry things if you get the cheese board, those things are unreal. Service is always on point – Nick is also very helpful as is another fine gentleman whose name I’ve never caught but has fantastic curls, you’ll know him when you see him! When we move, this is definitely in my top 5 places I’ll miss(Japanese Gardens, Brewed, Kimbell and Modern among them!). THIS is exactly what a wine bar should be! Oh! And best of all? Baby friendly! ;)

We were in Fort Worth for a birthday celebration and had some time to kill so we came here to grab a glass and were thoroughly impressed. The service was very quick and on top of its game and the wine selection was just what we were looking for. I had one of the best Sauvignon Blancs I’ve ever had while enjoying the laid back atmosphere. There was also a company event going on while we were there so I know that they can host small parties too.

After hearing about this place for awhile, I know ignorance is not bliss, we finally ended up coming here to meet some friends one night. Boy that turnout to be a great time. It’s an old repair station that they have converted into a bar. Beer and wine only but they have a hell of a wine selection. You pay retail prices if you order by the bottle and a premium if you order by the glass. So it’s a no brainer order the whole bottle. They do a great job of staggering the prices with lots of selections in the $ 20-$ 40 range and then if you’re a big spender, which of course I am not as a lowly government employee, they’ve got you covered with a few at the $ 1,000 mark. Gee I wonder what a $ 1,000 bottle of wine tastes like. There is a small menu but they are totally OK with you having food delivered or picking it up yourself. Kent & Co Wines is worth it and a new top contender for my favorite local wine bar!

Beautiful building, whole sale wine prices, yummy snacks and great friends! Kent and co does not disappoint! My boyfriend and I met some friends Saturday night. It was a nice change of scenery from the usual west 7th debauchery! Our friends had been there for sometime and already ordered a few bottles and a cheese plate! The raved about both! My BF and I shared a bottle of Chardonnay, can’t remember the name of it. But it was good and refreshing in the summer heat! Our waitress Jessie was very sweet and helpful! We ordered the hummus sampler plate and for $ 7 it was perfect! I love them! My BF wasn’t impressed! AND Jessie even brought me out more cucumbers! Next we order the pinot Grigio that was on special for $ 20! I’m not going to lie, I love it and drank most of it! We will definitely be back soon!!!

Three cheers for all the ‘wine bars’ popping up that don’t charge you an arm and a leg for a bottle of wine. The concept is still a bit strange to me– showroom for cars plus bar and car shuttle service. Okay Frank :) The prices are awesome so I know we will continue to come. I’ve sent several people here for dates– it’s a great place to grab a drink and get to know someone. They have different specials so check FB. They also have light bites and don’t mind if you snag to go from another neighboring restaurant and bring it here. Pretty cool place.

This has become one of my end of the week go-to places. All right… it’s my «how can it only be Monday?», «Hey look, it’s almost Wednesday.», «Hey look it IS Wednesday!», «Four day work week…», «TGIF», go-to places. Where to start? How about the staff? They’re great. No one is in a rush to leave you behind, but they always seem to be available when you need them. They will kindly help you find a wine that is right for you. Then there’s the prices. They’re low. I mean, crazy low(for wine). What you’d pay at a retail outlet is what you’ll pay here. Not enough for you? Let’s talk food. They have some, but not a lot. What they do have is good. But wait, it gets better. Feel like a pizza from down the street? No problem. How about some Italian from up north? You’re covered. Kent & Co. gladly allows you to bring outside food. They focus on the wine. You focus on the food. Everyone wins. Atmosphere? There’s a killer indoor porch with massive windows for the summer and a large fireplace and overhead heaters for the winter. Rain, shine, snow, or wind you can enjoy a nice glass of wine on a porch. So why only four stars? Great question. They often have private events(which is great if you’re on the«in» list). The problem is that the private events overtake the venue. On three occasions in the last two months I’ve tried taking clients, co-workers or friends to Kent & Co on a weeknight, only to find that there was no place we could be served(or the staff was too busy to accommodate the crowd). I know this last bit is a nit, but keep in mind that if this is as bad as it gets — then this is a place worth checking out. Just remember to call ahead(reminder to self).

I love Kent & Co Wines ! This is THE spot for tasting fabulous wines by the glass(or bottle) without the 50% restaurant mark-up. People, they charge retail prices here, so think of Kent & Co as your go-to wine bar for 50% off bottles any night of the week. And there are some seriously great bottles on their list. They boast over 300 in stock! Pinots are my favorite and here I’ve enjoyed Merry Edwards, Cherry Pie, Belle Glos Dairyman and more. They are very generous and will usually allow you to sample before buying the bottle. In addition to wine they also serve a limited selection of craft brews and light bites. I highly recommend ordering a charcuterie and/or cheese board for your table. Great presentation and variety with these boards. There’s also bruschetta, hummus, desserts and coffee drinks made with local beans from Avoca. The space has an industrial vibe with dark wood and exposed brick. The patio is wonderful with floor to ceiling windows that slide open to let the outdoors in. Definitely a LUX automobile repair shop feel to the place. Apparently, you can have your car serviced while you relax drinking wine. :) Lastly, I do WISH Kent & Co would offer sommelier-led events. Special wine tastings on the regular would be awesome! Something along the lines of Central Market’s excellent Wine School.

Wow. After reading all of the positive press on Unilocal I was bound and determined to give Kent & Co. a try. Boy am I glad I did. This place is fantastic. Let’s run through the reasons why you should give Kent & Co. a visit. — complimentary valet parking(remember to tip!) — Excellent and robust selection of white, red and rose wines — Great staff with knowledge to share — Perfect ambience and plenty of comfy seating to fit any size of group The wine selection is truly exceptional. If you can imagine it the staff can likely recommend something to meet that palette. Prices are wide ranging so you cab spend a little or a lot. There’s a small nosh menu that includes house made hummus, artisan cheeses, dried fruits, nuts, and bruschetta. We went with the small combination platter and was very happy with the selections given to us. Hummus was very well done. Oh, there are mocktails and a handful of good craft beers to select from if wine isn’t your thing. But make no mistake– this is a wine bar through and through. The interior is a refurbished car service garage. There are nice little touches– Edison bulbs, gear-shaped wood tables, modern sofas, cement floors, and yes– an actual car lifted up over patrons. Our server(Dylan) was awesome. I had mistakenly left my credit card behind after we left. I made a quick phone call and the guys there quickly found my card and held on to it for me until I could make it back to recover. When the weather is right, the bay doors are opened up to let fresh air in. It’s a really cool touch the spot. Do yourself a favor and give a visit to Kent & Co. What a great way to try new wines, listen to excellent music(seriously, they have good taste in music), and perhaps meet some new friends.

With a name like Kent & Co, I knew I was unfairly judging the place before I even took a step inside. I just assumed the best wine places had names that referred to wine country or were in Spanish/Italian. I had no idea the name refers to the old auto garage that once occupied the space and becomes fairly apparent in the décor and menus. A friend pulled me in on a nice breezy Sunday after wandering around the Main Street Art Festival. She really wanted to hit Magnolia, both of us forgetting that(almost) everything closes down Sunday night. Except for Kent & Co. We spread out on their wide comfy couches, the breeze blowing in through the open windows and enjoyed a glass of white.

Just pricing alone, it is so hard to not like!!! Every bottle is sold in house at retail price. That is so hard to find. They have a huge by the glass list. Go in on a Monday and there is 15% off select wines by the glass. There is a small plates menu which I didn’t gander at for too long but I know it has something to do with cheese so I’ll indulge later :) Bring your own food. Food truck up front Wednesdays. Valet up front busy nights.

Kent & Co. has a rival right down the road, but this larger space provides a different experience. Less of a boutique and more of a trendy vibe, this eclectic wine shop/garage/bar provides some unique attributes. The most desirable trait here is the affordability. Drinking bottles at cost give this joint a leg up. They don’t carry too much of the crazy stuff – you know, the 3 digit bottles at which you gawk at before longing for the day when drinking this stuff is the norm – so don’t expect to find that bottle about which you can brag ‘this bottle is so hard to find.“ The bring-your-own-food policy is another nice addition. Coming here, you can keep your costs low for a date-night or even a group event. Settled on Magnolia, this rather large wine bar caters to the up-and-coming demographic that will soon descend into the Southside, turning it into the hottest place to be in the Fort… perhaps rivaling West 7th? Likely not, which is a bonus.

What an utterly darling joint! I loved the atmosphere, the lengthy list of wines and small plates(did not indulge in the latter) and the incredibly nice staff. I’ll keep this review as brief as my visit, because we unfortunately showed up 20 minutes before closing at the incredibly early(to me) hour of 11pm(and they had already stopped serving food, which was a disappointment). In my ideal world, wine bars stay open until past the Midnight hour. There sure were enough people in there to warrant later hours, hopefully this will become a «thing» of the future?
