Quick fast service did a call in order. The restaurant was not spotless but I still give it 9 out of 10. Customer service was good with tons of condiments hopefully the food is that’s good as the smells!

The food is wonderful and delicious! Perfectly breaded and crunchy. But the lady that works there… i guess maybe the manager. Older lady. Very rude to her employees and smart ass to customers! Other than that the food is delicious!

This is DELICIOUS catfish! Seriously! Reasonably priced, tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned breading, no bones about it (yes I did), awesome catfish! The kiddos love the BBQ chicken and fries. The hush puppies, small, one-​bite, caloric catastrophes that they are, are ridiculously yummy. Done the fillets and even the whole catfish and it isn’t at all gross or difficult to pull from the bone as my teenagers warned… in fact it was just as good, with a little more fish than the fillets offer. Glad to have found you, please don’t ever leave me! I «cat» live without you now that I’ve had you.

I stopped in for a quick snack while I was running an errand. I’m not really familiar with the area and it caught my eye. The menu is divided into sections of Catfish baskets, Seafood baskets and Chicken. All of the baskets come with fries and hush puppies. They will let you substitute the fries so I did.
The sides include fried okra, coleslaw, side salad, onion rings, green beans and red beans and rice.
Drinks are one size only. It’s about a 16 oz. Styrofoam cup for $ 1.99. Free refills and they have brewed tea on the counter. Sweet and unsweet.
The catfish was okay. They don’t go all out on the seasoning but the portions are generous.
Oh yeah, there’s a Hot wings section on the menu also. The flavor choices are Atomic, Hot, BBQ, Parmesan, Lemon-​Pepper and Honey Mustard. I noticed a lot of carryout business while I was there.

This place is absolutely amazing! Everything on their menu is great not just the catfish. The seasoning for the catfish is awesome! The wings are great in every flavor and the catfish fire sauce is the best hot sauce I’ve had yet! A++++ recommend this place to anyone looking for some good cajun catfish.

Stood at the front at the register for 5 min and no one came to the front. I could hear them talking in the kitchen. The door dings when you walk in and they have a sign at the register saying you’re on camera; so how did they miss me, I have no idea. I finally just left.
I found another catfish place half a mile away on Unilocal and there was a guy with a beautiful smile at the register ready to take my order as soon as I stepped thru the door. Customer service makes all the difference.

As a Louisiana girl im highly impressed. I ordered the combo with fillets and shrimp. My husband ordered the wings. All of it was good and hot. Nicely seasoned. I like it better than razoos.

Food is good but overly priced. Go to the hood and you’ll get a huge fish basket which comes with salad, fries, and 2 huge, meaty fish filets all for $ 6.00 bucks…

First trip to Kristy Catfish, will not be my last. Although off the beaten path, not great surroundings. The décor is dated, old, reminiscent of a old Kentucky fried chicken, however it is clean. I ordered the number one which is the Catfish strips, my wife ordered the fillet. Both baskets were exceptional. Fried to perfection, the fries were crinkle cut, and served in a basket. We left stuffed with fried Catfish. The lady that took our order was very helpful, actually suggesting to substitute something to save us a dollar or two. I think our Bill was 15 and some change, relatively cheap for the amount of food we ate, plus a drink. One thing my wife liked, she ordered a water and got a regular sized cup instead of the little shot glasses they usually give you. I would recommend this place.

This place has the largest pieces of catfish around. Customer service has always been on point. Always greeted with a smile. Your food is always hot and filling. Is located in a strip plaza and kind of small on the inside. But its keep clean inside and the condiments are always kept up. So far all of my orders have been correct.

if you ever find yourself in south fort worth looking for a place to eat, might i suggest krispy catfish. the catfish here is the best i’ve had in all of dfw. not that i’m a big consumer of fried catfish but the few times that i’ve ordered the dish, this place is my favorite. it’s an order at the counter and sit down and wait for them to bring you your food type of place. the staff is «eclectic» but all very nice and helpful. their menu is all fried seafood and they have a ton of different combos to choose from. i normally get the one fillet combo that comes with fries and two corn hushpuppies. i think it’s less than $ 5.

Prices are good and service is fast. This one of my go to places for catfish in Fort Worth.

I stopped in for lunch the other day after my doctor’s appointment which was right around the corner from the restaurant.
The fried catfish filet was huge as well as the shrimp. They don’t skimp on the portions in their baskets. The fish and shrimp were not greasy at all and both entrees were cooked perfectly.
I’ll definitely return again real soon to try out some of the other menu items. YUM!

I don’t quite get the «K“s, but this is a pretty nice place for a decent lunch pickup. The catfish has always been consistent, which often is a problem in indie joints like this. I did get the wings once just to try. Ungood.
Stick with the fish, and you’ll be good.
