I came here on the grand opening and waited in the drive through for over an hour. I thought«Ok, well it’s going to be super busy on the grand opening so whatever». When I finally got to the drive through I told the cashier I liked her watch and she didn’t even say thank you, looked at her co-worker and started laughing… um…ok…(I’m starting to notice that the fast food employees in this entire area always seem to have a problem with me.) The food was alright. I came back a few weeks later and one of my chicken strips was wet with who knows what.

I’m a bit upset I was really looking forward to the new Dairy Queen. But today, I got a cheese and my husband got tge dude combo and by the time I got home the burgers were cold. I’m frustrated because I was really really looking forward to this burger. Really hope they get together because this is the nearest Dairy Queen and it’s on the way home. I would hate to have to drive all the way to the Crowley to get a warm Burger but I would, just saying.

When I found out a DQ was being built near work, I couldn’t wait for it to open. It’s nice to have a DQ not that far from home(the other closest ones are the one on Montgomery by I-30 and in Crowley). There also was an Orange Julius location at the Hulen Mall that serves only desserts, but it closed several months ago and was replaced by a place that sells high-end sunglasses(oh wow, how exciting) *sarcasm* I’ve been there twice since it opened. The first time, I ordered a Chicken Strip Basket and got it faster than I could say it. Only issues I had were that I was stiffed on gravy(probably should’ve asked for one more cup of it) and the Texas Toast wasn’t very toasty, but it was nothing too bad. Both times I went, the service was friendly and fast. I should stop in for a Blizzard or a cone sometime
